I’m not big on writing reviews. I only do so when something special stand out to me. This time it was experience at Glo Salon La Jolla. Came in to get a trim from Sergei. He did an amazing job and my hair feels healthy and revived. You know you got a good haircut when you don’t need to do too much to style it afterwards. My stylist was sweet and funny. I left with a great cut and equally great mood. The salon itself was absolutely adorable, very clean and it felt fantastic getting pampered in such a pleasant place. I came in to see Sergei for a blowout. Hands down the best scalp massage I’ve ever had. So relaxing I wanted to fall asleep. This salon is super cute and welcoming. Everyone is very friendly. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserve the praise. I got a haircut by Sergei, not only he understood perfectly what I wanted, also he executed the haircut perfectly. The salon is comfortable, clean and has a great vibe all around. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good looks and pleasant customer experiences. P.S. This place is amazing!! I was planning my wedding from across the country and they were very flexible with me scheduling my hair/makeup trial just days before my actual wedding. I looked at so many hair/makeup vendors and Glo was by far the most affordable, especially for my bridesmaids. Aimee and Phavady arrived at my hotel right on time and did the hair and makeup for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and my husband's step-mom. Originally, not everyone was going to get their hair and/or makeup done, but they saw what great a job the stylists were doing and wanted to get their hair/makeup done, too! The stylists didn't have a problem with that since we were running ahead of schedule, which was really nice. I absolutely loved the way my hair and makeup turned out - it was even better than my trial! I wore my hair down, which was risky since my hair doesn't hold curl well, but it stayed in place the whole day. I felt very pretty! I highly recommend Glo! Read Less

This place is awesome! The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and talented. I went in for a blowout and ended up getting a spray tan and makeup application as well! Carina has been doing my lashes for a few months now. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. She is amazing! We have such a blast and the hour goes by fast. My lashes look amazing. I get compliments on them all the time. No complaints from me! I recommend her and Glo all the time! Read Less
