I've been to Quyen since way back & after giving my hair some time to get stronger and healthier I went back!I wanted something natural, but also added dimension to my flat dark brown hair. And Quyen delivered with almost zero damage. I didn't even need a haircut, and that never happens!!!Quyen is gentle, caring & takes her to time assure the best care for your hair. She also cares about the integrity of your hair, I learned my lesson about rushing the process and I just never seem to learn (LOL) but with Quyen she took her time to make sure my hair wasn't breaking & never left me alone!!! If you're a serious Yelper like me, I check reviews before I even go eat anywhere. I've been getting my lashes done for almost 4 years and have moved around locations the first year or so. I've been going to Deluxe Beauty Bar for almost two years and I am soooooooo happy. For the price I pay, I get way more of a full long lasting look then I've had before. "Monica" is not only extremely patient and hardworking but she's totally worth my commute every 3 weeks. I was scared about parking because it's downtown but I've never had an issue finding parking right out front. Don't waste your time and money on an other lash expert, this is the best in San Diego . This was my first time getting lash extensions. I was a little nervous because I had no idea what to expect. However, as soon as I stepped into the salon, Monica was there waiting for me and immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. This was one of the most relaxing things I've done. She asked me what kind of look I was trying to achieve and asked me if I wore glasses (which I do) to make sure she got the size just right. I already had a set of lashes on that were not good when I noticed my pilates instructors eyelashes. She referred me to Moni. She removed my old lashes and put on a new set. I went in to see Arlene for lash extensions after seeing a good price because she is a lash apprentice. I'm happy I took the chance because my lashes look wonderful. 5+++ Stars!!!!! This beauty bar is absolutely adorable it alone is more than 5 stars! Ive been getting my hair done by Kandice for over 5+ years & honestly don't trust anyone else to touch my hair. I have very thick hair which I know can be a pain to work with but Kandice always takes her time, listens to exactly what I want & always leaves it looking its best. I constantly get stopped asking how I keep my hair so healthy and shiny (& let me just say I've bleached & changed t...he color countless times). I highly recommend her magical hands! I also started getting my lashes done by Monica who literally saved my life. My eyelashes are bone straight & literally cover my eyes.
