As a preface to this review, I, like most people in this area, have a lot going on. I purposefully make appointments at salons that I am going to to ensure that I can fit it into my schedule. Unfortunately, there are many salons out there that just say "yes" to get you in the door and never actually have an appointment available. This is what happened to me at Cozy Nails Spa. I made an appointment for 4:30 for a pedicure and, of course, they said that there was an opening and that the time would work. I got there and waited about 5 minutes (not bad at all) and they sat me in a chair and turned the water on. I then sat there in that chair for another 25 minutes. No one said anything to me, no one asked if it was okay that I waited, and the water was very cold by that point. So, I put on my shoes and left. My recent expressed excitement to try out this spa quickly died down after I got my manicure. Tip: Ask for Tina or Beth. They do a good job. Unfortunately, I didn't get either one of them for my manicure and I feel like I just wasted $15. I could have done a better job.I'm happier with my pedicure - at least it's average. This nail place is a hidden gem.  The owner,Nancy is so sweet and friendly.  I had the mani/pedi special and I am highly satisfied.  They really do a great job at this place. The place is very clean.  They take walk-ins, but it is always a good idea to call ahead because this is a very small shop.   This place will now be my regular nail shop!  The price is more than reasonable too. I have now been here three times and I love it!  Nancy and Tina are both great!  Today a new face was there and her name is Anna... Great massage and not in a hurry.  The biggest thing about Cozy other than the service and personalities is their cleanliness!  They GET IT!   Filter is cleaned out between clients and that is almost never done in other salons.  They're very very accommodating as well.  So glad we found them!  Not to be confused with another salon by the same name in San Carlos - no affiliation I was informed.  Definitely worth your time and $ Read Less

Very disappointed. I made an appointment for my mom and me for 11 am today. Arrived at 11 but doors were closed. I was happy to wait a few more minutes, but the wait turned into ten minutes. The whole point of making an appointment was to manage my time for the rest of the day. I was willing to overlook this had I received a courtesy phone call informing me of a problem. I absolutely love this place! 2nd time coming with them for my mani and pedi. Love my red rose nail art! They do such an excellent job. They offer a variety of nail services, European facial, and waxing. I highly recommend trying Cozy Nails Spa you will not be disappointed. I have just had the sweetest experience at Fantastic Nails.  Vo gave me a very expert mani-pedi, I am absolutely pleased.  This is a cozy shop with 3 chairs and I will continue to frequent this nice spot and receive quality service.  The massage was wonderful and I like like like the scent of the lotion Vo used, pleasant and soft.  I felt very comfortable here and that is important to me when I visit a salon.  As another reviewer mentioned, this IS a kind place and the customer service IS positive and the end product are 20 nails, 2 hands and 2 feet that haven't looked this pretty ... in a LONG time.  Thank you, Vo.  You made my day! This is the worst nail salon to ever exist.  Not that great of a polish job.  They only do a so-so polish job and the polish will chip quickly (within same day) after the treatment.  Now (four days later) there is some polish off all my nails.  This has never happened to me before and there is nothing I have done to cause this.  I could have done better doing it myself with my left hand.   I heard a remark mentioned to two people getting pedicures that their toe nails were too long.  I thought that was rude to say to anyone.  Isn't that why they were there?  My nail polish came off so fast that I will not return!  There are many nail salons.   Don't bother coming to this location, you will only get bad service. My Mom and I came here today for a mani-pedi date. This is a small nail shop owned by a husband and wife, Kenny and Yen. Weekdays it's just the two of them and weekends they have an additional lady to help. Kenny and Yen's customer service is outstanding. They were the most pleasant people to be around. No nail shop drama. You could see the happiness on their faces, it was great energy to be around. Their friendliness alone scored them a new customer. I will be back!The shop is very small but clean. They use the big chairs with attached foot baths. The chairs do not massage and need upgrade. There are 3 total and they gently vibrate. Mine was too slow so I honestly couldn't feel it but that's okay because the owners were so lovely to be around it didn't even matter. They aim to please their customers. I can tell they are the type of couple that has a lot of good friends and people who appreciate them. My mani-pedi was $30, that includes a 10 minute massage with the pedi. You can purchase an additional 30 minutes for $20 - that's a killer good deal compared to nail shops that charge 1 buck a minute for every additional massage minute. My Mom got a pedicure only which was $23 total. We both requested 10 minute extra massage and were given a discount! Score! In my honest opinion the massage aspect if the best part. A bad massage with limp hands ruins it all. Both Kenny and Yen have STRONG hands. Both my mani and pedi massages were enjoyable. Kenny is very firm and focused when he massages. The manicure was very basic but Yen is detailed as she works. She cleaned my cuticles and nails up nicely. The pedicure comes with a scrub that's kind of abbrassive. I like it that way though and Mom was in Heaven. I wouldn't recommend shaving prior to coming in, the scrub will most likely aggrivate it. No frills, no worries. Sit back and relax. Enjoy being a King or Queen at Fantastic Nails!Don't judge a book by it's cover, the salon may look small but the love, happiness and friendly energy is BIG. They did a great clean up job on me and beautiful polish job on my Mom.Top Three Things You Will NOT Find Here:- Loud chitter chatter spoken in another language with eyes directed back and forth at you which gives away the fact that you are being talked about... This is typical in nail salons but didn't happen here.- Over priced rates... I have been a client of Fantastic nails for over 5 years now and they are the best. They are all so happy and friendly when you walk in the door. They have a great flat panel tv and wonderful massage/heat chairs to sit in while you get a pedicure. I highly recommend this nail salon. The prices are very reasonable, too. Read Less

Fantastic Nails is a very good salon with excellent technicians.  They just installed brand new spa-chairs (with heat, massage, etc,). There is a large TV for viewing, plenty of magazines and the prices are reasonable.  It's not fancy, but cozy, easy parking, open on Sundays and is airconditioned.  Cash or check only. Read Less

I love Fantastic nails, I've been going for years.  Mimi usually takes care of me but Gwen does a great job too!  Mimi is the only one who has been able to cut my nails properly (so I don't get in-grown toe nails).  Their shop is small so you should make an appointment if possible. Read Less

I have been going to Fantastic Nails for over 4 years.  They changed ownership about 2 years ago, but the owner, Helen is really great.  This is not a fancy place, but they do a good job and are open on Sundays which I love.  The prices are fair and the service has always been friendly and clean.  They also have waxing services available.
