GHETTOOOOI used to love this place because it wasn't that pricey and busy all the time, it was very convenient and fast. The nails techs were cool and the owner was always nice and did a good job!But the area is so ghetto! I was waiting for my nails get done and this is what happened!!!!I was sitting down waiting in the waiting area minding my own damn business and a lady who looked cracked out starts mad dogging me from her pedi chair!She starts cussing at me saying something that I wanted her man, who was sitting next to me!!He looked like a bum!It escalated quickly and she swore that I was trying to F her BUM!I couldn't believe it and felt so threatened!She was just flipping out because I was sitting down probably coming down from all the crack!!!The nails lady's Knew me and didn't tell her ANYTHING!I always used to go there and would give them a lot of business and they didn't help me out? At least tell her to leave or calm down!!! Nothing.I didn't go to feel threatened and almost get jumped! Smh DONT COME HERE. SO GHETTO. Sad to say not coming to place any more . Made me and a friend wait over an hour for horrible looking nails . This place isn't about quality care or good customer service. They worry more about tips , since they had two lady's working on one girl while we were waiting for over an hour  and could of started one of us . To find out the reason why there was two lady's taking their time on one person is that the customer tipped them $20 each and the other lady tipped them $10. I have been getting manicures and pedicures at LA nails since 2004.  Each of the manicurists do a fantastic job. If you call a few minutes before you arrive they count it as an appointment. Even walk-ins don't have to wait that long for their service. I would highly recommend this place even though it's not fancy, it gets the job done at a reasonable price. Read Less

Took my mom and myself to get our nails done 2/27/2016, after being without artificial nails for 9+ years. I thought I knew Tina's work that's why we returned to LA nails. I'm sad to say that she was quite rude (one of the biggest reasons for ceasing to have our nails done over these past 9 years). Not only was she rude and yelling at me, as our nails began to grow out horribly, there was great build up around the cuticle area and our nails began to lift. We both needed our nails redone by the 1st week. I went and had mine filled 3/12/16.Had to pay a little more to get them in good shape but you get what you pay for. Thank you Tracy of Desert Nails & Spa. Tina, we were very disappointed in your work and you've lost two loyal customers. You've been doing nails for a long time, by the way you behaved 2/27/16, looks like it's time for you to retired, you can't talk to paying customers like that, you'll lose them. This place is the best I will not ever go anywhere else after a horrible experience at a different nail shop their is always a wait on weekends and its honestly worth the wait I recommend the European pedicure  you will not be disappointed!!! Read Less
