I was ready to give four stars for my specific service, a pedicure, but after hearing how demanding some customers are I had to bump my stars up to five. The man who did my nails did a really good job, I appreciate that he took his time and he did not rush. His attention to detail was great. If I could of given no stars I would. Horrible service. We sat there soaking in water for a pedicure for 30-45 mins. No one ever came to do the pedicure. People came in after and they were helped asap. We finally got out of the pedicure chairs and left. Plus I watch the lady use dirty tools on the other lady she was giving a pedicure too. She used the same tools she used on the previous client that were dirty just sitting in the old dirty water where she left them just 10 mins ago. Read Less

Northridge used to be OK. Nails lasted 2 and half weeks. 4 days ago, I had a fill. Since then 3 perfect nails lifted! Popped off, I reglued, they offered to fix, but should I have to pay them for their "BARE minimum" no. They should fix it for free. But they didn't. Be careful, they will use less and less primer as you go. Your first set will last almost 3 weeks.. Just to get you back in, then the remaining sets will have you running back for repairs, SCAM! I went today to Northridge nails, it was my first time & LAST TIME! Where do I begin! First off the guy that began working on my nails had no idea what I wanted & needed done, he took it upon himself to begin until I noticed he was not fulfilling my expectations. Second he got upset with me because I told him I need two new nails put on since two nails broke, he became annoyed and asked why! Really...I'm the customer! The women workers were loud, annoying & overly friendly in order to receive a decent tip. The women that did my pedicure was so unprofessional & had lack of work ethics. Worst nail place, she didn't even ask what type of nails I wanted, I showed her a picture of what I wanted to get and she said no . The finished product was horrible my fingers had nail polish all over them. Wow I'm truly disappointed I wasted 45 dollars on garbage. Never going back again very poor customer service !!!! I've been going to the same pedicure lady for almost 4 years(yes guys get pedicures too), because being a guy with ingrown toe nails she knew how to take care of them from hurting every time.A few months ago when I found out that she left the place on bad terms(the owner was an asshole), I knew it would be hard to find someone to replace her. To make a long story short, I ended up finding her at the mall while I was shopping.If you're looking for a good pedicure or just nails in general, ask for Ann shes there almost every day and she'll take care of you. I should of read the reviews before going to this place... My nails look awful.. It looks like my 1 year old did them. I had called to see how much for a gel manicure and he said $22 so I go in get them done and he tells me $25 and I told him you told me $22 he starts saying something about gel and I couldn't u first and him so I paid but didn't leave a tip.. I should have consulted Yelp ahead of time. My experience here was terrible. The guy man handled my feet and legs. I told him I have gel on my finger nails so that he could soak them while I was getting my pedicure. He said ok, I thought he understood me. But throughout my pedicure my nails sat unsoaked. I figured I will be there for a while now. When it cane time for my hands, he started with the machine. I pulled away as I do not have acrylic on my nails. I asked why aren't you soaking my nails?  He said its ok. I do for you. He did not understand me at all.  The gel didn't all come off and with the clear on my nails they looked crappy. No way was I going to put color as I originally wanted. The worst part was he took the tools that he used in me and just washed them with soap and water. Don't ever come here! Worst place ever! I got the worst gel manicure. It was sloppy and messy! The gel polish started coming off the next day and it usually last longer than that. I have cuts on my finger and it just looks horrible! The guy that did my nails decided to file them after he was done painting them which made it even worse! Do not waste your money or time here... Head on over tho chic nails they have better customer service and are great at their job that's were I usually go but since I was at the mall I gave this place a chance and I regret coming here! It's on and off. First time I went, they didn't clean up the cuticle area very well, so all five nails  started peeling the next day. By the next week, my gel nails were completely peeled off. But the second time I went, they lasted forever! Didn't peel one bit and it was perfectly done. This time, it is okay. Gross, gross gross!!!! Do not, by any means go here... I wish I could give it ZERO stars! I happen to be at Northridge Mall, doing a little after Christmas shopping. I was early, before most of the stores opened so I thought I would treat myself to a gel mani. I am usually pretty picky about where I go and would rather pay more for a spa-like experience but went ahead and went in here to kill some time. There was one guy in there, I picked my color and he started the manicure by soaking my nails then clipping my cuticles. I had a couple of ouch moments but didn't think to much of them. As he was finishing up that part I took a close look at his nails... What do you know... you could see the FUNGUS on his own nails. I was repulsed and went in the back to wash my hands, then I noticed the bleeding from my cuticles. I couldn't get out of there fast enough! I gave the guy $5 (I didn't want to deal with any drama) and high-tailed it out of there. Worse service ever! Went in barely got acknowledged, finally got sat some lady came put on my tips gave my thumb the wrong size it was digging into my skins so she got up and left then 5-7 mins later another lady came and finished my nails then I asked her to change my thumb nail size so she did. After she cut me and one of my shelliac nails is crooked!!!! Was rude the whole time didn't make any conversation didn't care at all!  Don't recommend it at all Read Less

Warning...Worst experience ever getting my nails done, and the friend I was with had it even worst. The man doing her nails was busy watching TV on his laptop the whole time! Her nails are a mess. Awful awful rude service, her arms and legs were left red swollen from the worse "massage" she ever received and we are actually concerned she will have bruises. It was 5 hours ago and she is still red!! Plus the paint job is awful needs to be repaired. I would give them zero stars if I could, I can't believe she paid for that! Never go there!
