Walk ins are not welcomed, apparently only when they feel like it. I'm sure they are nice and possibly do good service but when you get turned away before even seeing if they can or can't take us it's not very customer service oriented. Jess is such a doll! She took care of my dry cuticles & gave me such a lovely French gel manicure! I was initiallu embarrassed, but very amazed at the outcome..she is an angel! It was a little inconvenient since I'm in a wheelchair, but there is a smoother back entrance. I was directed to a separate room. Elki was wonderful. She listened to my problems with my feet. They were painful and inflamed. She soaked them in a foot soap in a lined pan. She exfoliated all the dead skin and cleaned my cuticles. She gently massaged my feet and legs. Everyone deserves to be pampered sometimes...especially when you haven't had a pedicure since you were 10-ish! I've had some manicures before, though, at places where the experience wasn't great so I was very selective in choosing where to come for a pedicure. (Also getting married in November, so I was also scouting out a place for the wedding mani/pedi). Lacquered did not let me down and in fact exceeded my expectations!The ambiance is charming, stylish and soothing and the shop is super clean. Erica did my pedicure today and wow - it was amazing! I got the essential, which includes the exfoliating scrub (majorly needed!) and massage. Get both, you won't regret it. I was also on the quiet side today, after a rough week previously, and Erica was very accommodating of that. This doesn't seem to be a shop where anyone would feel pressured to chat, so I appreciated that. What else to say? Loved the colors (of the walls and nail polish options), cushy chairs (pedicure and waiting area alike), option to have coffee, tea or water, Pandora playing in the shop (but at a reasonable volume), and the friendly yet relaxed customer service. Prices are also very reasonable in my opinion - previous experiences at other shops were not as good yet were the same price if not slightly more expensive.Can't wait to come back hopefully before the wedding for another pedicure, but if not before, then definitely for the wedding mani/pedi! I'm literally still in the chair finishing my pedi but couldn't wait to review! This place is everything it's cracked up to be. Chairs are comfortable, good nail polish selection, massage was great! They even make their own massage oil with shea butter and coconut oil which feels amazing. I was asked several times throughout my pedicure if everything felt ok and if my nails looked symmetrical! The polish color selection is dope, the seating is comfortable and big-booty friendly, they are *super* clean and I felt very confident about my pedicure as I watched them immediately clean the foot basins (lined with disposable plastic) after use, and the experience is very spa-bougie for a reasonable price. Went here to pamper myself for Mother's Day weekend. I absolutely loved it. I got a basic manicure and a spa pedicure. The prices are good and the service was great. They took their time to do my nails and the nail polish lasted for awhile, unlike other places where it immediately starts chipping and they charge a lot. Definitely will come back. Read Less

This is a beautiful salon with a wonderful calm vibe. Their lounge pedicure is AMAZING. I am always on my feet and work a ton so my legs got a much-needed massage. Erica did an amazing job. She really took the time and didn't rush. This is so important to me. I have been to many nail salons over the years and it's hard to find a business with this caliber of quality. First time customer at Lacquered and my experience was great! 4-stars only because they had the dryer going which was a bit loud and a nuisance to the ambience, but otherwise very pleased. I am visiting the area and did some research on a good nail salon and came across this place. Definitely make an appointment! I got an Essential mani w/ gel & an Essential pedi.Sabrina was great! Very friendly, ensured it was exactly what I wanted, and did not cut me! (Trust me, that is one of my biggest nail pet peeves!) If I am ever in the area again, will definitely make it back here! I found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I'm really picky about how my nails are done and its really hard to find a good, clean salon that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. The first time I went I saw Elvi and she was wonderful. My pedicure lasted more than a month without chipping. This time I couldn't schedule an appointment with Elvi that worked with my work schedule so I was skeptical about trying someone new. But I took a chance and made an appointment with Hannah. She is absolutely fabulous! She's sweet and friendly and my toes look great! She let me vent about my work day and I even fell asleep for a second while getting my pedicure. In a world where cheap-n-fast nail shops abound, this little gem is a nice contrast. My recent pedi there was so relaxing and the outcome was perfection. They use great products for their soak and scrubs, including house made butters to soften my old skin. Appointments are recommended and easily scheduled online via their website. I have loved Lacquered since my first visit a few months after they opened; I don't know how long ago, maybe four years. I go infrequently (3-4 times/year), as getting my pedicures is definitely a luxury. And yet, somehow, Nicole, one of the nail techs remembered me when I made my appointment. She recalled I was allergic to coconut and was concerned as they recently switched to a scrub with coconut. I am always prepared to do without because of my allergy but without a word, Nicole made me a custom scrub to avoid my allergies. How incredible is that?!?!? I wouldn't rely on someone to remember my allergies and neither should you. But if you have allergies you know how taken care of you feel when someone remembers them and takes the time to find an alternative.Erica did a great job on my toes too! Read Less

This gem tucked away in East Sacramento is the highest quality gem you can find.I was desperately looking for a nail salon that had excellent yelp reviews and that did not come off as a salon that was beautiful inside and out, and I found Lacquered. The salon itself is beautiful, and so relaxing. I was lucky enough to get my mani from the owner Jen, and she did a fabulous job. I spent the extra money to get a gel mani because I wash my hands so frequently that I needed something sturdy. I followed the mani with a pedi, and it was just a simple mini pedi and it was still so relaxing. All of the ladies here are just so nice its amazing. I couldnt ask for a better outcome.
