I came here for the first time today and I am so impressed! Lynn did my full set of acrylics with gel and a very cute design for only $35 which is great. She took her time to make sure each nail was perfect and even and they look amazing! It's definitely not in the best part of town but the salon is clean and nice inside with great air conditioning. I came here a couple weeks ago from North Carolina as I was visiting family in Sacramento. Needless to say my experience was so bad that even after I am home in North Carolina I still feel the need to share. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with eyes looking me and up and down and waited about 3 minutes before anyone said anything to me. Asked if they had an ATM because I would need to pull out cash afterwards to pay for my services. Was told $18 for a full set. They tried to charge for every little thing. $18 was the start price, another $5 for length, another $5 for shape, and another $3 for matte top coat. I had called before I came and asked if there was any additional fees like this and they said no. Fooled me. Wanted stiletto and left with some fingers stiletto and some ballerina and some just all crooked. The lady had an attitude when I asked her to sharpen them so that they actually look stiletto. Overall disappointed and when I come back to Sac I will be finding a new place. Read Less

I was desperate for a pedicure yesterday so was thrilled to snag a last minute appointment here. The vibe is very friendly - and the pedicure was great (and I am very picky about pedicures). They use stainless steel foot baths which means they can be properly sterilized, and from what I saw carry the CND nail lines - vinylux and shellac colours. Great spot! Read Less

However, when I got  here, they ended up having a few more walk ins. Because I had to wait, they set me up with a free pedicure! Was my first time visiting here and it definitely won't be my last! Lynn is incredibly hospitable and made me feel welcomed! She's precise and cares about your nails as much as you do. Came in for a nail removal and ended up deciding I wanted a new set (I'm addicted to having my nails done lol) and Lynn took them off with ease and was painless and did a great job with my new set and constantly asked me if everything looked good and if I wanted anything changed just to let her know. Most technicians I've been to don't care to ask and if you say something they usually are unhappy, definitely not the case with Lynn, which was refreshing and I felt comfortable talking to her despite the language barrier between us. Tom and Lynn are so friendly and I enjoyed the few times I went. I'm always wanting the "pinterest" designs that are unique and uncommon. I figure if I'm going to spend $50+ I would like something I'm not able to do myself. Unfortuantely, Tom and Lynn both stated that they do not have the supplies and knowledge of doing certain designs. Therefore, I just bought the supplies off ebay and I now just do my own nails. Wanted to find an affordable place to get my nails done and this place did not disappoint. The owners really listen to what their customers want and I love the way my nails look after I get them done. It is a small salon and not the fanciest but it's a nice place for a college student like myself. I highly recommend calling in and asking for prices and to make an appointment. I stopped coming here because they switched owners last year, but my sister stopped by last month and told me they have new people so decided to give it a try! Tom and Lynn are awesome. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and attentive. I brought a picture in for my wedding and they both made sure my nails came out just like the picture. I found Vicky through a friend who raves about her and have always loved my gfs nails. I gave Vicky a shot considering I always do my own gel nails at home which lasts for over two weeks. I just didn't have the time and patience anymore. Vicky listens to everything that I want, as I am very picky with my nails. Too long, too short, too thick etc. Her work is great and she is very gentle and takes her time unlike other nail salons I've been to, not to mention the great prices!
