Long post to follow: This makes me so sad to have to do... i have been a loyal customer for about 2 years now. I have gotten my eyelashes done there, my eyebrows and nails. I brag about how fantastic it is and how I finally found “MY” place. Well sadly that has ended. Two days before my wedding I went in with my girls to get all pampered. My eyelashes took over an hour which isn’t unusual but she kept leaving to do one her things. When I came out half the girls were almost d…one, they sat me by myself and not with everyone. They waited to do my nails last so I sat with remover on my dip for an hour which cause my skin to begin to peel off. After that they proceeded to tell us it’s extra to shape and to do glitter that has NEVER been a thing since I’ve been going there. My eyelashes were put on so thick I had to rip them off the next day so it was a waste of money. We paid and my card got declined so I ran next door to get cash and got asked when I came back “why exactly was your card declined” not sure why that’s anyone’s business.... we paid and when I turned around they were shoving coats in our faces and herding us out the door when they were open for another hour. I have been going to the salon since it opened and Stacy has been doing my nails. I used to go to a competitor and was dissatisfied with the service I received at that salon so decided to give Luxury nails a try. I have to say I have been nothing but happy with the choice to use luxury nails. They offer great services and options and I never have issues. Love the new dip powder and highly recommend it. The best salon in Waukee! I’ve been coming here for three years and I’m so happy with them I’ll never go anywhere else. Stacey puts her heart and soul into the shop and you can tell by the way she treats her customers. Appointments are appreciated but walk-ins are promptly serviced every time I’ve been there. I get my nails done with a full manicure, pedicures (with lots of options) and facial waxing. They offer other services that I have not tried yet. Every spring when I come back from winter travels she has upgraded and added new things to her shop. I recommend this place hands down, literally, to everyone! Read Less

Love Luxury Nails. I get the dipping and my nails never chip or break. It' a great place for girls get together. Have a mani/pedi, glass of wine and sit back and enjoy. We meet every 2 weeks (whether we need it or not!). Stacee and Tiffany are great. Tiffany even gave me a pedi when I had a broken toe! Highly recommend, immaculate, friendly, great for kids also. Made appointments for myself, sister, mother, niece and daughter. Seemed a bit like they would say "yes" to anyone that asked for anything even though everyone was VERY busy. I got one tip on one hand before my tech got up to work 5-10 minutes on someone else's nails. My mother was told to remove her dip polish and ended up cleaning her nails herself. Her dip turned out nicely however. My sister and I's shellac wasn't dry and my accent finger has a sort of strange matte effect happening. I give a third star only bc the staff them selves were polite but very quite. And spoke 80% of the time to each other m, in a language I can't understand, that alone can be intimidating. All in all we spent a little over $200 today plus tips, but we won't be back. Read Less

This is a great place to get nails/lashes done. Ive been going here for over 2 years. If ever I was not 100% satisfied Stacy (the manager) has been extremely obliging and courteous. They want happy customers. I always have a great time while there. The staff are great. If there was an unkind word from a staff member they were quickly let go. Stacy only wants the finest staff. Ive never waited in the lounge area more than 1 minute before being taken to a seat when I have an appointment. I have never waited more than 5 minutes when I walk-in without an appointment. I bought my mother a gift certificate for her birthday to this salon since it's local. She only gets her toes painted. $10 charge for that service. My mother tipped the young man (dark haired with gray highlights) a $3 tip. He had the audacity to ask my mother "oh, you're not rich today." I don't know if you know simple math but $3 is more than 20% on a $10 service. I've never been to a nail salon that makes such rude comments. I was a regular at this salon and you can keep the remaining amount of money on the certificate because we won't be coming back. I'll be going down the road to Polished Nails where they are respectful to their customers. Poor customer service and very poor manners toward a paying customer. Read Less

Worst manicure ever. The guy was more interested in watching TV, asked for French manicure, applied top coat too quickly so white tip peeling off within hours of leaving. Don't waste your money there. Too hi priced and to rushed. ( I was the only customer in the place) Read Less
