Absolutely the worst pedicure I've had in my entire life. The ladies kept rushing me over and over again to sit down and pick my color. My boyfriend paid $45 for my pedicure and they DIDNT even massage me. All they did was cut and paint my nails. I won't ever come back. Read Less

My daughter and I went to get pedicures today at 4:30pm for her birthday. Employees were coming in and out of the store while we were parking..we checked to make sure that the door said they closed at 7pm (which it did) as we were about to walk in an employee walked in front of us and said "we closed, you can come back tomorrow" .....we left and will never go back again. Very rude, and if your hours change (a two and a half hour difference from what their door says) maybe you should change your hours on your door. Read Less

Everyone is very nice but the eyelash extensions are not. It was actually very painful and the glue she was using even got in my eyebrows and I can't even get it out. I asked for a natural look but I got a crazy look instead. Within 20 minutes of leaving I already had lashes falling out and even had 2 fall into my eye which was very very painful. I went in for a pedicure, made an appointment and all. A definite plus for me is that the smell inside was pleasant and did not reek like other nail salons often do. Customer service was good but the quality or precision of my pedicure was subpar. One nail was cut crooked and my big toes did not match in the shade, it definitely looked like one had three vs two layers of polish on. When I asked my nail technician if she used two layers of polish, she said oh yeah two layers. I walked out a little disappointed that this nail salon that's close to my house will not be my go-to salon. If I can do my own nails better myself, that says something about the so called nail professionals who cannot seem to keep the hues on the nails matching. I went a few days ago to get a full set gel acrylic. After I told the lady what I wanted she went on to tell me it would be $30 so we continued. Once everything was done I get up to pay and she tells me it would be $40!! How does $30 turn to $40?!!! I was in a hurry so I had no time to argue but definitely didn't leave a tip. Helpful and friendly staff, and a fantastic basic pedicure! I loved the hot stone work, the massage chairs, the heated neck wrap, and the quality of pedicure. Lots of selection for colors and other services. It's no wonder this place has so many people walking in to get the nail staff nails done. I walked in here today for a mani/pedi. The place was busy but they got me in for my pedicure within a reasonable amount of time. The place looks clean. While I was waiting I was able to sit in the massage chair soaking my feet which was nice. There are several different options for pedicure. I chose deluxe pedicure which included nice smelling scrub, mask, hot stone massage and paraffin wax. The pedicure was well done but I would prefer a regular massage over stone massage. To add gel polish it is $15, a little steep, but I was treating myself. The pedicure would be 5 stars and I'll definitely be back for another pedicure when I want a treat. The manicure would get zero stars so I had to take away stars from the overall rating. They have different options for manicure as well but the lady never asked which one I wanted. She just filed my nails, clipped my cuticles and dipped my fingers in cold water. It didn't even take her 10 minutes...I can't have color on my nails for my job but I guess if I had got a polish it might have made up for it...maybe? Anyway I got charged $15 for the manicure which definitely was not worth it. Also, on a side note I tried to come in at 9:30 am which is when it says it opens on the door but there was no one there so I had to come back later.Overall, not a place I would visit frequently because it's too expensive but a nice occasional treat. I come Orchid nails Spa about once every month or two and the service is always great. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. Being by the seawall, I was impressed on how clean the salon was. Came in for a walk in pedicure and was immediately served! Four or five different options for the pedicure, I chose the #3 Deluxe one and it was amazing!! They took us in right away so that was good. I didn't like the fact that they rushed and for manicures they didn't massage or put any lotion on my hands. I also had air bubbles, I think it was because she didn't wait long enough in between applying the coats. If it wasn't rushed then the service would have been better. Today, I wanted to try somewhere different. I live in Antelope, so it's only 15-20 min drive. Scrolling down yelp, decided to give this place a try and not happy with the outcome! There was 4 ladies, and ONLY ONE of them were doing nails! As the lady doing my nails, she asked if I picked the color, I said no and she said take your time. 10 mins later she asks again, and I said not yet and a customer walks in and she says, hurry up! I'm so picky with my nails, so I wanted to make sure I'm getting a cute color. My nails came out bumpy, and not even straight! I paid $35, guess it's my fault for trying to go somewhere new. The ladies here are friendly I was promptly seated for my pedicure. I picked the quick pedicure which lasted about 20 minutes. The lady who worked on me took her time with the whole process from the massage to neatly applying the polish on my toes. I been to places where I'm rushed or they didn't do a good job because I picked the cheapest service, so I was surprised when she took her time granted they weren't busy at all....but still great service for just a $20 pedicure. I've been going to Orchid for two months now and have waited to write my review. I have to say they provide an above average service that has been consistent and their prices seriously rival other Roseville salons. I've noticed that my color/polish last way longer compared to another salon I've been to. I've got compliments on my nails and even a coworker was impress with how long the polish stayed without chipping. I hope I'm not jinxing myself here. They were good at first. And very nice shape and color. (I got a full set of acrylics with gel) 2 days later while folding laundry a nail broke off. One week later they are all off.
