3 stars for the first visit, which was great! It was Mother's Day and the staff were all very nice, attentive, sociable, asked questions about manicure and pedicure preferences, and did a great job on my nails. They even offered free drinks (including champagne) and a rose for each mom there, hand delivered by the owner's adorable young son. In retrospect, perhaps all the pleasantries were a result of the holiday, and that was it, because a little over a month later, I had a very different experience. I arrived early, was asked to pick a color and take a seat in one of the front pedicure chairs. As I looked at the colors and headed to the designated chair, I was told by another employee to go to a different seat, no biggie. I got seated and one lady began working on my feet. Throughout the pedicure, she never spoke to me, other than confirming my color selection and asking if the water was OK - she didn't ask if I needed a nail trim, if the stones were too hot, if I liked the color, etc. She proceeded to put about 4 coats of color on my toes, which made it darker and darker each time, and kept getting it on my toes. I know that even when you get matching toe polish for nail gel polish that it won't be exact, but it's usually pretty close. You can see in my pic it's not nearly close, she didn't clean the excess polish very well, and the 4 coats resulted in a messy paint job, with visible dark lines. As she started on my feet, another lady came up to check my hands. She began putting polish remover and foil on my right hand. At the same time, my husband texted me with a question about our 2 year old, so I hurried to reply (with my left hand, and I'm right-handed) because I knew she'd be needing that hand soon. As I was about done replying, the lady said she was going to need my left hand soon, and I told her "ok, no problem, I'm just checking on my daughter and I'll be done in a second." She then left, at that moment, saying she'd be back when I was ready, and started on someone else's feet. She no sooner walked away when I was done CHECKING ON MY CHILD and I tried to get her attention, but she only looked over once, 20 minutes later, and never came back. Once the other lady was done with my feet, she had me move to her own nail station, and started working on my left hand. I asked if she'd start with my right, since I'd had polish remover soaking my nails for half an hour, but she pointed to my left hand and said "this one." I told her I wasn't comfortable having polish remover on my nails that long, but she ignored me. My nails turned out fine, thankfully, but the whole experience made me feel like I was just an inconvenience to them and not a customer. I won't be back. Read Less
