I would not come here again because they do not have alot of color options, Also she does very poor work just less than a week my nails are starting to pop off as if they were not glued on properly! I was rudely spoken to and almost ignored when I went into the shop last week. They first just looked at me and then asked what I wanted.  I said I wanted  manicure /pedicure. She said "I am busy". Traveling is so hard, especially when it comes to cosmetics, hair, nails, etc...i like what i'm used to. But my nails needed done, and Nancy's had great reviews, and now i see why. Nancy does great gel nails. She takes her time and wants to make her customers happy. I'm always satisfied with my nails after I get gel nails from Nancy. They always last at least three weeks before they start to chip or peel. I haven't gone in months because it can get expensive over time. I will definitely  go back to Nancy when I want gel nails. Had the roughest most painful pedicure of my life there a few days ago. It took over an hour for a basic pedicure (no fancy polish designs or French, just one all over color) because the man working on my feet was trying to do my pedicure and another woman's pedicure at the same time.  It seemed rushed and yet took forever and I was unhappy with the results. I had to go home and reshape a few nails with an Emory board because he had shaped them really weird. I also had to remove some polish from the skin around my nail beds. He was so rough I thought for sure he had drawn blood a couple times. I don't plan on going back ever. Read Less

I don't have the prettiest feet to begin with but this place really botched my toes!  Unbelievably horrible!!! Whoever the woman was who did my toes took it upon herself to clip my nails as far as they would go. I'm use to being asked if I want my toes nails short, clipped or simply filed.  I didn't have a choice in this case.  My feet were scrubbed dry, who does that? !? Painful!!! The end result was as if a child polished my toes. I had to address the fact that there was polish on my skin around my toe nails. Even then she hardly fixed it.  All I have to say is I've never had such a bad experience at a nail salon in the 35 years of my life! When paying she actually had the nerve to tell me "next time tell me not to cut too short." Uhhh yea there will be NO next time!!!!P.s. the photo does too much justice for this salon.  My feet look hideous in person! Never again. Money down the drain. Read Less

Nancy!!!! On a visit from LA I needed a S.O.S on the toes. They were able to accommodate two pedis without issue. Now it had been at least two months since my last ped, she brought my feet back to life. So happy I found this little spot. The service was great. Next time I am visiting I will be sure to return. I've been coming to Nancy's Nails for years.   It's true they don't do so well with appointments, so I usually call the day of and ask what time I should come in. They do great work here and very reasonably priced. I usually ask for no polish on my fingernails when I get a manicure, I'm too active for that to last, but Nancy can buff my nails to the shiniest finish! It looks like I have clear polish on. I used to go to Nancy's every two weeks for a gel manicure & a pedicure. The pros: they have great massage chairs for pedicures and "waiting" chairs; gel manicure is only $25; OPI polishes; very friendly!The cons: they never turn away walk-ins, so even if you have an appointment, you will end up spending close to 2.5 hours or more. My best advice is to make an appointment for 930a right when they open..better chances you will be in and out in a reasonable amount of  time and get the best of their services. I tried this shop out twice. The first time was good enough to come back but the second time made sure wouldn't be returning. Nancy does a good job prepping nails and applying gel so that it lasts a long time. My issue was with the gentleman who I worked with the second time I went. I called ahead to see if they had time for taking of gels, a pedi and new gels. They said yes and gave me a time. I showed up about half an hour early figuring is wait til my appointment time but they put me in a pedi chair right away. The pedi was fine - pretty standard, although every time simeone walked in the door, they seated them right away.  When my pedi was almost done, there was only one chair left and a woman walked in the door saying she had an appointment for her and two friends but they had just seated two other women so the party of 3 with appointments was going to have to wait.  When the man remove the gels after soaking, he used his thumbnail instead of the cuticle pusher that everyone else uses. Once clean, I went back over to Nancy. I repeatedly asked her not to shape my nails with the coarse file but she did anyway. At least the man listened to me and didn't file. To top it all off, because there were only 2 people working and while I was there they served 5 people (not including the party of 3) it took 2 1/2 hours for a mani-pedi. I won't be returning. I used to be a regular at Nancy's until I asked for a French shellac manicure. Nancy didn't have the right white polish, but tried to do it anyways and it ran and needed to be completely removed. It takes a while to get the shellac off and I ended up wasting two hours there. Nancy still charged me full price. I've also waited many times when I made appointments because they don't turn anyone away. There is no point in making appointments. I've found a new nail salon that has more employees. Read Less

Nancy rocked my socks off!It used to be that LA was THE place to get a mani/pedi for the main reason that every where else in the country it was so over priced, especially compared to the price our Nor-Cal neighbors had to pay. So the SF fam would wait till they got to town to get their ablutions done. I remember when it cost them $25.00 and us LA peeps $11.00 for our beloved pedicures. It seems like our LA prices started going up and just haven't stopped while there prices stay the same.On the weekend that I was supposed to be getting ready for our big trip to topical lands, I had a family tragedy and had to make a last minute trip up north to be with the rest of the family. When it was time to go home I knew that if I didn't stop to get my mani/pedi NOW it would be too late by the time we got home and I would in no way be able to get it done during my overly worked week before vacation.But who does just a regular manicure anymore!?! Pppssshht please, right! Now-a-days if I do get a manicure it's going to be with gel nail polish or else the manicure is pointless and will have a hundred chips in the paint the next day. With gels, the manicure is a little more money, but way worth it because my manicure has lasted up to three whole weeks for me. I had a wonderful experience at Nancy's for so many reasons. The only gel nail polish that I had ever tried is that one that comes in the white bottle with that little tiny whole to see the actual color that the polish really is. Even my first gel experience was that same polish. When Nancy told me to pick a color I right away went straight for the white bottles. She said "Nooooo OPI make gel. It better." And we all know that OPI has amazing nail polish colors. I got super excited!Then Nancy told me that I could pick a gel color and that she had the matching polish that could be used for my pedicure!!!!! How awesome is that! Happy perfectionist right here :)Of course the color that I choose was hiding an took them a little longer to find, but they were very nice and persistent and didn't get up and that was really nice of them.The salon was quaint but super clean, modern and Nancy made me feel very comfortable. She was so nice that when the BF came inside from the cold she let him sit in one of their full body massage chairs and offered him water as well.  She did a great job and I was very satisfied. I've told all of my family that lives in the area to go to her. And at $25.00 for a gel manicure compared to the $35.00 one that I just paid for while sitting right now to Shakira on Melrose Ave., I   was wishing I was at Nancy's.xx Read Less

Nancy's is awesome! I'm still searching for a nail place that can compete with Shiny Nails in RWC, but this is the best I've been to in Sonoma County so far. Nancy is so sweet and has been there every time I've gone. She did a great job on my shellac manicure and said she'd even fix any chipped nails for free. Only complain is the massage on the pedicure, could have been longer. Oh also! They have the best massage chairs, seriously and the massage chairs they put you in while your nails are drying are even better! Calf massage? Yes please! Read Less

Nancy & Randy are very professional & friendly! Their prices are the best in town! Nancy is very patient & does an excellent job on shellac manicures. I never feel rushed & have even been there after closing. She makes sure my nails look perfect & has even fixed them at no charge after I ruined them a week later. I've been going here for the past 5 years and they always do a fantastic job. They're not expensive either!! I just got a pedicure today and looks fantastic! For $18 it was steal, being that you get to relax in a massage chair while your toes are in the lovely spa. I've gotten manicures as well as acrylics and gel sets & they always turn out perfect. I HATED IT!! the worst place i've ever gone. me and my friend got a french pedicure and each toe looked different. i asked for a flower a she gave me animal print, i then told her i didn't like it and she said i should just do no flower. this place is the best place ever.i noticed that the have a remodle place.i love the soothing green color so relaxing.they have the best workers.KIM and DANNY knows how to do everything.mostly beautiful pink and white.once you get it u feel like u are very pretty and beautiful. i want you guys to know that they are the best place i been before. one time i went to this place that they did not know how to do pink and white. they forced me to do something else, but elite nails saved the day they knew what to do and got right on it .when i was finshed i loved my nails. i will tell everyone i know to come here and the people that read this review. i know you people don't like stuff costing to much but ELITE NAILS does cost a lot but is worth for what other place can't do but ELITE NAILS can do .They have this 10 year old girl that take care you until u r relaxing. her name is lili.i love her she has a lot of sense of humor.
