This is the only nail salon I will ever go to. I have tried a lot if salons before and Pacific Nails is the best by far. I drive 40 minutes just to get my nails done. Not only do they do a great job, my nails last longer than anywhere else, but its also how they remove the acrylic. I have acrylics because I work a lot with my hands and my nails get bridle and chip easily off. What I dreaded the most every time I went to a nail salon is how they rip off the old acrylic. It always felt as if they're ripping my entire nail off with it and the new acrylic hurt for a day. The ladies at pacific nails are very gentle and use a machine to even out the old acrylic and refill the nail with new one. It feels as if my nails are getting stronger plus the acrylic last longer too. At my pedicure they were the only salon who really got all of my cuticles and cut all the excess skin around my toes. The price is awesome too and the staff very friendly. They have a personal relationship with their customers and remember each and every one. Even after months. My husband was getting a haircut at Barber Sam's next door, so I figured it'd be a good time to get my toenails fixed up.  Walked into Pacific Nails and was able to immediately get a pedicure.  I like this place!  It's clean, the ladies do a good job, and they're friendly and calm.  I hate those nail salons were you can sense a negativity in the atmosphere.  These ladies just had a peaceful demeanor which was very relaxing.They have a nice leather couch area for people who are waiting too.They also do waxing here, so after my pedicure (along with the free chair massage), I was able to get my eyebrows cleaned up too.  They have lots of nail polish colors to choose from (mainly OPI brands, which is great), and I like how they put Hello Kitty tape on some of their bottles too.  Super cute.Laura did a great job and I look forward to coming back again.  FYI they are closed on Sundays. NEVER NEVER go here! I went in to have a pedicure and my nails filled. I ended up leaving and going directly to another salon and having to have another full set put on. Stephen did my nails and they were disgusting! I told him I was not satisfied. I wish I could post pictures. He actually left dirt from where my nails had grown out on my nails and just went over the top of it. My nails were lifting right away. They were uneven and it looked like a two-year-old did them. As far as my pedicure goes, the girl was very unfriendly, my toe nail polish was all chunky, and the worst thing of all was that she clipped the edges of my toenails which is a huge No-No! This can cause very bad ingrown toenails and infections. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and any other place that I can. Fair warning! Stay away from this place. Read Less

I've come to this nail salon four times now and every time it's been excellent!!! I've always just asked for the $15 pedicure and have been in the chair for about an hour. The massages have been amazing and the most noticeable thing is that the employees here are all professional. They don't talk among themselves while the pedicure is taking place, and they don't chit chat with me either, which I very much appreciate since I'm enjoying this incredible experience. The artists here are always timely, professional, and their work is high quality. I enjoy the environment and the furnishing makes for a pleasant experience. They offer tons of gel colors to choose from, as well as a variety of pedicure packages ranging in price and extent of service.I've actually brought both my dad and my boyfriend here to try getting pedicures and the artists made them feel comfortable. I always go to Laura for my full fiberglass set. She does a great job. I've had her do many designs for me, as well as many different types of glitter gel tips, they always last about three weeks before I get a fill. I haven't been in a couple months just because I've moved a lotto further away, but if I'm getting my nails done I always make the trip to see Laura. She has these cute little charms that have lots of rhinestones and she always hooks me up with the bling! She knows I love glitter. I've had many pedicures here also by basically everyone who works here, I always get the basic pedicure but it is amazing every time! Girl I met at Yelp party who complimented my nails: "But I can never get my nails done, because I'm a checker, so there's no point."Me: No, that's what I said too! I'm a waitress so there's basically no point to doing my nails at all. I hadn't had them done for over ten years. But then I noticed that one of my coworkers had the most perfect nails I had ever seen, so I was like, "Where did you get your nails done?" "Pacific Nails in Rocklin.""Don't you feel like they come off fast when you're bussing tables?""No, actually, I've had these on for three weeks already.""No way.""Yes. Way."I suddenly oddly feel like I'm writing a commercial for Pacific Nails or something.Well, my very first experience here was actually horrible, but I gave them a chance to fix it, and they did. I had my nails done by a man who sat on the end near the window, and all I can say is he did the worst job ever. I waited a whole week before finally coming back in to ask them to fix them just because I was short on time that week.Specifically, I felt that my nails looked very poofy and fake, almost every single one was crooked, and they were not filled to anywhere near the cuticle, so how are they supposed to look good for long? When you're paying this much for nails, they should definitely last as long as possible. I actually brought these things up at the time he was doing my nails, but he kept saying, "No, I don't want to grind more, hurt you." That didn't even make sense because he was hurting me so much anyways. He got a pretty decent amount of blood out of me. It was just horrible. It would have been a one-star rating. In the end, since I had to have them redone so fast, I ended up getting ground way, way more. Ouch. I could feel the acid burn from the primer for a whole day. My coworker had told me to ask for Laura this time. Laura told me to have a seat, and he'll be right over to fix my nails. I didn't want to be rude, but I had to ask if I could have someone else do them instead, because I didn't like his work at all. So she ended up fixing them for me, and she seemed kind of irritated, but I would probably be irritated too if I had to fix work that my coworker got paid for, and I'm guessing this wasn't the first time this has happened. After she fixed my nails, they looked a hundred times better. Several of my coworkers even noticed how much better they looked from one day to the next. I had them on for seven weeks before getting them filled.When I came to get them filled, I called ahead to ask for Laura. This time she was in a happy mood and was super friendly. She was totally cool with the fact that I basically made up my own design. She laughed and said, "It's a new design." I feel like she tried hard not to hurt me-- as opposed to the man, who had hurt literally every single one of my nails. So what I'm saying is that I'm recommending Laura specifically more than I'm recommending this whole establishment. Laura was so proud of her work that she asked to take a picture of my nails. It always feels like a compliment and an honor to be part of someone's portfolio, so I was totally down. Also, the work was totally worthy of a photo. She got the fill all the way up to my cuticles, and left some of the glitter from the last job showing under part of it so it was like they faded from pink to glitter to pink sequins. Then she took the time to put an upside-down silver sequin on every single nail. What I love so much about her work is that she gets the nails so close to the shape of your natural nail that they kind of look real, and that also makes them adhere better and stay on for so much longer. I went in for an eyebrow wax, which was very good. I ended up getting talked into a pedicure and I was happy with that. Diana did a very good job. The only reason I rated this less than 4 stars, is at the end of the services I was told there was a $1 admission fee......WHAT?! Is this some exclusive nail salon I just walked into? I don't care about the $1 it just seems so strange that the roads of Rocklin have a nail salon on every corner and I pick one with an admission fee? Read Less

I took my mother there for her birthday and purchased gel manicures & spa pedicures for my mom, sister, and I. All three of our gel manicures chipped/cracked/became discolored (black) within three days. We went back to redo them just in case we had somehow received a  bad polish set. It was nice of them to redo them for free, but the owner told us not to come back if they became chipped again. We changed our colors thinking it would last longer this time around. However, the gel polish started to crack and become discolored within three days, once again. I am very disappointed in this gel manicure, as I was really looking forward to having my polish last. The only good part of the experience was the pedicure because the massage was nice. I felt the whole experienced was rushed. Definitely not going back there again. Read Less

We had come in the day before for a gel manicure and by the next day it had chipped. We came in expecting for them to be understanding and fix it but no. My sister showed them the picture of what she wanted and this is nothing like it. When she asked to add a new coat of glitter because the two coats he had put on we're very sheer he gave her attitude and he said no. The feather is awful the glitter looks terrible and on top of that they charged us even more for the feather design even though the previous nails she had on before had had a design. We paid $45 total which is the most ridiculous and most absurd thing I have ever experienced in any salon I will never come here again. Read Less

Just waisted the last 2 hours of my life... Went in for a simple gel manicure and wanted to add glitter to it. Durning the process it was obvious the manicurist was not capable of this. My nails looked so horrible it looked like a child had done them.  I let her know that I was not happy with them and she attempted to fix it.... But it just got worse as time went on. She finally gave up and told me I needed to pick a solid color.So I picked out a new color which she informed me was not a good color. So I picked out a 3rd color. She filed my nails so much she made me bleed and then proceeded to spray alcohol on them... Which was pretty painful.... BAD BAD BAD Don't waste your time or money!!! Read Less

It's a great value, for $25 with one of the best massages I've ever received. They had a large color paint choice and did a cool design on my big toes for an extra $5. Laura did my nails pink and white powder..they were shaped perfectly and even as far as the white was not to wide. They last about a month between visits and Laura was very nice. $30 well spent! I will be a regular at this nail salon...after moving here and needing to find a new nail salon, visiting a few HORRIBLE salons, Pacific nails is now my new nail salon!!
