the lady that did my pedicure was in a rush. only 2 people working and it put the pressure on apparently because she rushed through it. i chose the 25 dollar pedicure and it felt more so like a 10 dollar value. she cut my 2nd and 3rd toe too short and crooked. never coming again. worst service of my whole life. The nail techs do some quality work here. I don't know why a lot of past reviews are bad. As far as being  understaffed, I think there might be a rush once in a while but for the most part it doesn't get too crowded so the number of techs available is fine. Pricing is actually very reasonable. I get gels over acrylics which cost way more at other places. They were also very careful about cleaning all the gunk out under my nails and making sure my nails didn't stick to my fingers underneath. I have had some bad experiences at other places in the past so I was really happy with how my nails turned out here. My nails beds are kind of strangely sized but they were very careful about making sure they had the correct sized nails glued to my fingers. My pinky nail is really small and other places often just put nails that are too big over it or cut a nail too small but here they were able to cut the nail to just the right size so it doesn't hurt my finger to do daily activities. I went in with an appointment to have a fill done. The women took my polish off and as another customer walked in she said to me "I can't finish; my favorite customer just walked in. I was astounded and walked out with no polish. I then saw a sign for Lucky Nails just down the street, went in without an appointment and have been there three times now for a fill and for a pedicure. Brand new everything, nice friendly people who actually talk to you the whole time and in English as well. I will NEVER go to Ivy nails again. Pretty poor service and high prices as well. Friendly place with 2 employees I'm assuming the owners both are very nice. However this place is too expensive for the quality of work, they should reconsider their pricing. The differences in pedicure types are significant in costs but not in services offered. In other salons the basic pedicure includes what this salon offers in their more expensive pedicures. Been here twice due to how close to home it is and being new to the area,but every time I pay the bill I regret it. I recommend to shop around before making this your go to salon. Read Less

When you walk in and see 2 people, the only 2 people in the salon, ever.. That's not a good sign. Sat in a pedi chair for about 2 mins- she was so rude and wiped her nose on her hand/arm then started my pedi without washing her hands, no gloves!! REALLY? She had ZERO interest in doing a pedicure. First time at this place, and it was great. Only 2 people working, but they were efficient and friendly. Let us sit in the pedicure chairs and wait, but didn't turn on my sisters water, until 40 mins later or so, which was weird. Good prices and my feet look great. Wow!!!!! Would most DEFINITELY give less than one star if I could. I had a nightmare and a half here! I was about to make this place my new spot to get my nails done, it had been about my fourth time going. When the man was filing my toes, he tried to put me at a mani table and take my leg from underneath to prop my foot on his knee. I explained this was uncomfortable several times before he actually understood. When he moved me to the actual pedi spot, he was filing my toes so roughly that he actually made the tip of my big toe bleed! He took the skin off! It doesn't even end there, as he was giving me an acrylic manicure, after he was done cutting it shorter, I guess he didn't anticipate for it to dry too fast and when he adjusted my hand a very small sliver of it got stuck in the palm of my hand. I told him but he said "no worry". Little did I know my palm would be aching the next day trying to reject the piece of acrylic in my palm. Super ouch. At the end of it, I didn't even get a discount! I was in a huge hurry and didn't have time to get a mani/pedi so just opted for a toe polish change. As soon as he realized that was all I was getting his demeanor quickly changed. At the end he told me it would be $8-, I pulled out my card to pay and he told me there was a $15 minimum for using my card. He stood there and watched me scrambling around for cash, I asked if they accepted checks he said no. It was clear he wanted to charge me nearly double the price of my service simply for using my card. I have been a customer for about 5 years now.  Lynn and Anthony are a family shop and treat all of their customers with the utmost courtesy including the "hard to please" customers.  I have always found Lynn and Anthony both great for mani's, gel nails and pedicures.  Foot massages are great and prices are reasonable.  They also always try to work you in, even without an appointment which in my case is almost all the time because of my work schedule.  I never feel like a "number" here - always very personal. I come here frequently now.  I finally found a nail salon that I enjoy coming back to every month.  No long waits, reasonable price and not too busy which I love compare to other nail salons out here in Rocklin.  I love Lyn who does my nails.  She is Awesome!  She shapes and does my nails how I want them and does a fabulous job with designs. I had been a customer for almost two years. Until Anthony, the owner, started waaay overcharging me. Last pedicure he charged me $40.00. Today I went in for a full set of gels and he charged me SIXTY dollars! That's right $60!!! On top of that he hacked me and doesn't know how to be gentle. My nails hurt, he cut me and he doesn't even do a good job anymore.Talked to some people at Cal Sun next door & they've been getting a lot of complaints about this place.
