8 years of going to this place... I LOVE it!!! Cindy's my nail lady, and nick is my foot guy, but all treat me and my family like their family. I get what I want with my nails... And I'm super fancy with them, every nail different than the next finger . I know I'm a difficult customer, but she makes me happy EVERY TIME! I had a great experience here! I was a walk in, and even though they were pretty booked they found time for me quickly. My manicurist Mike was excellent, both in skill and personality. He did a great job on my nails and was friendly to talk to. Tammy also did a fabulous job on my pedicure! One thing that set this place apart to me was seeing how all the employees seemed to be friends with the clients. This place is so great! Totally worth the drive! They have an actual nail artist there who can do pretty much anything you want. I have paid the same price for nails that weren't even how I wanted. The atmosphere is lovely compared to a lot of other typical nail salons and the staff is very friendly - they are family owned. They do high quality work compared to other nail salons. This salon is by far the BEST place to get your nails done!  Fashion nails in Rocklin is inviting, clean and beautiful!  The technicians were absolutely on point and they didn't even bat an eye at my "dragon claws!" Pros: Variety of colors, nail artist tried to make me happy, pretty interior  Cons: Several1) They told me $25 for a manicure gel and charged $35 (really professional) 2) The took 3 other people before me, when I had a booked appointment days in advance 3) Receptionist was pretty rude. Called on a Monday and got in Thursday (when I wanted:) for a full set with nail art and a pedicure.  For what I got, the price was amazing and Cindy was really sweet and Mike is an absolute artist, very talented.  I have never found a place that can actually do good nail art.  You can totally trust Mike's judgement and creativity.  Give him an idea and just let him do the rest! My new go to nail salon! I came here after I had gone to La Belle nails for their amazing nail art, little did I know Fashion Nails is just as creative until a coworker referred me here. I saw Cindy to fix my messy nails that were off on the shade of nude I preferred and I'll never look back! Right off the bat Cindy was extremely talkative, nothing I have experienced before with getting my nails done; I told her I wanted to keep my nails simple but wanted a little design on 2 fingers and showed her what I was thinking, she gave me her opinion and said it would look bad but that she would "meet me half way", anything I wanted or could think of she would have Mike do it, I wanted a feather and he delivered. I only came here because the place I usually go to was closed. I got a gel fill and pedicure and my daughter got her nails painted and a pedicure. The lady that did my gel fill rushed through it and I was done in less than 25 minutes. That is great and all but within 3 days my nails had chipped paint and 2 of them broke off. I spent $100 and that is what I get? I had to go get them redone somewhere else and pay another $60+. Very frustrating. Needless to say I will never go back here. Read Less

I haven't had a pedicure here yet, so I'll save the five star to see how that goes. I usually get my nails done for a special event and then have them taken off, but this time I went in for my wedding and have since had two fills. This is partly because most times I've had my nails done, the people doing them are too rough and my fingers hurt for days after! But not here!The staff is funny and friendly and understandable. Okay, call me names if you want, but I have a hard time with accents and it's nice to go somewhere I'm not guessing at what's being said.  Cindy is so wonderful, she puts me right at ease and before I know it we've been talking for 45 minutes and my nails are done. I recommend making an appointment, especially in the late afternoons or evenings. They try to be very accommodating to walk-ins but they're getting more and more popular and can't always squeeze people in for those last minute manis and pedis! Read Less

Whenever I get my nails done, this is the place I always go to! Everyone is so nice and welcoming, and the salon is always really clean when I'm there. Mike is on point when it comes to manicures and nail art. This time around I decided to go with something natural but still sparkly. He did an amazing job with my gel manicure! He even surprised with me with a different color accent nail with a really cute hand drawn hello kitty on it. I didn't even ask what he was planning on doing because I always trust his judgment.
