STAY AWAY I had a horrible experience at this salon. I went in for a fill of a powder full set. The male technician with glasses proceeded to use a power file to fille off all the powder. I said is this how you do a fill with powder on the nail already he said yes because it would be too thick if it wasn't all filed off. He filed off all the powder and on one finger it was very painful. I then said ok all the powder is off now and you just saw the tip. My nails were sore and tender from filing the powder off so I decided to get a gel manicure instead. You can see the next day they were so week that 2 tore off and all the others have indents on the nails. The polish was not put on with precision because it is off the line of the nail. He didn't use any polish remover to clean it. I also had a polish change for my toes and that was actually ok. The whole thing was 42.00 and I have 2 broken nails the next day was not happy. Thought I would give this place a try. Close and convenient. The quality was ok, not great. A little cheaper than other places. So I thought closer and cheaper, awesome. Quality? Not so much. And inconsistent nails. Some thin, some thick, paint was ok. Then one broke and another the first week. I went in and they fixed one but would not fix the other. Another $7 after paying $38 a week ago. No thanks. I will go somewhere else. Pay more for better quality from now on. Save your money and time from having to go back and get your nails fixed. Been here twice.  The first time I really liked it and decided to make the extra drive and come back. Today I went in for a pedicure. It was the fastest pedicure ever!  They over booked people and needed me out.  I feel like I put my feet in the water, had a little scrub, paint and off I went.  It's a really nice clean place. This place is clean and decorated beautifully. They're always busy which is a good sign, but you Can still get in with in 15-20 min without an appointment. I went a few times to who ever was available but then I met Tammy. She is wonderful at the massage with the pedicures! I'm very picky and I like my nails creative and with artwork. Every time I come in I give her a new challenge and she's always up for it! Plus she is fun to talk too!  I messed up my toes one time after a pedicure and when I went back to have it fixed  they were swamped! But the owner came over within 10 min and fixed me for no charge. It was my first time coming here. I got a gel manicure.  I was a walk in and was sitted really fast. For a Saturday afternoon it was pretty empty, which I liked. It was raining so that might have been why. My gel manicure was pretty quick which I really appreciated since I was in the one hour parking. I've had 4 experiences with this salon now.    It used to be pretty good.  I found a place more convenient for me but the lady was visiting fily in veit nam for a month and I needed my nails and toes done. Last time I had just had my nails done by a place I used to go to years ago,  I hated them,  within a day one popped off and the paint was a huge mess. So my husband convinced me to go to Dazzling nail instead of creating a stink at the old place I had just gone to. So I went hoping they could do a complete take off and redo my full set and then toes.  But because they didn't have time for both,  I just had my nails done.  A nice lady named Lisa was careful and meticulous about taking off the jacked up set and skillfully and carefully put a beautiful new set on me.  They were perfect and lasted three weeks!  Shebnailednthe design (which was pretty simple but nice)  and was very kind the whole time.  In fact she was there an hour after closing time taking every opportunity to be careful and detailed. I came back hoping for an appointment with her only to be told she retired (she probably quit actually.  I exhausted every effort explaining my interest in having a experienced technician work on my nails because I like them very short and with no natural nail left under the tip that extends past the nail bed.  My nails are very strong and will cause the tip to lift away and trap dirt and bacteria.  Larry assured menge would get me with his most experienced staff yet when I arrived I had a pedicure from someone who'd I've never met that did a horrible job on my feet and paint job,  chips evident the SAME NIGHT.  Glitter not taken to the full edge over the color below.  Now to the nails....And this pissed me off. I wanted a short fill,  and had one small chip.  Minimal cutt down and the design was simple and similar to the last except silver instead of gold,  see photo. My nails were done by get this,  their NEWEST tech, Emmie, despite my request and Larry's statements. I picked the gel colors that fit into the design and as soon as she was shaping my fill she began to complain to me that she had already taken soooo long on my nails and people were waiting.  I didn't understand because I hadn't said anything about the job she was doing and she hadn't started the design yet. I asked what she meant and why she felt it might be taking so long,  trying to be understanding so I could not add to the problem. She said that I "just wanted so much", but is asked what she meant and she said the design it's too much. This is a laugh because I am a very simple person with my nails.  Anyway she said she didn't feel comfortable and had Larry do my design instead. He half assednit until I mentioned that I thought maybe there was a better glitter with more large glitter pieces that could achieve the look I wanted.  I picked it up and viola it began to look a lot more like the picture.  So that was good. I had to return today to have my toes fixed.  Larry asked me to return tomorrow because they we're busy.  Eerrr...  I made an appt Sunday because that's when I needed the done.  I'm already inconvenienced having to come back,  I leave out of town for work tomorrow a d can't make a THIRD trip back.  I said I would wait and he said again to come back.  I was frustrated and said I would wait because I was pretty frustrated having already spent hours here yesterday and almost $100 after tip and dealing with a rude tech. He didn't say anything,  and after 25 minutes a sweet gal named Kathy helped me and did a great job. Thank god for her. Anyway unless you have a few days and extra hours in your day, and money to throe away then skip this salon,  at least until they get their act together. Read Less

I came across this now someone because I was next door at the See's Candy when I go to a nail salon I like it to be extremely clean and this place was a maculan when I walked in they told me to wait a couple minutes and it really was a couple minutes over all this place is really good pedicure was awesome and I'd love to my nails I'd recommend this place because everyone that works here knows what they're doing and does what you want. Excellent service! We received four pedicures with two children and two adults together. They did a wonderful job with all of us. It was a very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Also I got my eyebrows waxed which also was great. Their prices are very competitive, $25 for a basic pedicure. They used plastic liners for the foot tub. Definitely coming back! Read Less

I've been going here since the week they opened. There are a few that do a way better job then others, but for the most part they all do good. My favorites are Justin, Kim, Larry, and one other youngish lady. They always treat me really good, they try to make conversation, they play good music, they fix fuck ups for free, and no it's not cash only(other reviews said it is). I won't go anywhere else. So I picked this placed based on reviews. My mistake. Got a pedi and a full set. First my big toes were cut to short and at odd angle just doesn't feel right. Second my nails look terrible. Thumb nail not straight and the others the nail bed ends look messy and not clean. Nail length was removed during the filing so they are super short. Not what I asked for. Poor techniques. The staff here are amazing! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and do an awesome job. I love that the salon is open on Sundays too.  The color selection is huge, and they have a list of services for you to pick from that clearly lay out the prices so there is no confusion on what you owe. I was immediately impressed when my 11:45 appointment started right on time. The salon itself is impeccably clean and they use a plastic liner in the pedicure tub. Great customer service and I was checked on about the water temperature and if I was comfortable several times.The Deluxe pedicure was amazing. The hot stone massage and products were spa quality. My toes and feet look great and all of their polish looks clean and new. My gel manicure was quick and my cuticles look great. I took away one star because once I got into the sun I realized the polish was a little lumpy on several fingers. The service and cleanliness are top notch.I would happily return for a pedicure. It's just ok. The decor is pretty cute inside, tho the stations are set up strange. It's just a long granite counter with no individual lights, which had me wondering how the techs could see what they were doing properly (my guess is they can't). They have only a few dozen gel colors to choose from. The guy I had, Tony, shaped my nails super chunky, not at all feminine, half of my nails were different lengths and I needed to reshape them when I got home.This is another one of those shops that has an atm machine inside pretending to be "cash only" but they do have a debit machine behind the counter they greatly discourage customers from using. I get it's a business and they need to make money, but the way they go about it is just tacky and actually discourages me from tipping more. They take great care of me at Dazzling Nails!  I have followed Than Mi ("Tammy) and Justin from when they were at Sierra Nails.  Now I have another person to add from this place, Kim, that does a great job too.I always ask for Justin to do my designs on my toes.  His attention to detail is phenomenal! This time, I had Kim do the pedicure and then Justin did the flowers.  They both had great attention to detail.The chairs massage your back while these great people massage your legs and feet.  Just gloriously relaxing.Great job!!!  Highly recommend them. I have nothing but positive things to say about Tina (owner) and her new nail salon - Dazzling Nails and Spa in the new Bass Pro Shop/Walmart shopping center. Let me start off by saying, I've been with Tina and her husband Long for nearly 6 years. They opened their first nail salon, Crystal Nails and Spa in Rancho Cordova in 2010 and I've been religiously going every 2-3 weeks since then. I was thrilled when they opened Dazzling in Rocklin - as I work in Rancho Cordova but live in Roseville. Now I could get my nails done after work or on the weekends rather than scheduling during the work week!The salon is absolutely gorgeous and clean as well! They truly paid attention to all the details when designing the nail bar and all the various light fixtures. Prices are extremely reasonable as well! Love the new salon and location!Tina and Long both do amazing work - as does their entire team. I have now been to Dazzling twice since opening - and will start coming here regularly instead of Crystal. Tina has always been #1 in customer service - if something goes wrong she always offers to fix it. But to be honest in the last 6 years, the only time something has gone wrong is when I've not liked something I CHOSE. I've never had any issues with my nails - the quality is MUCH better and LASTS longer than any other nail salon I've been to in the area - and trust me I've visited my fair share to find the salon I wanted to stay with. I initially was going for fills every 2 weeks and for the past 3 years I go every 3 weeks because they do such a good job, my nails still look good after 3 weeks! I cannot rave on how much I love get my nails done with Tina. Dazzling does a mix of nails (manis, pedis, gel polish, acrylic/fake nails, etc...) and also waxing - I believe Tina specializes in this.I recommend everyone and anyone come here - it took me YEARS to find a nail salon that i never wanted to leave and it took years and years - i'm so thrilled to have found Tina and Long - I'd follow them to wherever the open a shop!
