This place is very cheap. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff is very nice and humorous. If I lived in the area i would definitely come back. So I'm here right now and I'm pretty annoyed/disappointed. I am doing a walk-in appt, but they seem to only have like 3 nail technicians here right now which means the wait will be longer. That's fine I don't mind waiting but like let me know that it's gonna be a minute cuz they had me sit in the spa chair about ten minutes ago and nobody has come over to do or say anything other than initially filling the water. To make it worse, he filled it with lukewarm water that is by now on its way to getting cold. Oh and I haven't been presented with any colors or anything to choose from...so I'm pretty annoyed. The lady claims it'll just be 5 more minutes so we'll see....So all in all once they got started they nail techs were pretty good but due to a lack of staff the woman who started my pedicure was not the one who ended up painting my nails as she had to move on to start on the woman next to me who had been sitting there for like 20-30 minutes with her feet in the water and nobody working on her, just like I had. So instead, the male nail tech came and painted my nails and he did an absolutely horrible job! Like I could have done better on my own toes than him. He layered the color way to much and just did a shit job. Low and behold one of the female techs joked that I was lucky cuz I was his first pedicure -__- All in all I wouldn't go back to this place. It took like 2 hours for a gel manicure and a spa pedicure because of all that time they keep you waiting and all the multitasking they have to do to make up for being understaffed. Finding a good nail salon in Riverside seems to be a challenge among me and my friends, but after searching on yelp I found topcare! I made an appointment with Joe a week prior to secure a spot. I was actually running late the day of my appointment so I called Joe to let him know and he said that wouldn't be a problem and I could actually come 30 minutes later. I arrived at topcare 5 minutes late, but I saw the Joe was helping another customer. He said I would have to wait and I waited 20 minutes which I didn't like :/Throughout the time he was working on my nails he would go on his phone, which personally bugged me because I prefer attentive customer service. Nonetheless my nails came out really well and he would constantly ask to make sure I liked how they came out. I actually came back a couple hours later because my nails were too and he trimmed them without a complaint! TL;DR!! They told me to wait 10 minutes for a paedicure. It ended up being a 25 minute wait. The water was cold. I told them more than once. The massage was the best part. The nail job itself was mediocre. There are better places, but you get what you paid for. Read Less

I have been to this salon a couple of times to get my nails done so believe that it is a good time for me to leave my honest review. This salon definitely does a great job at a great price! It is in a pretty sketchy plaza, but don't let that stop you from coming. I would still recommend others to come here, especially if you live close by. Looking back at the pictures of my nails I wish I knew what nail shape was best for me when I used to come here... but I never wanted to pay extra for the coffin nail shape. Oh well. I always had my nails done by Joe, who was generally pretty nice and funny. The only reason why I am giving this salon two stars is due to a one-time incident that irked me. I called in advance and spoke to Joe to schedule an appointment at around 5:30 PM on a weekday. He said he would be available and added me to his schedule. When I showed up the day of my appointment around 5:15 PM he was already working on another client. He called me over and apologized and said that he forgot that I was coming in. He then asked if there was any way I could run some errands around the area and come back at 6:30 PM. I was honestly pretty pissed. I showed up early for my appointment that I made in ADVANCE and you are asking me to come back an HOUR later? Sure, I could have done 15 minutes and maybe even 30 minutes! But one hour was just too much. But at the time I just said ok, left, came back at 6:30, got my nails done, paid, and left. Since then I have never come back to this salon. It was always a little far of a drive for me since I live on the 60 near UCR. I just didn't feel like I was treated the right way as a paying customer. Thankfully I have found another nail salon close by that I enjoy. This was really just a personal experience I had when coming to this salon. This place is horrible! There is only 2 people here that know how to do nails & they are always booked with appointments. Do NOT come here as a walk in. I came in and I should have gone right back out. I waited 45 mins after they told me it would be 20 mins away which is typical for a nail place right? As soon as the lady started, I noticed that she was very messy. Right after taking my old gel color off, instead of brushing off the excess acrylic dust, she just went ahead and started working on them. A day later, they look hideous and there's a bunch of nasty flakes even after she coated my nails 3 times with the gel color. Also, missed some spots while painting my nails. Both my index finger nails are crooked. Lynn, please help this lady. Teach her how to properly do nails or just fire her. She deserved no tip. Read Less

Found this place obviously here on Yelp. It had good reviews and most of the pics looked nice. Many ppl mentioned Joe & Lyn as their nail tech and i wanted to give one of them a try. I came in on a Monday and assumed it wouldn't be as busy (wrong) i walked in and saw a big Hispanic guy doing nails  (i assumed this was Joe) and 2 asian ladies doing a mani/pedi. When i walked in i was looking around for the service board that has prices and stuff and finally one of the ladies asked how can she help me. I asked how long the wait would be for a gel fill and pedi and was told 15 mins (as always, if it's not 5. It's 15 lol) Almost 30 mins later i was finally getting my fill by one of the ladies (unfortunately Joe was busy and Lyn wasn't in yet) Long story short, my nails and toes are hideous. The gel on my nails is super thick and clumpy and the file job was terrible and she cut me and my finger was bleeding..she also cut my big toenail slanted and i have paint all around my nail on my skin... i had to be somewhere so i couldn't go off like i wanted to  so i just smiled, said thank you and left. Best nails I've ever had..  I stopped getting my nails done because I suffer from OCD and Just couldn't find someone that did a good job on each nail. Then I was introduced to Joe. Lynn you are a nail goddess. I have NEVER had nails this perfect  and your prices were amazing! $25 for an ombré fill WITH GEL!!!! And $35 for a full ombré set with gel!!! All of you guys do an absolutely AMAZING job with acrylic nails. (Lynn, Joe, Trihn)...I didn't see one bad nail job. And everyone spoke good English and were super fun to joke with and talk to. After going here today I am really surprised that this place has so many stars. The shopping center that it is in is not so nice, but I tried to ignore that, thinking this place must just be nicer on the inside, it wasn't. This place looks like it's under construction.       When I first walked in, no one greeted me, there was no front desk and nowhere does it display their prices or any of their services. Finally one of the guys that works there asked me what I came in for I told him gel manicure and pedicure. The polish wall is frightening and there were no gel samples to choose from so I just waited. ( still really hopeful because of the great reviews)         The two girls who did my nails were nice and friendly. But the over all environment in this place was awkward and uncomfortable, it seemed like half of the customers were somehow related to one of the staff members so there was a lot of loud and inappropriate conversations going on. The owner and one of the guys were yelling at each other across the salon. Then there  was the blood and gore thriller movie that was playing on the tv, so inappropriate. I really didn't feel like watching a guy get axed together while I got a pedicure.           I realize these are just my annoyances, and after all this, I was still just willing to look passed it all, because the important thing is to have good nails. Well, my gel manicure is definitely decent and acceptable, she may have had a hard time because my nails are so short, the little imperfections don't bother me. However, my toes unfortunately look awful. I am 38 weeks pregnant and I have a hard time seeing my feet. From afar they looked OKAY. but once I got home I was sooo disappointed. There is left over polish on all of my toes, it looks really sloppy, some of them are already chipped after only a couple hours, and she actually painted the skin about a millimeter after my toenail ended. It looks really bad. This was my last treat for myself before my due date in a week and a half, so this was really upsetting and I really don't want to go back to this place even to get them fixed. I love this nail salon so much!I never really found a good place to get my nails done until I found Topcare Nails. I was looking for a place that did chrome nails on Yelp and then I found this place. I made an appointment with Lynn a week in advance.For my first time here, I got a rose gold chrome nails. It turned out great! I seriously fell in love with them. They lasted for so long too and I got so many compliments.I came back weeks later to have them filled in and Lynn made them look so beautiful! I got like a burgundy chrome along with a holographic nail. I noticed that she really does take her time with nails and she makes sure it turns out just the way you want. Not to mention, she is such a sweetheart!I am so glad that I found this place. Moved to riverside about a year ago and always drove 2 hrs to get my pedicure done with a lady whose been doing my nails for years because I'm all about trust and being happy. Today I finally got enough courage to try some place new and stay local. OMG THANK GOD FOR ANNIE SHE IS AMAZING!!!! She was so sweet, welcomed me the minute I walked in. Annie listened to how and what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable, took her time, was very gentle, and omg everything she did made me feel so relaxed, pampered and happy. A totally incredibly great experience she did an AWESOME BEAUTIFUL JOB!!! EVERYTHING ANNIE DID WAS PERFECT I'M VERY VERY HAPPY & MORE THAN SATISFIED..... only thing I felt bad about was that for all the quality hard work she did they charge so so cheap.
