This place is the worst!!!!!!! me and my sister got there at 4 and ended up leaving at almost 8pm and only two customers where ahead of us (they where already being worked on).  They had two super slow workers.  The young working man seemed to not have an idea what he was doing.  So, I went on to getting a full set gel.  I had asked the older man the type of design I wanted and he proceeded by saying he could do it.  Well ...my nails looked horrible nothing, not even a bit close to what I had asked for.  I asked the guy to instead just do one color on the nail since he did a terrible job and he had the nerve to say "$10 more".  Ha!! i used to love coming to this place. i have only done my nails here for the past 4 years and only with Julie. Everyone else is super rude and unprofessional. I have gone and in have someone start on my nails and take forever but they also get another girl started while working on my nails. There was a time where i had a specific way of getting my nails done and the lady said they were ugly and she wanted to so whatever she wanted on my nails (Not julie). I would not recommend this place for a pedicure they are not sanitary. Never again did i go. I would only recommend this place if you're gonna do a full set but always ask for Julie. Read Less

I'm trying to figure out how this place has any more stars than two. I'll say the reason why they even get two. - their willingness to be open on a holiday instead of being with their families- the effort in general- simple fact that they could do a better job that I can have ever achieved on my ownAs for the service overall, it sucked but I knew that going in. But that's what being a procrastinator gets me. I almost feel like the lady didn't really know what she was doing and just going off of what she's seen. The woman I had was very kind and I didn't want to give her a hard time either way. $15 for a pedicure, well I'm used to paying $40-$50 for a pedicure, so $15 for me... Well like I said, I knew what I was paying for. I admire her willingness to accommodate me due to the holiday and my last minute self and well the massage was ok.People get too caught up in paying $15 and getting a shitty job, PAY UP and then if you don't get anything better than great, THEN COMPLAIN. If I can rate 0 stars I would. This place is a joke. I'm new to riverside and I was trying to find a good nail salon in the area. I decided to give Cool Nails a chance, I called around 10:35 AM just to see if they were busy and if they take walk ins, they said it's okay and to come in. I asked how much they charged for a full set. They said 15.00, which isn't bad what so ever. I come in around 10:50, I walk in and no one greets me for a good 5 mins. Till this woman see's me and says hi. I told her I wanted a full set, she sits me down with a man, and he proceeds to do my nails, I had some acrylic on from my past nails and he took them off, it took a good 30 mins just because he kept on hurting me and I had to tell him to stop, not to mention he was pulling my acrylic off with his actual long thumb nails, not sanitary at all. He didn't wash his hands or anything before working on my nails. Once we finally got the acrylic off he proceeded on to glueing the tips. Which he had to take 3 off cause he glued on slanted, oh and not to mention he put nail glue all over my skin! Then he cut the side of my thumb, it's completely raw, him & the ladies in the nail salon were just rude and talking shit. I can tell cause they all were around me looking at my nails and he kept on pointing at them. I ignored them. The whole time though I felt so uncomfortable and all I wanted to do is leave. He was so rough with my nails it hurt, I absolutely hated my whole experience there. . I ended up paying 23 dollars for my nails, cause: 1- long nails not short, 2- he had to take off acrylic from my past nails, 3- Coffin sharp nails. Not ONCE did he ever said these are all additional charges. The acrylic from my other nails was only on 4 nails, and it was barely anything. He didn't talk at all to me as well. I literally sat there for an hour thinking to myself. Just wanting to leave. He kept answering his phone too. He couldn't even look at me, and he smelled like complete cigarettes. Which is really unpleasant. Oh! And their phone rang so many times when another man answered and just said " we are busy! Sorry " hanged up on whoever had called and they all proceeded to laugh, literally all the employees laughed, I can tell you right now they weren't busy at all. It was just me and 2 other woman getting our nails done. And I can even tell they were shocked it happened. So RUDE! I will not be returning at all. And my nails have air bubbles in them. Just to finish off my bullshit of an experience there. I should had read the Yelp reviews before coming here, but I have them a chance, my fault. I really hope whoever owns this salon realizes how unprofessional their staff is. The guy who did my nails did not do them well at all. I can tell he didn't know what he was doing. I'm new to the area and I stumbled upon this nail salon one weekend. Walked in the first time for white tips + eyebrow wax. Got seated pretty fast but since there were only two people working on hands, I waited a little longer. The service was nice and so were the people. The man and woman kept switching though which I didn't understand. But overall for a first visit, it was nice and they are very affordable! Read Less

I have been a VERY LOYAL customer to Cool Nails. I've been going for a year now every 2 weeks. Today has been the most unprofessional day I have experienced. Ok first off they're supposed to be open at 9. I get there at 9:18 and no ones there. This has happened before. So I decide to wait another 5 minutes. An employee arrives during that time, she sees me, parks, then leaves! I was infuriated. Cool Nails isn't professional what's so ever! I don't recommend coming here! I've also seen ROACHES in their containers while I was getting my nails done the last time. So I bring my own tools when they're going to do my nails with Julie. I'm no longer coming to Cool Nails.  Julie is such a sweetheart but her employees aren't! They're ALWAYS LATE and they take forever to do a basic fill or full set. Julie is a great technician, that's the only reason why I've kept going to Cool Nails despite other mishaps. I honestly do not recommend coming here. Read Less
