Only reason I didn't give a 1 star rating is because they NEVER fail with the eyebrows BUT the nails this place has definitely went down hill since HI and Rose left Rose keep my eyebrows perfect but now Mark does a good job I went last month to get my nails done and I had a nail POP off ! not Break but just POPPED off like it was a press on I had a older gentleman do my nails ughhhh never again I just hated the idea of getting my eyebrows done in Richmond and my nails in Oakland but generation nails here I come or tinas nails in Vallejo another thing I swear every time I go in there they have a new set of employees and they all look sketchy I wish they would bring back the quality kim's nails used to be the go to spot now it's the wait a hour for eyebrows two hours for shitty nails spot Read Less

I have been going to Kim's nails off and on for years the quality of service has gone down since the original owners. I understand they have to pay the rent there and the more clients the more money but not at the expense of low quality service. I was very disappointed my last visit my nails were horrible my nails had red polish residue from my old polish in the corners of my nails because the nail technician was trying to go to fast and missed those details. I have a nail shop around the corner from my house that does a much better and I pay way less Kim's nails was an easy choice I mean right by my job go after work then go home  I see now the service has changed and so must I it's sad really low quality service in the hood... is that what they think of us we deserve the same treatment as if you were going to a nail shop in Brentwood etc.. our money dictates that . I should've gone back and made them do it over again and that was my bad but this was the end for me. I will be getting my nails elsewhere. Read Less

Once upon a time Hi and Kim owned this nail salon and provided exceptional service. One of the workers while Hi and Kim owned the salon name Mark. Mark got a girl pregnant -- had twins -- and Mark and she are the new owners. Kim's Nails is not the same anymone and exceptional service left with the old owners. The pictures attached show the mediocre work they perform. When you walk into this so-called place of business I guarantee you you will not be greeted. You will have to get someone's attention and ask them to provide you  the service you are there for, this is terrible customer service.My nails are shaped all different -- polish and top coat  everywhere --- and they are thick as heck.
