I asked for ombre nails & the guy went ahead and put mood changing color on my nails.. like no i didnt asked for that!! Never did mood channging gel came out of my mouth. He had the audacity to tell me mood changing=ombre like noo boy get your vocabulary straight!! I was hella furious, i came  back inside & asked him to fix it, he said "im gonna have to charge you" like are you serious? This place is ghetto af & definitely lacks costumer service. I came here in recommendation of a co worker right but I'm guessing she's a usual customer so it's probably why her nails are so nice. I was the first customer to walk in and I was helped by a guy and he did my nails, acrylic not gel. Horribe. Job. The quality of my gel manicure was extremely sloppy. The gel peeled right off my nails within 3 days. When I immediately examined my nails after they were done I realized and asked for corrections and was given a glare. Would not come back. Prices were affordable but I expected better quality. I rarely ever not tip when I ever go anywhere. But today I was so displeased with my service, I just paid and left. When I came in, I was greeted by a pretty petite lady. She started my water for my pedicure and told me to pick out a color. Pedicure: I sat down and put my feet in but then another woman (petite w/ auburn hair) sat down in front of me and started to do my feet. She apparently spoke zero English because every time she said anything to me it was kind of just mumbling stuff (luckily I got the idea). During my pedicure, she seemed to just work very lightly as my feet were real fragile. She did all the steps to a pedicure just to do them but not real effort. The point of scrubbing someones feet during a pedicure is to remove any dead skin they may have and I still have some dry skin under my feel so she did not do a good job. The paint job was mediocre, she left paint around my toenails still. Manicure: The manicure was the worst! My nails are recovering from months of back to back acrylic fullsets so I decided to get just a regular manicure and the same lady did my nails. She once again filled my nails as if I was really fragile and she kept filing the sides and not the tip (where I needed her to file) Whatever nails I had is not completely short. She cut me while cutting my cuticles and she didn't even buff my nails properly. She just glided it over just to do the step. The paint job was the absolute worst! Uneven job and paint left over around the nails and on my skin. I had to remind her to clean it. After, she told me to go to the drying table while she cleaned up and she didn't bring any of my things to me. We're in the f%^king hood! What if my stuff got stolen? So after she cleaned up this bitch walked straight to the back and came back with a cookie and just sat their eating it while she checks her text messages! Terrible customer service! She made no effort to try to talk to me and I don't even think her tools were clean. They were just sitting on the table and her coworker grab a basket of tools from a bag (she probably brought herself). I got a coffin shaped matte fill and a matte pedi at this shop with my sister in law. My total came to $50...this place is your average nail shop in the hood.Andy is super friendly...does great sets, he's probably the reason why they are always busy. They seem to be always busy for full sets, 3 people were waiting for a full set when I left. My toe nails came out nice but a little too short. The lady who did my toes forgot what polish she used and gave me a different color which Andy happily changed.In the end my set came out just as I wanted! Thank you Andy! Read Less

#1.  Pedicures are affordable and good. If you want to pay extra they have a deluxe pedi that's good too. The only downside is that the nail polish will come out super fast so bring your own nail polish.     #2. The place is clean and they have a TV and cool music in the background. This place... um, no.Unless you are a regular you don't get treated right. My mani and pedi were not done with care and I was poked, pinched and the polish on my toes smudged meaning it was TOO thick! They man-handled me instead of just asking me to move my arm in certaiin ways. Very rude. AND to top it off and this is my pet peeve, to talk (both technicians did it) in Vietnamese to each other while helping me. It is so rude. Not calming. Never will be back. This is the most ghetto nail salon I have been to and it's not because it's in downtown Richmond the people that run this nail salon are just ghetto. these two women V and her sister in law have very bad dispositions. First of all these to think that they are too good to be doing this kind of work in the first place. They think that you're just supposed to accept whatever they do to you, and if you have any input they get real shitty and begin to loud talk in your ear or over your head in their native tongue , and you're a paying customer ..how  rude.  CAUTION  don't get your eyelashes done there ladies they use black  hair bonding glue and the end product is thick unrealistic looking lashes reminds me of a unilash. Getting your nails done by Andy is hella AWESOME. Hear me out, it's like UR nails doing by UR homie. It's a hit or miss for some but I love his character. He is hella blunt but it's for your own good. Lol U don't wanna walk out looking a foo and he doesn't want credit for you looking one. Lol with that said! Thank you Andy for telling me to get coffin style instead of claws cus that's "hella old school" lol. Every person I helped at my job (CBCB IN BERKELEY) complemented the style as well as the color.
