So I try to come here A lot  Jason Is great but let me tell you all his female staff is just really freaken mean and rude, Its like they are just always in a bad mood I come in here willing and ready to spend my money that is green just like anyone else, last time I came the lady who gave me my pedicure was extremely rude she assumed i just wanted a basic pedicure didn't offer me anything else when really i wanted the 45$ deluxe pedicure im wondering why she wouldn't give mw the option so whatever when i went to get my hands done I told him she was super mean and I asked by the way do you guys do callus removal on pedicure he says yea of course we do it all girl I told him well the lady was super mean and didn't offer me anything extra that I would have liked to pay for, he then states that when I came back again he would offer me the 45$ pedi for the price of a basic which is 30$. okay that was fine well I came in again attempted to get the 45$ pedicure as promised and they acted as id I was lying so they waited foe Jason to confirm but when he came in it was as if he didn't really remember what he had promised but again I said whatever and got my hand fixed and another basic pedi, Well this morning is Sunday Aug 13th 2017 . I arrived here 10 minutes b4 opening I have 1 broken nail that needs to get fixeD JUST 1 nail Just 1!! There are absolutely no customers as I walk in!! Im immediately denied at the door!! she says right away Jason not here Jason not here I said oh its okay I just need 1 nail fixed!! She said oh sorry we have a group coming foe a wedding I cannot help you !! I said really mam its 1 nail and nobody is here yet please help me!! She said no sorry!! And shut the door as she almost pushed me out!! It is now 9:15 am and she still has not had one customer walk in im sitting here watching and nobody not one person!! She could have been done with one nail but instead I was denied and discriminated against once again here!! Im starting to ask myself is it because Im a Latina? I came in without an appt. on a Wednesday.  The lady told me to wait half an hour and I left. Came back the next day NOONE attended me until 10-15 minutes later, and asked what did I need I told them and they did not say ANYTHING after. They did NOT tell me how long the wait is, multiple people asked and didnt check in with me every so often to reassure me I would be helped soon.. ONE HOUR LATER I finally get helped. By this point I'm irritated. At the end of this whole eexpierence I am extremely dissatisfied with my nails.. They are extremely thick and the shape is off. Finally got myself here and it was great. Strong smell when you walk in, but it goes away. The pedicure was the best I've had in awhile! My manicure was good but one hand is shinier than the other and my nails are clearly didn't lengths. I'm not mad, I'll just be more aware next time. She did super cute pineapples on my ring fingers. I asked for a coffin shape, and all my nails are a different shape and lengths. Although the lady was really nice, she did cut me SEVEN times. She cut three of my fingers open, and pretty deep. It hurts like a b****! I don't even understand how it happened, and all she would say was "sorry," and continued to file over the open-bleeding skin. She also did not take off my cuticles at all, my nails look completely gross. The lady helping my sister was really rude, kept messing up, but got mad at my sister, when she'd ask her to fix something (as if it wasn't her job to). She went in for am ombre, and it didn't go as planned. No ombre at all. Although Jason was really nice, and sweet! I hope I get him next time. It was only $38, but not worth it. One thing for sure customer service sucks ass here! I came in as a walk in & they had me waiting at another waiting area bc the front was full. As I was next, one of the assistant ladies came and skipped me just told other people to get to their chairs etc and when I told them I was there first I was ignored. Since Jason has became high on demand they aren't as clean as they should be and the customer service just sucks. Lack of communication and organization. Overall out of the 3 times I tried this spot, it's nothing special, I care for customer service especially when it's my time my time to relax etc. & the work they do as well. I have been going to Jason's for years I recently moved to Pittsburg ca and he is well worth the drive because no other nail salon compares. Giving one star based off of customer service. I came in with 45 minutes until closing, literally only asking for them to repair 1 nail that i broke. He firstly ignored me standing at the door. Finally when he acknowledged me he refused me. He had time but i guess my need was not important enough for his service. I will never go back to this place. Read Less

Never had acrylics chip like this even with just basic color not gel.  And this is gel.  And my left hand is all longer then the right. They didn't use a base coat. The ONLY person to go to is Jason ONLY if you want some really detailed design because everyone else and everything else about the place sucks. ONLY go there and ONLY go to Jason if u want a really detailed design. Other wise if u want longevity and durability and polish to last do not go there. Today is my first time coming to Jason's nails, I came in around 10:30 no appointment but got helped quick. I had Vivian, she did a great job. I got almond/stiletto purple glittery nails! I love them. I will come again with Vivian but will make a appointment, it's 11:30 and they filled up quickly, so I suggest you make appointment. They have sooooooo much to choose from! I am in love with my chrome nails!!! I've been here a few times now and I feel like their specialty is acrylic nails. If you're looking for nails with special designs or something out of the ordinary come to Jason's! They can do pretty much anything. I love the time they took with my nails and making sure I was completely satisfied. Rosie did my nails and she is wonderful. Very gentle and checked every nail to make sure they were even with no bubbles, marks, or hangnails growing out. She also cleaned underneath my nails too! Vivian was recommended to me at this salon from a friendly local Costco worker who's nails I gushed over. Wasn't disappointed! My 1st time getting the "coffin nail" look, brought my own OPI Gel nail polish because I love the color (Mod About You - Pastel) and when it was all done- they wanted the info. on the color so they could stock it. Jason is awesome and this review is looonnnggg over due! My sister uses Jason all the time and when we threw my sister a baby shower over the summer, I needed my nails done. Not being from the area, my sister took me with her to get our nails done. Jason isn't your typical nail tech, he has a full sleeve tattoo and he was wearing a white tee with some True Religions on when I met him. Lol. Usually, I find that men who work in nail salons are actually really good at it. Anyhow, I usually do simple designs using my real nails but I wanted to try something new. If you give Jason a little bit of direction on what you want, he'll run with your ideas and amaze you! Btw, my nails lasted a long time until I returned home to Sacramento get them redone, so impressed! For the price and the work he does, totally worth it. If I could I would give no stars I went here because it was Close and it had pretty good reviews I called and they said they could take me right a way I said I would be there in 5 mins then when I get there I had I had to wait 20+ mins to be seated then once I got sat I had to wait 5 more minutes and she was not friendly at all and I told her the color I wanted and she did the color right but my nails are so uneven they are bumpy I got gel color and I have never had my normal nail place have chipped or peeling and bubbling gel but I have had all of that with this place it looks so bad I am so upset Read Less

Horrible service why is treating customers well a lost art - this is my first visit and will be my last.1st my appointment was 6:00 Jason didn't start me until 630. I specifically went to Jason to have chrome nails done (new design). They only had dark colors displayed, I ask before Jason started if he would be able to do rose gold chrome (much lighter) he assured me he could.  I saw other customers who seemed satisfied so I had no concern that he couldn't do the work I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. He finished my thumb first in the dark color that was displayed... I told Jason "that's not rose gold that's the same color on your display" Jason asked me to wait until he was done with the 2nd color it will be rose gold, Now I'm an intelligent woman thinking how are you going to take dark to light but sure okay let's try it - it was a total waste of time... the finial result was the dark color (clearly he has never done chrome in a light color)  - I had Jason remove the gel and left :( if you don't care about being treated with respect you should go and waste you money and time at this location I did pay for a manicure because Jason had the nerve to be upset with me not liking the color he wanted for me - REALLY Read Less

A couple months ago they would have been a 5 star. You make an appt. and even if you get there on time you have to wait more than half an hour. I always waited because I liked the endless options of colors. Price isn't an issue, but when you're overcharged for something you've done before for way cheaper, then it becomes a problem. It's a slap in the face paying 90 dollars for a pedicure and refill that didn't even last one week. I'm sorry Jason but our business is done. Only reason I'm giving two stars is because the lady who took over, did an alright job.First we make an appointment a few days before and I requested to have Jason do my nails. Okay, agreed, booked! I arrive at the time I'm suppose to and i still have to wait 20 minutes because first Jason is not available and everyone else is busy. So Jason doesn't take me but the lady beside him does. She does horrible! I wanted something simple. Matte olive green nails with a lace design on my ring finger.She gets the lace and starts gluing the lace on my nail. The glue is everywhere and burning my finger. She knew she messed up so she tried taking the lace off. It was a mess. I won't even start with how uneven the acrylic was. I had her take the lace off and just left her. Jason starts yelling at me telling me it's my fault because I should have "came in with a picture". Apparently gluing lace and putting clean gel coat on top is too complicated!!!Plus they have roaches everywhere. NASTY! Never again!I tried giving this guy the benefit of the doubt but if you're blaming me because your employee can't do her job, deuces!! Read Less

I came here for the first time in late May to get my nails done for my graduation with my sister in law and we had a great experience. I do not remember the name of the lady who did my nails but she did a great job. I came all the way from San Jose just to get my nails done here. They take there time and they aren't rushed at all. I made an appointment, which I recommend because they do get very busy. My nails cost me 45$ w/out tip. The only thing I was not super happy about was that the nail artist did not know how to apply the gold strip to my nails. Either it was her or the strip itself wasn't working properly because it was sticking up from the tip of my nail.   I would come again! Read Less

I've only been to this place twice. The first time I was very happy with the results. I got a mani/pedi and the lady that did my nails was amazing. She took her time with everything. I was in love with my nails. This second time around I decided to make an appointment for an event I was attending. I again got a mani/pedi. Let me tell you the lady that did my pedicure was really good the guy who did my manicure however didn't even square out my nails. The job felt rushed and the results looked rushed as well. So much so that the guy who was doing my manicure was rushing the lady who was doing my pedicure. I was not happy. On top of that they charged me a ridiculous price ($70) that I have never paid for at any other nail salon. Maybe if the job the guy did looked like the price I paid I wouldn't be so upset. The first time I came to Jason's Nail Spa, I had to wait a while which is expected because I did not schedule an appointment. When Jason did my nails, I was supposed to get a design that day, however, he said that he was tired and to come back tomorrow morning for the design and so I did. (NOT UPSET)When I went back to the Spa for a fill, I made an appointment with Jason for 6:40 pm although I preferred to come at 7:00pm. I arrived to my appointment at 6:30pm and waited for him as he finished up with a client. After finishing with his client around 6:45pm, another client sat down with him. I kindly reminded him of our appointment and he shrugged his shoulders and said that they got busy. I ended up waiting about 35-40 minutes to get my nails done. That is a long time to wait after being at work for 9 hours. It would have been nice if they called me and told me that they were busy but they didn't. Jason did not even offer for me to go to someone else after taking the other client right in front of me nor did he give me a discount for having me wait.(A LITTLE IRRITATED, BUT STILL NOT UPSET)I also referred my best friend to this place and she showed up at 9am (because that's the business hours they posted in the front window and on YELP) and no one showed up. So she also wasted TIME and GAS going there as I did. (PROBABLY NOT GOING TO BE RETURNING)The very next day at work TWO of my nails broke so I went back to have them fixed. Jason sent me to someone else to have them fixed. I asked the lady he sent me to if she could make the acrylic thicker because I use my hands a lot and I cant have them breaking on me (I work in a financial institution, I make jewelry, and I do hair); and my nails should not have been breaking in less than 24 hours. The lady starts to sand the gel off of my nails and then AFTERWARDS tells me that I have to pay extra. (NOW I AM UPSET)Paying extra wasn't the issue because I ended up having to pay another $20 elsewhere to have someone fix what these people had done to my nails. What upset me is the their low level of professionalism and inconsideration. I can see if it was one nail that broke but TWO is unacceptable. I find it funny how they have the nerve to have an attitude with me and I am the one that paid $30 to have my nails break within 24 hours.(NEVER COMING BACK)Oh, and come to find out they overcharged me twice. I know another girl that has been there before and got a fill, gel and a design and they charged her $22. These were the same services that I got and they charged me $30 each time. I couldn't believe it so I had two of my friends call and ask for the price of these services and they were quoted the price of $25. So I have also been discriminated against (which they can be taken to court for). This place is shady and that is why they do not have their prices displayed in the shop. It is out of character for me to wish bad things upon people but I hope they get sued. If you plan on getting your nails done here, make sure that you are not getting overcharged. Maybe call and ask the price before hand or ask the person next to you how much they are getting charged. It is not an expensive or fancy place.  It is place to go and have your nails done in informal setting. If you have kids, you can bring them there and they will not feel intimidated.The massage chairs are new and very nice.  They use disposable covers in the foot spa.  The choice of colors is good. The decor is bit weird. White walls, Audrey Hepburn mural, I do not know what they are going for. The radio is streaming some sort of music which is loud and hard to understand.If you do not like kids and looking for fancy experience to just close your eyes and sit there, that is probably not the place for you.If however, you wants mani -pedi done fast and last long time and not pay tons of money for ambiance, it is perfect.
