Holly was kind enough to squeeze me into her busy schedule , and for that I thank her. That being said , I particularly didn't love the work she did on my nails. Stiletto nails are apparently difficult to execute well and this may not be her specialty . To be fair though- I did want mine as short as possible , thus making it more difficult to obtain the true stiletto point. Felt that the acrylic was left a bit rough and could've been cleaned up better around the cuticle. She is a delight to chat with and had I had natural nails, she'd probably do a lovely job. I got a gel manicure from Holly. She was super nice and paid extra attention to my nails. The first time she applied the gel, something went wrong because I washed my hands with soap and my nails weren't fully covered in polish and didn't look good. This is more of a hair salon than a nail salon. The nail "bar" is in the back left corner of the salon and it seems on a busy day you'd be rubbing elbows with the person next to you.I made an appointment and was seated right away. Granted it was middle of the day during the week so no weekend rush. Went in for a regular acrylic fill and gel color on top. I am pleased with the time it took, roughly 45 minutes I was in and out. I have been getting my nails done for years so I am familiar with prices are around. They charge $40 for a fill and gel, which in my experience is expensive. I don't know if because it's Redwood City it cost so much but for what I got done should've been $30. I like the outcome of my nails. Simple pink gel, even nails and thin acrylic. Can't say I'll be coming back to the salon, mainly because of price. Read Less

Holly and Long are the sweetest. I've been coming here since I was a teenager. I've gone to other salons and I feel like I'm in a factory. First time at this nail salon and I was pretty disappointed. I had made an appointment for shellac nails two weeks in advance... walked in, they were surprised to see me (in the middle of lunch,) sat me at the bar area, soaked my hands in cold water and pulled out dirty tools to use. I pointed out the dead skins on the tools and without apology replaced them. Second coat of polish did not cover the first coat and began to show cracks within the first week. I really can't keep going to places in NorCal and expect it to have the same prices as ones in SoCal. My mani and pedi was 43 big ones, I mean I look fabulous afterwards, but DAMN. Really love Holly. She is the sweetest. Took her time massaging both my hands and feet. The massage chairs were vintage and had a very 70s feel. It had that old barber shop kind of look where you'd see Italian mafias gambling in the back. The framed hair models looked rustic and out of fashion too, and the TV kept coming in and out because of the bad signal, but in a strange way, I really liked the atmosphere. I think the technicians really know how to make you feel at home. I don't know how often I'll be coming back though because I can't keep dolling up my fingers, but if you got $15 to spend to dress them up, by all means. And if you want to add a little dazzle on your toes, go ahead and spend that $28! The great service will be worth it. Read Less

I came here to get my nails done and saw they also do perms. So I decided to get one. Long, the guy who did it said my hair was already damage and he warned me but I just really wanted my curls. After I got the perm my hair was fried and very damage. My bangs stick up and it did look anything like curls. I came back and there were mor then happy to give me a refund and apologize. I have been coming here for 3 years and Holly never disappoints. Excellent service and very good prices compared to other similar places. The color selection is good I have done shellac services at other places, but I always come back to her. She knows how to take off your color without messing up your nails. My nails are always healthy even after weeks of using shellac gel. I also bring my son here for hair cuts you can't beat their prices. I had an appointment but showed up 45 minutes early. They took me right away and did a fantastic job!   She said my nails were too thick and too wide for my nail bed. She spect a lot of time filing and shaping to make them look more natural. I love how they turned out! Read Less

I visited Holly for the first time yesterday and am so happy with the end result.  I wanted to transition from having acrylics to gels. Nope nope nope. Got a pedicure here after looking through the yelp pictures to make sure they did a nice job. Mine is terrible. Nails cut crooked, paint gooped on so thick it's lumpy. Nails cut much shorter than I asked for. The cut and file is so bad. Some nails are straight across for 1/2 the nail then take a sharp turn down and are super short for 1/2 the nail. WTF? I'll be removing the polish when I get home and trying to file a little to correct the shape and will go bare toes until they grow back enough to let someone else fix them. Read Less

Needed a fill - BADLY!! Called 3 places and no one could fit me in... Called Fabulous and  not only did they get me in right away, but they did a spectacular job and the prices are reasonable! The place is clean and the girls are friendly! I'm definitely making this my regular salon! Read Less

What a FABULOUS find!! Long is The Man! Referred by a friend, he has totally saved me from my previously deep fried overly highlighted hair at so much less than most hair salons. Long does not compromise with cheap subpar product for a quick buck and gives you his professional advice regarding the health of your hair. Very welcomed here! His cuts are great too. As I sit there with conditioner pal or color, I see he's always in demand for great cuts especially with the dudes. Gets them in & out happy at a great rate. Although I'm not the type to get manicures or pedicures, Holly is very sweet and together they make this fabulous shop an affordable & fantastic experience. Read Less
