My favorite nail technician Kathy from my old salon is now at Lux and I couldn't be happier. She does amazing work, very meticulous, friendly and accommodating to all my little requests. My nails always turn out perfect and the gel with French tips can last anywhere from 3-4 weeks which is always nice. Lux is located in a great location with plenty of parking, it's very open and well lit inside with tons of spa chairs and nail techs so it doesn't look like there's ever a wait. I got a pedi from Kim and my toes look fantastic as well. All the ladies and the three men that also work there were very friendly and it made me feel right at home....I'm Vietnamese so I can understand all of their side conversations and it's just funny how they all reminded me of my mother!! I just visited this nail salon for the first time to get a gel manicure and am very pleased with the quality of service. My nail tech, Linh, was very attentive to details and overall did a great job. don't ever come here!!!!!they over charge you! i always get gel on acrylics and they've charged me $25 for the 4 times i've gone. & yesterday 07/21/17 they charged me $46 for my brows and nails.& to top it off they messed up my eyebrows really bad. my total should of been $33 but they started saying some bullshit on why it was $46.instead of accommodating to customers, they argue.sooooo unprofessional!!! never come here Read Less

Vivian  is the Best manicurist in this Nail Spa! Her work is perfection! Unlike most manicurists, she takes her time when doing your mani, cutting your cuticles and putting in polish! She is very patient and makes sure everything looks perfect before she is done with you. She doesn't rush you and she speaks perfect English! So when you request something, she understands you and will do just as you ask! If you want to get Acrylics, ask for Kevin! He is a sweetheart and really good! Still one of my favorite nail spas. The most important thing I check for when I go to a nail spa is cleanliness. Lux is always nice and clean!The nail lacquer and gel color selections are kept up with the current season. Nail techs are pleasant which is great and they never rush through your service. Love this place! My usual team is Kevin and Kathy, and I always get a gel manicure + regular pedicure. I don't opt for anything extra ever! The prices are too high. I've had gel nails done at a few places, and Kevin always makes my nails smooth and sleek. They are never too thick or lumpy. I'm not sure if they are using an LED lamp or a UV lamp. I will have to ask. I ASSUME it is LED, since they do not put on gloves to protect your hands, but I'm not sure. My only gripe is the price. It is $48 for a gel mani and regular pedi, and since I tip $5 per person, I'm out $58 every time. Very pricey. My nails grow pretty fast, so I come every three weeks...I used to pay about $50 including tip at my old place so the price jump takes some getting used to but worth it IMHO.The place is clean, spacious, and they have a decent assortment of colors. Horrible service, chose this place because of the location. Thought I would have a better experience on that side of town. Went in for a fill, they did it so thin, in two days I had half a nail chip off. Went back had it re-done..on the 6th day another nailed chipped then the others started chipping..went to a different salon and when they took off the polish we noticed two nails were green due to water being able to get between may nail and the acrylic. What the heck, They need to go back for training big time and better be lucky I didn't get some sort of infection. What idiots! Read Less

Really have had great experiences with all the ladies and guys here. Very friendly, the salon is always really clean and they always do a great job. It's not the least expensive place in town but I don't mind paying a little more for such great treatment and consistency. Megan is my favorite for my pedi..she's really a sweetheart! Read Less
