This place is the worst, I went in to get a full set and a pedicure, first off they were rude and second the sanitation was horrible, getting rags out of a bucket and ringing them out to put in the heater, my nails came out horrible and she cut me. This place was THE WORST place I've ever visited!!! When we arrived, my good friend and I, it was busy but two of the girls were finishing up so they began soaking our feet. My water was cold! Then my after about 10 minutes they began working on our feet and my lady who must have been about 65 years old kept hurting me. She working super fast as if she was on a time crunch when there was no one after me. So I asked her "are you in a hurry?" And she just laughed it off and slowed down for like a minute. Well her pedicure was just crap! My nails are all slanted to different directions and she didn't even remove the cuticle correctly! Then after about 45-an hour they sat us at a manicure table to get our nails done. Keep in mind there were 3 other manicurists there that could have worked on our Nails during the pedicure but they don't do acrylic! Wtf?! So then we had to wait for the only two available who can do acrylic. Well after about an HOUR....two more workers come in and I assume one of them is going to start on me and to my shocking surprise she started on another client who arrived after me and she even left before me!!! She had a full set and a pedi done and finished before me!!! I was about to just walk out but my friend convinced me to just stay. Well my nails were finally being worked on and now the lady I got looks like she's 80!!! She was working soooooo slow!!! I was already so impatient cause it's been 2 hours and so far have had only my pedi done!! And to top it off she put acrylic AAALLL over my cuticle!!!! I stopped her and had to request the dude that did my friend to finish the job cause this lady was just doing a very crappy job. This was just the worst place ever!!! My mom and I have been coming to Deluxe Nails for over a year now so it's past time to write this review. Many have written reviews when they're pissed because their hustle attempt have failed (unbelievable the crap people attempt).  These people work hard, faithfully and deserve some respect.They do good work and the pricing is comparable if not slightly less expensive than some of these other shops that are not quite up to speed with today's designing command but are charging as if they are.Give them a try. I don't understand the low stars. I have been coming to this salon for a couple years now, and each time I've received nothing but quality customer service. Definitely my go-to nail spot in Rancho.. and I've visited nearly every one in the area! All of the ladies are very sweet and detailed with their work. I always leave feeling relaxed and with a big smile on my face. They typically take me on the spot each time, which is great! See a lot of mixed reviews and assume all are true. However, this place is in walking distance to my home so I decided to give them a try. I work in downtown LA but live in Rancho therefore time is beyond limited. Pros: open late Helen does great work and there are several women who are generally pleasant. Broad range of services.  Cons: lack of nail colors though they advertise 300 + few skilled workers. Pricy. I would recommend Helen for super picky clientele similar to myself. First and last visit was today. I was pretty desperate for a quick pedicure, so I decided to try this place. Sign outside says spa pedicure for $15, but inside you won't see that anywhere. Instead it's a jumble of hand drawn signs with different types of services and all kinds of prices. Combine that with the creep factor of the gruff gentleman behind the front counter, and I should have turned and walked out right then.I sit down, and I am paired with a seemingly quiet technician who gives me the lightest scrub and lotion massage ever. I don't mind that because I hate feeling like my feet and legs are being beat up during a pedicure. Just before she polished my nails, she looks up and says "Are you white?"I think I misheard her, so I ask her to repeat herself. "Are you white? Or are you Mexican?"I pick my jaw up off the floor and simply smile and nod because this doesn't seem like appropriate nail salon small talk to me. I smile and nod and pretend like I have no idea what she's saying. Then I get out my phone and ignore her for the rest of the appointment. I walk up to pay and see a sign that says tips must be given in cash. That's just great. I looked at Yelp before I walked in to make sure that I could use my card and save myself a trip to the bank. I point and say that I don't have cash on me, so the creepy gentleman bristles and tells me that next time I must bring cash for tips. I hand over my card and without saying a word or asking how much I'd like to tip, he swipes it and pushes two dollar bills at me. Let's point something out. I am still hoping my service was $15 like the sign outside said. I didn't tell him how much to tip. And he took the card from my hands while telling me what I should do the next time that I come back. Hah. There is not going to be a next time.I look at the receipt and he charged me $18, and he's still pushed $2 at me on the counter. I asked him if he wanted me to take this to my technician and he just lifted his chin in her direction and grunts at me. I walked the cash to her, thanked her and got the hell out of there. So my service was either $15, and $2 for the technician and $1 for him or it was $16 and $2 for the technician. I'm a 20% minimum tipper, so I would have given her $3 if he would have just asked me. I was very happy with the service and quality of work! I took my grandma here for her birthday today. Hanah did my manicure. The gel was a beautiful color, and her customer service was excellent. Another lady did my grandmas pedi who was also very friendly.My grandma also loved the color, service, and quality. We like that they use new instruments each time.They went the extra mile and sang happy birthday to my grandma. I will be coming back here. I tried another shop down the street last week with my sister for a pedi, that was supposed to be upscale but their customer service was bleh. Deluxe nails has a very clean aesthetic and atmosphere. The place itself is very large and the people were very friendly. I have visited frequently and I have brought my dad before as well. Each time the service was great and the work was great quality. I normally get pedicures and foot spas and I have never been disappointed.  I also get my eyes brows done there and they do a fantastic job. They even do your lips for free with the eyebrows. I use to come here all the time and get my nails done with star this place is horrible I am here today for the very last time!!!! They don't know how to keep appointments I scheduled an appt. This place isn't upscale, or with the latest gadgets but gets the job done with an inexpensive price. If you just need your mani-pedi done and don't care about the other things it'll do. Customer service could be a tad bit better. I loved the color choices. One thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the shop. There was hair in my chair, along with a dirty floor and machines that were on the verge of breaking down. I also hate when they add alcohol to nail polish bottle because it's almost running out. It's a cheap way and makes the polish very thin on your nails and doesn't look good. Just buy a new bottle. Also, I tip! But you don't have to ask, I'll do it on my own. The guy at the desk was very rude he told me they were busy go shop and Food For Less and return in 30 minutes and maybe they could help me. I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for a pedicure, the prices are cheap and you get what you pay for. Went on Saturday morning got a gel mani and pedi but my nails are starting to lift after 3 days  Gave three stars because the women helping me were very nice but I just wish my gel mani and pedi would last me 2 weeks rather than just 3 days. I love Deluxe Nail and Spa. I refer many of my friends/family. They always listen to my needs, give me exactly what I ask for, my expectations are high with my Face, Nails, Toes, never have I had a bad experience. Always willing to take me, and I never make Apts. There extremely polite and gracious and the staff makes my day with there kindness. Sometimes I ramble on during my pedicures and even if they don't understand they make me feel like there listening and they care. I have been here before and I've had them do a decent job ! This time I went in for a gel manicure and I kept telling the guy who did my manicure that one of the nails seemed to want to peel off already he kept ignoring it. 2 days later that same nail chipped on the side I told him about. 3 days later 3 nails started coming off. I decided to call after 4 days because gel is supposed to last 2 weeks. At least it has for me at my regular nail salon. I came here out of desperation cause my place was closed. Anyhow. The owner told me to go in that they could fix it and once I went in they tried charging me $15 dollars to get the nails fixed talking about my nails looking old and what not. Came here to get eyebrows done and they do a great job. Came again for nails I wanted to wait to see how long my nails lasted since I have had problems with other nail salons. Reason why I only marked 4 stars is because I had to go back after a week because my nails started to lift ugh. If you catch them on the right day or send the right amount of money they might not be as rude as usual, when it comes down to getting your nails done the experience is great but the pedicures are 50/50 the younger staff does a better job the older ones are going to give you what they want and you can't really tell them anything they just wave you off.
