Went in for pedicure & full set. The lady doing my toes ripped so much of my skin that I didn’t stop bleeding for the three hours I was there. She then tried to SUPER glue the wound shut. As I notice this, she tried wiping it off and got tissue paper stuck all inside the wound. Then someone else came to fill & shape powder on the toe since she couldn’t & when they tried painting over it, they messed up over 3 times. My entire back was numb from being stuck there so long. And they accidentally sprayed alcohol right into the wound, I was literally in the seat crying. Also, I ended up paying $100 after asking if they could give me a discount for the terrible experience & pain I endured. It wasn’t worth arguing with them at that point. Extremely disappointed in the service and prices. I don’t feel bad spending money on myself when I get good service. This place is overpriced for the quality work. I went 10 days ago to get my gel polish redone. She was very rough and my nails did not look clean after. When removing the old polish she left a bunch and just painted over with the new color. I was told they charge one price first visit and only $18 the second and so on. That was not true because I came back hoping that last time was just a bad experience with that person. Today was again a very disappointing experience. The shape of my nails on my hands and toes looks horrible. Again they were rough and didn’t listen when I said please be gentle my nail bed is sensitive. Oh and if you pay with card they charge you a dollar without telling you. Overall for the price I paid I could have gotten a much better job done down the street and they would have been French tip not just one color. I had beautiful thick nice eyebrows before I went there. I went in for a touch up. TOUCH UP. I told the lady that I wanted to keep the thickness of my eyebrows. Im known for my thick eyebrows. I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows look like a line of hair. I wanted to cry im so sad. The lady told me that I cant have man eyebrow. But I dont understand I loved my eyebrows and now they are ruined the fact that she went against of what I said made me really sad. This place is horrible I went to get my nails done and I wanted coffin shaped and she cut my figure and it started bleeding and she saw it and I told her I’m not playing full price because she cut a chunk out of my finger then put nail glue on it I was concerned that I would get and infected so I asked her and she ignored me then after I told her I’m not paying full price she wanted to try and be nice and ask me questions about my life like she really cared. My first dip was here, with Vivian . I loved it !! Dip lasted 3 weeks and her service was good. I went back twice after that and asked for her . she took care of me . I went yesterday and apperantly she's back in school so I had another lady do my nails . bad idea. Came here about less than ten times I wanted to give a real review not just coming for the first time. Customer service wise they were great and very polite. Depending on the ladies you get it the outcome will vary. For manicure and full set I recommend the sweet little young lady. Don't know her name but she will give you exactly what you want unlike others you show them the picture they don't admit they don't know how to do it and just wing it so it will not even slightly similar to the picture you show them. For something simple on the nails I would recommend the skinny middle age man. Fast and very precise. Some of the ladies they get too tired to put any effort in what they are doing, like for the pedicure they tell you to get the most expensive one and they half ass all the way through. Eye extensions I had Tina. I had my extensions done before. So 1 she didn't wash her hands cause I smell food on them. 2 she didn't clean my eyelashes for a clean slate. 3 I was praying for it to be over soon cause she was so aggressive. Either she wasn't quick enough or she was fixing them but there was countless of times were it felt she was pulling out my eyelash. It was complete torture. She says sorry at times but does it again. I never once had my extensions done where it hurts I usually fall ASLEEP! At the end my eyes stung so much my vision was poor I gave her $20 tip I wanted to give her $10. She said my next one would be free and so did the guy on the cashier. So I came again cause I had a lot of bald spots. I was so embarrassed by the bald spots I had to come one for the free extensions. Second time was still painful but she did it less than the first time. She charged me $50! So before I did my extensions my daughter and I got our nails done. I usually pay them right away but this time they told me to pay after the extensions. The two nail technicians wrote down the price on a small paper. I was the last customer Tina rung me up she didn't give me the price on the paper. She charged me higher then what was wrote down. So tip number one pay right away when they write down the price. Two do not get Tina. Three do not ever come here when it's about to close. She offered microbladding first she said $300 then $350. Thank God I didn't get the microbladding. I am not a Scrooge on tipping I know I tip very well. I just don't like up sellers. I came for an eyebrow appointment and was told to wait in the waxing room. The lady who was supposed to do my eyebrows left me there for a good 20 minutes before realizing I was still waiting. Crystal Nails & Spa use to be really welcoming but ever since they expanded their business it's not about the customers anymore it's about the money. There are so many workers and they try to hard to quickly finish your appointment so they can do another one. I feel very rushed here. I probably won't be coming back again. Totally disappointed, paint job on both hands and toes was poor quality, toes were not shaped. Nancy went as far as to blame my nails for the paint job coming out poor. I requested white for hands and toes, she kept insisting I do French, why I am sure because it's more expansive and they don't have to take care to paint full nail evenly. They did redo my hands and still is was not good. Bubbles, uneven and lint in paint. Guy at front desk blamed polish saying it must be old. My manicurist, Lily, cut me in 3 different places while performing an acrylic fill. She was in a rush to attend another customer, or at least that's what it seemed like from my point of view. The managers explanation was that "She didn't mean it." I payed full price for my fill and pedicure and the manager did not even attempt to make any amends to try to win my business back. Horrible business practice and management. DO NOT come here unless you want bleeding fingers!!!! Never coming back here and never going to refer friends or family here! I will actively tell people to avoid this place for their safety! Disgusted by this experience. This place isn't sanitary. I totally got a infection on my toe from them using dirty implants I'm guessing... and from causing me to bleed. I know it was from this place bc the girl was digging under my nail so bad, I was bleeding...it Hurt! She was Clueless. Horrible. Got a new set and a pedicure. The woman who did my toes clearly had an attitude when I chose the basic pedicure, guess that wasn't a fancy enough choice for her. Then she slopped the clear coat on the top not painting it on at all. They looked thick and uneven. The woman who did my nails kept burning me with the sander she went too deep around the edges, they are red and indented woke up the NEXT day toes were chipped and two days after that my nails were getting stuck in my hair so they were lifting! I love the pedicures here!! But was really upset with the nail tech. First off she was very rushy. Usually when i go anywhere else if someone does my nails they never rush me to choose a color and she said she knew how to do long nails well.. after she was done some of the nails looked uneven and twisted. Nice place. A bit on costly side but for my first time in here I'm happy with results. I did full set of acrylics with gel top coat and it came to $35.75 ($0.75 for credit card transaction). I had a technician named Wendy. She works quickly and payed good attention to details. Communication is a bit struggle for her do to the language barrier, but with some help from coworkers she delivers just what I have expected. UPDATE:Had to take a star away. I have EIGHT CUTS ON SEVEN FINGERS! NEVER AGAIN!!My nail lady is on maternity leave. So I decided to go closer to home. I walked into Crystal Nails. They greeted me right away. I was seated right away. The lady was very nice. However, she cut me a bunch of times. I like the shape. But she kept sanding my skin. I bleed a few times. I pick a color that was a very vey pale pink almost iridescent White. When she stated painting it came out as a glittery baby pink. But I didn't mind it at all. I like it. I asked her to make sure she painted the edges... she painted my skin... and didn't remove it. I didn't realize it was on my skin until I had taken my hand out of the uv light. HELEN! She did amazing job on my set. I never get fake nails bc they're usually too thick or too curved but Helen does a WONDERFUL job making sure that they look real-ish and that the shape is exactly what I wanted. She also blends the powder so seamlessly so it's not too blotchy! This is one of the few salons that do this style of nails and do them right! Very classy still so chic! First time here, and this place is very nice inside.  My nail tech, Kaytlin moved to this salon, so I decided to give her a visit. As always, she's the best!!! She gives the best pedicures and manicures, and she's also a great artist.  So if you want a flower or have a design, she can most likely do it. This salon seems pretty busy as there were several people waiting for a service. They also have the nail bar instead of individual stations which is a nice change from many salons. I'm not sure why some people are posting such bad reviews. Maybe they had a bad day? With that being said, I've only had one issue here before and it is due to lack of receptionist lately, and was not my manicurist's fault.  And I've been coming to this salon well over three years (even back when they were in the smaller place). Anyhow, Helen is my manicurist and the way I make sure I get her every time is to make appointments. I've gotten to where I pick the colors and she does her thing (designs, etc). She is up on all the trends and knows what is popular in nail art. She's very sweet and makes it a point to have a conversation with you. I feel like we are good friends now, we talk so much and know about what's going on each other's lives. I use Yelp frequently to find new places and like Amazon, I rely on the reviews. I have been going here for about 2 years now and at first have always had a pleasant experience. I love their pedicures and they always do a great job. Their no chips will last awhile unlike other places. Now let's get to their dip. I was convinced to try and now I'm hooked I absolutely love it, but lately it seems like you have to get the right person or it turns out like crap. They have great employees who seem to know what they are doing BUT 80% of them are rude! I personally work in customer service and honesty if I talked the way they did to my clients I would have been fired. People who get their nails done usually go religiously and if they spend $80 at the very least every month I'd rather go somewhere else than be talked to badly like they do. Every once in a while I will stop here for a pedicure.  The salon is itself is big, clean and has lots of chairs for pedicures.  They have a pretty good selection of color but not a lot of the good brands I would see at other places.  I usually get the luxury pedicure for $35 because it comes with paraffin wax.  The polish could be applied a little neater but, eh- the excess color washes off in the shower.  In short- this place is fine. I'm usually really happy with Villa, I've been coming here since they opened but today I experienced horrible customer service today has me questioning if I will return. I send clients to them constantly as well.. I don't know if I can recommend them anymore if things don't change. There's no reason why I shouldn't be able to call ahead and see if a person is open and come in when they are. Worst customer service ever ! I told them clearly I wanted an ombre French manicure, after being told by the check in girl and the tech it was fine, the tech tells me mid pedicure she can't to the ombre French cuz they don't have the right powder ! I was on my lunch break so I didn't have time to go back and forth and just got a different color. (She already had the foil on my fingers to remove my no chip manicure). When I returned later that day the manager told me the tech could do an ombre French manicure , then when the manager left the girl tells me that she cant do it again ! Man this is the best damn nail shop I've been to in Sacramento/ Rancho Cordova. They really care about your nails and work very very hard to get your feet looking excellent; also, they work fast and very clean and sterile environment, they communicate with you, and give you at home treatment tips as well. Warm and welcoming. They make your feet look so clear, and they haven't even put on the clear polish yet, you don't even need it their so good I could talk forever on here but my suggestion is to go here. Wonderful people & The best mani-pedi around I'm really picky about where I go to get my fingers, toes and eyebrows done because I like the place to be clean, the people to be friendly and the service i'm paying for to be done as well as anyone would expect me to do it for them. I love this place. I drive all the way from marysville to get my mani-pedi and eyebrow wax done because I have yet to have a bad experience with them. No matter who does my eyeborws, they always come out just right, and my cuticles are always done very well. I really do walk out of there feeling like an entirely new person. I brought my mother and sister to get theirs done and they find themselves making it a point to go there whenever they're in town because they like it too. I like to bring my 3 daughters with me to get their nails painted too and they are always happy to do so for an extra $7 each. They even put little flowers on their finger nails, and my girls LOVE it. I've followed the owner of this shop through a couple of nail salons because I really like her company, the way she does my nails and I enjoy the treatment I get. The prices are good and the service is excellent. Their shop is new and clean, with nice spa pedicure equipment and waxing services.
