This review is for Chanell, Marwa, and Taylor. I had been here twice before for Angel Face Full Set Natural Lashes. Prior to coming here, I had extensions once in Boston. I thought I hated extensions because the ones I had from a different place in Boston were so thick and rough like wire. Thought to give extensions another go for the holidays. The first time before thanksgiving, I was with Marwa who gave me beautiful lashes! I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but she gave me a nice in between of natural and glamour with a cat eye shape (short to long). She was very kind and educational with what brand of lash materials they use, the softness of the lashes, care afterward (don't wet/sweat for 24 hours, comb everyday, wash everyday with a q-tip in a downward direction dipped in oil-free makeup remover). She gave a card with care instructions and her number to contact for refill. Unfortunately I lost her number and was too busy to schedule a fill. I called pretty last minute asking for Marwa, but since she was booked, Chanell was able to get Taylor to see me the next night. Taylor texted me which was really nice since I couldn't lose her number when it was already on my phone. We talked a lot about makeup and she gave me some advice since she used to work at Sephora! She also did a great job, but unfortunately due to a family emergency, I cried so much that night that almost all my lashes came out. I told her about this and she and Chanell were so incredibly nice and accommodating in that they refilled my lashes for me the next week! While I appreciate the service here very much, but I will not be returning because I found a place that, although more expensive, has much longer lasting lash extensions than this one. Read Less

I have been going to Chanell for over a year now for my lashes. I was hoping to only get my lashes done for one occasion, but I was instantly hooked and back for more every month!!Very easy to set up appointments, also very flexible if I ever need to change an existing appointment. Absolutely love the environment at Top Shelf Beauty Bar. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, extremely clean and organized! It's a one stop shop for a nice relaxing afternoon. Not to mention the amazing location! I love to chat with Chanell when I'm getting my service done, but somehow I fall deep asleep every time! I heard about Top Shelf from a friend who got her lash extensions done here. I get my lashes done by Marwa! I love to switch it up and she always listens to what I want and is happy to accommodate. I've gotten them thick and glam as well as natural and wispy and have been happy with the results each time. Eyelash extensions are LIFE CHANGING. Doing hot yoga means I almost never wear make up anymore. With my new eyelashes i look like i have make up on all the time. I've been coming to Top Shelf since they opened, but was using Chanell prior, when she had a little studio in Tracy. I love how efficient and professional Chanell is. My lashes are always to die for! She does amazing work, and they always last longer than suggested. I love the location of this salon, and I love that I can come and spend the day here! I recently received a facial from Taylor, which was absolutely heavenly, and a massage from Leslie, which who knew my muscles needed to be worked like that! It's cheaper here than other salons, and the work is never short of wonderful! On my most recent visit, I received microbladding done, which was an experience. It was quick, and looks so good- and makes my life so much easier. No more spending time drawing on my brows. This salon is a great one stop shop. I heard about this place from a co-worker & was instantly intrigued. I checked out the Yelp page, and was very impressed with their website and how easy it was to book an appointment. I also liked how the prices were very clear for each service, and the services were detailed. Once my appointment was booked I received a confirmation as well as a follow up reminder. I had the pleasure of having A Mimosa, hydration facial by Taylor. She greeted me at the door and instantly welcomed me with a smile. Since it was my first time I filled out a couple of sheets and provided some basic info about my skin. Once complete I was taken back and my facial began. The room where the facial took place was beyond relaxing and adorable. Calming music was played in the background and the bed was heated. Taylor took about an hour doing my facial and was incredibly gentle with my skin. All of the products smelled AMAZING and the overall experience was so comfortable. I forgot where I was, and it was exactly what I needed. Taylor was so sweet and extremely professional. Everyone I walked past smiled and looked so happy to be there. The decor is beautiful and so perfect. It's a spa with a classy touch. I will definitely be back as soon as I can and recommend this place if you want to treat yourself, or even have a girls day. This place is AMAZING!!! All the way from their customer service to the decor! I went here yesterday with a few ladies from work and got a Mimosa facial! It was amazing! Upon arrival into the beauty bar, we were greeted by the owner Chanel! She was the nicest and most patient person ever as I had A LOT of questions for her. Leslie is amazing!  I had the best massage of my life here today! ( and I've had my share of massage therapy   moments)The place is very calming, beautiful decor. Leslie is very nice and pleasant as well from the time I walked in, to when I left.She does the perfect combination of strong, deep tissue massage while having a sensual touch at the same time. What this means is that she gets the knots out without your wanting to scream and cry. Not only is Taylor one extremely talented makeup artist, she's also amazing with eyelash extensions! My first experience with lash extensions was with her and she was quick and they came out beautiful! Not to mention 3, nearly 4 weeks later they still look good! Can we just discuss first impressions?! Taylor is gorgeous! And I knew from the start allowing her to fix my brows and do my make up I was in the perfect hands! So from a previous waxer my brows were left uneven and shorter than I care for, and taylor didn't hesitate to tell me how she was going to correct the unevenness, but also she was going to walk me through how to fill them in and make my brows perfect! The waxing was painless, and she was quick and efficient. Then when she was doing my brows, she handed me a mirror and showed me how she was going to correct the length and help me fill in the little bit of unevenness which can only be fixed with time. She made my brows kardashian standard perfection! My make up was natural and flawless. She blended the perfect color for my face and used the perfect shadows to make my eyes pop, but without looking like I was wearing a ton of makeup. It felt great and lasted all night!
