I went to this nail shop, located next to the 7-11 and the Jack in the box off of Santa Rita Road at Valley. It is now called "Star Nails" and is under new ownership. When I walked in, I immediately felt like walking out. The place was small, dark and messy. I really wish I had followed my intuition and bailed. I hoped that this was not their way to sanitize their work tools, and bravely sat down. The man that worked there was mid twenties and spoke English. I received a super lame pedicure (lasted about ten minutes total). Actually that might have been for the best, as I was worried at this point about the cleanliness in this place. The floor needed to be vacuumed *majorly* and there is not a bathroom in the shop, just this one old sink with the before mentioned tools soaking in it. The fill was ok, but the polish started fading / chipping three days after. Also, since no bathroom exists he wiped my hands down with alcohol instead of having me wash them in the sink. Read Less
