This place is terrible. I had a pedicure done here and the lady actually stopped during the leg massage to watch TV. There was no pressure or anything. I told the owner and all he had to say was to pay for my pedicure and to come back later for my nails. I'm sorry, but not really, I'll never turn here again and I will NEVER tell my friends about it. I'm new to the area and I tried this place based on the reviews .. BIG MISTAKE! Ben was horrible.. did my manicure in such a rush. Poorly cleaned my cuticles even after I told him to clean them. Then I asked him to file my nails correctly and he gave me attitude . I like them the way I like them.. Kim did my pedicure I asked for a deluxe.. she poked my pinky toe so hard it hurt so badly I got tears I my eyes .Alissa was the saving grace in my experience. If I ever come back it will be for her. I am not sure why there are such good reviews of this place. As someone who has had their nails done all over the bay area on and off for almost 20 years, this place was barely mediocre. First, the staff seemed to be annoyed that I brought  picture of what I was looking for. The technician that was available was not able to shape the stiletto nails I asked for without help and I was left with terribly uneven and crooked nails. Some were not even bonded to my natural nail correctly. A full set took almost 2 hours and I was passed from person to person to try and pull off a simple ombre. They ended up painting my nails with regular polish, glitter polish then covering that in gel before the regular polish was dry. As the day went on, the gel topcoat started to drift and I ended up with big pits in the polish. I asked why they didn't use glitter acrylic to achieve the look I wanted since that is what the picture showed. They informed me that "you can't use more than two colors in acrylic powder" which is utter nonsense, because I have had it done before. They also told me they couldn't do ombre in gel polish (also nonsense since I went home, drilled everything off, reshaped my own nails and did ombre in the gel colors I have at home). This place is full of lazy nail techs, if you want one color and don't want acrylics, they may be ok... but otherwise not worth the time. I should have known from the pictures posted that this place was pedestrian at best. The nail implements used were in a container marked "soiled" and didn't appear to be clean. I have gone to this place twice. The owner is very rude and doesn't welcome the guest. She just entertains (may be) her regular customers. Others just follow her instructions. I remember a time, my nail artist was in the middle of painting my nails and was called by her to set up pedicure chair for another (regular) customer. First time I went with a picture from their yelp pictures only, the owner said to my nail artist that she lost all the brushes ( huh??). I feel they charge more than what they actually do. It wasn't "Professional" for guy who talked to my wife on the phone on Christmas Eve to make her feel like crap for being 10 minutes late. Just had a death in the family and really didn't need it. YIKES! $15 for a manicure. I wasn't expecting that. However, Sandy did a helluva good job on those cutes. She was getting all up in there, making sure the nail was perfect. A very nice little arm and hand massage to boot.A nice arrange of colors. Be mindful if you do have a preference, no Essie here, only OPI. A nice row of massage chairs for those pedi's and waxing in the back. Plenty of parking, which is alway a bonus.Overall, a tad bit pricy for a mani, but if every time is as thorough and pleasant as it was with Sandy, than it's worth it. Read Less
