I bought the Groupon for my wife's birthday. I called several times during business hours and only got a never ending ring as I was trying to set an appointment. Eventually got a vague text back asking if we were trying to get an appointment and so I scheduled an appointment for my wife and her friend for a Friday afternoon. They went at their scheduled time and were completely turned away by the workers who were rude and said there was no appointment booked. They didn't apologize or try to book a new appointment, but just basically just shewed them out of the door. Worst customer service of a nail salon ever. Working So we never redeemed the Groupon and want a refund immediately. Worst experience and to add to that it was my wife's birthday present.. on her birthday... --This review is for my gel manicure with Nicole only.  I have not tried any other beauty service here--After 5 years of acrylic, I needed a break!  I tried getting regular gel manicures at the basic nail shops you find on every street corner and was never satisfied.  The gel manicures at all the other places would still peel off early because I am so active.  I came across Miyuko on yelp and read reviews about the odorless and organic gels they use and decided to give them a try.  Reviews were mixed but one common theme was that the manicures lasted for weeks.  Nicole is the one who helped me and she did a great job!  She paid extra attention to detail and the owner gave me a first time customer discount proactively!  This place is not average nail shop and it is much more expensive than your typical shop, but the fact that my manicures last for twice as long already makes up for the extra cost.  The only "con" is that the manicure does take much longer than your average manicure.  At a typical nail salon, it takes about 30-45 min for a gel manicure.  At Miyuko, it will take 1-1.5 hour for a gel manicure with a little nail design.  So make sure you set up an appointment and plan accordingly! Walked in and was accommodated quickly! I got my nails done the way I wanted it. I brought in pictures and showed Bonnie, and she easily did it! She also helped me pick a nail color that she thought looked better. I got a groupon and was treated the same as any other customer. It's a cute store and very clean. The third time I used my groupon (bought a 3pack deal), I scheduled an appointment during their open hours but when I showed up for my appointment, they were CLOSED. Mind you, they called me that morning saying "See you today at 5pm".... I was a fan of my manicures lasting about 3 weeks each time, but I don't think it is worth $40+ for a shellac manicure, so I will not be back unless I have a groupon! Read Less

I give this place two stars because I am incredibly satisfied with my nails. I got some stones and designs on them and the crystal parts are holding up pretty well. I came across this shop on instagram and I drove an hour to get to Pleasanton to get my nails done here. The reason I'm giving this business two stars is because the employees were talking mad shit in Chinese. I'm not Chinese but i speak and understand Mandarin. Anyways the girl doing my nail was complaining about how complicated the design is that I wanted and she didn't want to take that long on my nails because she had another customer coming in soon. I already had acrylic nails plus gel designs on them from my trip  to Japan and the nail tech was basically talking badly about my nail job and how I must've gone to a cheap Vietnamese place (lol I got mine done in harajuku and I paid over 18,000 yen). Anyways it wasn't a pleasant experience at all because i understood everything they were saying. If you can't understand Mandarin I recommend this place since you won't know what they're saying and I mean, my nails look good. But I won't be coming here again. I felt really uncomfortable here. Not impressed.Came in for a shellac manicure. My nail tech rushed the whole process. They do not soak your cuticles. Normally when you get a manicure you leave feeling like your cuticles are clean and pretty but not the case. She painted two very thin coats and was going to call it a day but the color looked almost translucent when it clearly wasn't suppose to. I asked her for another coat of color, she did it. She didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped, my nails were not even when I left and I had polish all over my fingers. So happy I found this cute little nail salon! After getting regular acrylics that have done nothing but damage my nails, finding this place was definitely a godsend for me! All the girls here are so wonderful and talented. You can tell from their work that they definitely have a passion for what they do. I've come here twice and Bonnie has done my nails for me both times. She does such a wonderful job with what I ask and I never leave disappointed. I will definitely be a regular here. They specialize in gel design and I would recommend making an appointment! It allows the girls more time working on your nails and it's so worth it. I saw a sale on Groupon for this salon so I hopped on it and gave this place a try. I called to make an appointment and was able to get a same-day appointment. Booking was pretty easy, despite the curt lady over the phone. Upon arrival, I found out that with the Groupon, you're limited to certain gel polishes and cannot ask for a design. The actual experience was just okay. Linda was sweet, but I've seen better work before. It's been about a week, and my nails have been holding up pretty well so far, so I am pleased with that. I found this place through Groupon, now I am a regular for eyelash extension with Bonnie. She is thorough and I love how she is focus on my lash and ask me what I prefer. There's mink or silk. I'm Asian so I choose silk bc I barely have any lashes but it isn't as glam as mink. Both are good tho. I have posted pics of my lashes! Love them! Read Less

TL:DR - friendly service and long lasting nails for an expensive price without the hand massage and soaking. It's a cute little salon with a wide selection of nail polishes from Japan to Korea. But be sure to make an appointment before coming in! The longevity of their manicures are fantastic! I got my manicure on September 2nd and it has already been a month with it all still intact with no chips. Miki was the one who did my nails and she was very professional. I came in looking for a grey color but the one she recommended looks way better. It was like a mauve color. Very neutral and it goes with everything. I have had received many compliments! Also the staff is very friendly and helpful in making recommendations if you're super indecisive like I am. My mom had a manicure too with the Groupon she had bought. She got cat eye nails! It was pretty dope. Changed colors in different lighting. But with Groupon there are a lot of limitations of what you can get. We had to pay a little extra for cat eye. I'm only giving it three stars because you don't get the same typical manicure treatment like at other salons. There isn't a bowl of water to soak and soften your cuticles and no massage. Read Less

Amazing go to when you just want to relax and have super cute designs is a must try out place all the gels  here are imported and organic so super good for nails unlike acurlyic is ripping your own skin. Read Less
