Be careful where you put, and whom you let touch your personal items here, ladies and gents.
I have been a patron of the different BNS locations since 2007. I even had my entire bridal party get mani/pedis here. One thing I really dislike, after being in salons that manage to be practically odorless, is that the smell and lack of proper ventilation in this location is unbearable.
Secondly, I met my sister here for a mani/pedi, left a generous tip, and then had my day, and now week, totally ruined when I saw that the woman who was helping me had ruined my purse.
One of two things happened: Her hands were covered in acetone, or the armrests covered in white towels in the massage chairs were covered in acetone. I called today to see if they would try to fix the problem, which would be easily seen if reviewed on a surveillance video that the manager claims to have access to.
I told him that as a business, I would try to make my customers happy and not to just save myself a dollar. When I used to work customer service, this was the cardinal rule. He basically said, "Anything could have happened. She never touched your purse." When does a nail salon worker ever let you touch anything when your nails are wet?! He also said that the towels on the arm rests never touch acetone, which is not true, since she took my nail polish off on top of the towels.
I'm really disappointed and will never be a patron of ANY BNS again. There are so many other high quality salons in the area that it would be ridiculous to do so. Hard lesson learned for the consumer when people run their businesses like this.
Silver Lining: At least hopefully, I can help someone out there avoid this. Read Less
