Very Disappointed! My daughter got a gift certificate from her grandma to get a full set of nails done by Chris. I called in advance to make an appointment for her with Chris. Unfortunately someone else, assuming a new girl did them. Crooked, lumpy and glue and polish left around her nails. I used to recommend this place to people. I will not in the future. I didn't have the best experience here. The customer service was very good, and I was able to make an appointment with no problem, and that was appreciated. Halfway through my pedicure, however, the nail tech took apart the lighted jet in the tub where my feet were soaking, and proceeded to clean it with his gloves still on, and then grabbed my nails and began working! Super unsanitary. Also, I had purposely grown out my nails with the intention of having a gel coat put over them, and he trimmed them down super short after I had said I wanted to keep the length :( It did look very busy in there though, and I have had multiple recommendations to try going there again, so I am hoping that this experience is out of the norm and will be different if I decide to go back. I wish I could give less than a star. The communication here is horrible. They don't listen. They badly ripped my nail off and still has not healed correctly. The first picture is the day of and the second is a month later. I kept saying stop and he continues to dremel my nails away. I had to get up and walk out. We had a girls day and went in to get some full sets and pedicure, the wait was non existent we got in a seat in no time. My besties had a great time and looked amazing. I had a great time until the side file on my nails. Painful let him know and he lighted up. Great back to a comfortable time. He went and painted my tips. Needless to say they had to get redone completely. I didn’t have a bad time at all. Loved it and stuff happens no biggie. Just means I get to sit there longer and relax while watching tv. I am loyal to my nail girl but I come to sassys for my pedicures every time! I'm always greeted right upon walking in, and upon being placed in my awesome (somewhat new) pedi chair they hand out a water! We all know how important hydration is :) The facility is clean and the tubs always get wrapped in a new liner. They have two flat screens that usually have the travel channel on and I get to watch some awesome food be prepared and get new recipes. I've come here lots of times and I never leave unsatisfied! Chris is a wonderful business owner & very polite & professional. He makes you feel welcome every time. I had a Sassy Pedicure done yesterday by the older lady Amanda & WOW did she do an amazing job!!! She pays attention to detail, shes GREAT at massaging your legs & feet & overall very professional. I would suggest this place to anyone. They have more employees now, so if you make an appointment, the "walk-ins" won't take your slot because they have more hands available. I had a great experience here. I recommend the "sassy" pedicure option which includes paraffin wax treatment and lots of exfoliation and foot and leg massage. At $33 I thought the price was very reasonable. I went in on a Saturday around noon and the shop was busy but I was still able to get in right away without an appointment. Thank god because I was in desperate need of some pampering. The lotions and exfoliating scrubs they used smelled heavenly and helped me to relax. Their massage chairs were in good condition, and they have a TV placed on the opposite wall so you can watch. I love that they had the Food Network on. I love cooking shows. All in all it was a perfect hour of relaxation and my technician did a great job on my toenails. I can't wait to go back again! Read Less

Such a fantastic pedicure. My mom and I were able to call ahead 1 hour and get an appointment for a Sassy Pedicure. This was our first time and won't be our last. The shop is clean, nicely decorated and has comfortable massaging chairs. They had a lot of colors and offered a variety of services. We paid extra for the two nail design- they were able to come up with some beautiful big toe designs. The place was a bit busy, but we did not feel rushed. Very friendly salon workers :) Read Less

I called at 515 to find out what time they closed and was told 6. I left home right away and arrived at the salon at 540 to get a pedicure and was told they were closed. I explained that I was told 6pm and she said they only take customers until 515- this information would have been good to have when I called. New to town so I prefer to use Yelp to get an idea what our community has to offer.  I take the worse and best comments with a grain of salt.  One common comment I read about Sassy nails was that customers appointments were often ignored.  I walked in for a 12:30 appointment and was informed that I had to wait 10 minutes and the receptionist kindly apologized. I smiled and said no problem I will wait. Okay, now it's 1 p.m. and still have not had my nails done.  I expect customer service,  customers are number one. This was my first time st sassy nails. I made an appointment and I'm glad I did the shop is very busy , and turned away a couple of people because they were too busy. I got a pedicure. The woman who did my toes is awesome. They look really good, and the massage was incredible. One of the best I've ever had. The shop is clean, chairs are new and work really well. Im not from this town. But i'm glad i stopped by. Im not sure why they only have 3.5 star reviews. But when i first walked in, Chris greeted me within 20 seconds. He said it will be about 40 mins wait. End up the wait was only 30 mins. Chris did my nails. He was very patient, careful and made sure everything was perfect on my nails. I haven't been in this nail salon for over 3 years. It was my friends birthday and she suggested we try Sassy Nails off Broadway, again. So, I called on Monday around 5:10pm and spoke with a guy and scheduled an appointment for 3 lovely ladies for today(Friday)  at 10:30. Skip ahead to today(Friday), we show up and the receptionist says we don't have an appointment and that they can't get us in until 12:00. She told me that she is the only one who answers the phone calls. She then proceeded to tell me that I probably made the mistake and I actually called the Cameron Park Sassy Nails. So, I step outside check my phone log and sure enough there is their phone number(530) 622-2700 for their Placerville Sassy Nail and there is the time I called. I go back inside to show the receptionist that I wasn't the one who made the mistake. That they made the mistake. But great job blaming the customer. I guess the girl receptionist isn't the only one that answers the phone calls.This is the exact problem I had the last time I went in, 3 years ago. I'm from O.C. visiting family, decided to go out for a pedicure. Found this place fairly rated on Yelp, so went for it. I got right in, but when the dark skinned, older man greeted me and walked me back, I was already hesitant. But I gave it a chance, and boy was I wrong! He didn't remove all of my previous dark green polish, cut my toenails too short (without even asking if I wanted them cut), he then left one big toe nail longer than the other. Even after I corrected him, it still wasn't right! He quickly got through the cuticles and left dry skin around the edges. His polish job sucked and in the end, you could still see dark green edges around the new pink color, and his flower design was very elementary. My 8 year old daughter could have done better.Once I was put in the front to dry further under the fans, another employee noticed me picking at my toes, and she came up and asked what was wrong. I proceeded to show her what was wrong. She asked the man to come fix them, but even then, there was no hope without a whole new pedicure! The only positive thing I can say about this man, and my experience was that he gave a great massage! When I checked out, he still charged me $29.00 for a messed up basic pedi for which I had to go home and fix it myself. Now its going to take 2 weeks to grow this mess out! Read Less

I just wanted updated my review because I've been here twice since my first experience and both times I had to Wait a lot even tho I had an apt. First time o had to wait around 45 min!! Second time I was there for 30 min. Not very happy about that Jimmy is a new guy working there and he does a fantastic job! I have shellac nails and he did a very good job. I have no idea why this place has bad reviews, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the area demographic. It's a typical, walk in nail salon. The owners are Asian (gasp, the horror! *please note that this is sarcasm*) Apparently they just moved to this location from a smaller previous location. I showed up at 9:45am and had no problem getting right in. A few other ladies walked in around 10:30 and things got a little busy. My nail tech was friendly, and did an excellent job! I got a basic mani ($12) and pedi. ($23). It took close to two hours for both, because she did such a wonderful job with the shaping of my nails and the massage. Also, they didn't try to manicure and pedicure me at the same time like some places do. I appreciate that. If I'm spending the money to get my nails done, I like to take my time and enjoy the experience. My nails look great. The massage chairs they had were awesome. Everything was very sanitary - they even had disposable covers for the pedicure tubs. This is my new go to nail salon. Read Less
