I pretty much NEVER leave Yelp reviews, but Tony was so amazing so I just had to leave one.I called a little after 6pm to make sure they can fit in a full set even though they close at 7pm. Its only down the street from my house but I never go to get my nails done, but this was a special occasion. Tony is so funny and very personable! I showed him a photo of a similar way I wanted my nails. He looked at it for like 2 seconds. He asked what I do, what the occasion was, things to give him an idea as to exactly what I wanted. I told him, because I never get my nails done, I'd like them to have a natural shape and length to them. Everyone here is kind, outgoing and caring! They are genuine people who are happy, friendly and really want to get to know you! I called for an appointment and there was no wait when I got there, like there usually still is at other places. They were ready for me! Also, they speak English which is a great plus. I had a fantastic experience here and would recommend it to anyone who is extremely picky about their mani & pedis like I am! Great attention to detail!I received a gel manicure from Loan for $27 (includes the removal of previous gel, $25 without removal). I've been going to nail salons for 25 years and this one is by far the best. Tony and Heather, the owners, treat their customers like family and make you feel welcomed and special. They go out of their way to accommodate and deliver exactly what you want. They won't try to sell you things you don't need or want. Visited recently for the first time and got a pedicure from a woman named Loan. She was very friendly and talkative. She seemed to really want to get to know me, and I got that general vibe from everyone in the salon. They chatted with their customers & were overall very friendly. Loan worked carefully on my nails and was detail oriented. She cleaned up my cuticles nicely and gave me a long foot massage. For a solid $17 I got a great manicure. One star taken off due to it taking a very long time. If you have time to spare and can spare over an hour for a pedicure this is your place to unwind. If you need a quick pedicure look elsewhere. I just got my nails done here for the first time. Very friendly. Very talkative. They're super eager to please and it seems like they want each customer to become a regular customer. Don't go if you're in a rush. I was there for an hour and a half for a basic mani, pedi, eyebrow wax. An hour and a half and they even skipped the massage (per my request) because I had to leave. And I left with wet nails. Even still, I was there for 90 minutes. My manicure looked decent. Too many coats of polish so it looked thick. My eyebrows and pedicure looked great though. I'm not sure if I'll go back. It depends what kind of mood I'm in. If I feel like socializing and I have no where to be, I might  return. But if I just want to relax and get in and out in an hour, I'll go somewhere else. Read Less

Worst customer service everrrrrrrrrrrr!!! The hair lady Heather said she'd do my hair for $85 then she changed her mind to $180. I was thinking why would I pay $180 for a place that's not even salon quality. But I came back and agreed to get my highlights done for $180. Then she changed her mind and she says she can't do it today she doesn't have time. Okay so you made an appointment with me but you don't have time ? You said it's only going to be $85 then changed price to $180 then say you can't do it anymore. Worst customer service for hair ever. Don't go to them for hair..... I have been going to this shop for 15 years and I don't live nearby. Since day 1 I have felt like family hence why I commute. Tony is a great owner, does not penny pinch and satisfaction is his most important goal. I will never cheat on Hi Top Nails. I stopped in at Hi-Top Nail Salon on my way home from work. When I walked in I was greeted by a man who asked me what I would like done.  After informing him I would like a gel manicure he asked me to sit while he checked availability. He came back quickly after exchanging a few words with a co-worker and stated that he was sorry and that he "could not take me." No explanation or time frame of next availability; basically bid me "good day!"I left with the gut feeling I had been turned away based on some sort of bias so I immediately picked up my phone when I got in my car. I dialed the salon number from the banner out front.  The same man I spoke to inside had answered the phone, and so I pretended to be another customer inquiring about their availability. I asked if they accepted walk-ins and he answered, "Yes."  I asked when there was an opening and said that I'd like to get a gel manicure done.  He replied, "5 minutes." Annoyed and saddened by the confirmation that this establishment had in fact turned me away unfairly, I hung up the phone.  Five minutes later he called my cell number back and left me a voicemail to tell me they were ready for me.
