I never write reviews but I wanted to share my experience. My mom came to this salon my whole life and I was in town so I was excited to try it out. My pedicure was good and my nails looked fine. After I got a fill and gel color change. It was the worst experience I've ever had. I told them what I wanted and they still decided to do it their way. The French tips were all different lengths and sizes. I'm normally too shy to say anything but it was horrid. I told her to please fix and she was extremely rude and smart about it. She sped through the job, didn't, pay attention to detail, and I ended up with an uneven, streaky tips that weren't completely white, and weren't all clear coated. Their products on top of the half a.. job where very cheap quality. Worse $50 I've ever spent!!!!! For $50 any other salon would have spent more time making their customer satisfied and wouldn't act like they're an inconvenience. Read Less

The owner was very rude and aggressive when I came back to get my nail fixed for the second time in 2 days. The older lady got in my face and was talking loud and aggressive because I questioned the nail tech who was fixing the same nail again. As I was walking out she told me to never come back to find somewhere else to get my nails done because I questioned why the lady was putting glue and a tip on my nail that was cracked across the nail bed. My first time I visited this place, the lady that did my nails had absolutely no smile what so ever, she had not spoken a word to me except for what kind of nails I wanted, she massaged my hands for about 10 seconds, there were still some color left over on my nails from my previous polish, I asked her to removed them, she did 2 fingers but didn't bother to do the rest, she was not friendly. I told her this was my first time here, she didn't have any reaction, at least have some customer service, afterall, I am a customer.  I am not sure if I am going to re-visit them again, if so, she is not my pick. I came in to do my nails here I payed for a gel color a few hours later when I get home my gel started pealing also when I was getting them painted she was in a rush doing them the polish is all over my fingers so messy. So I called the store back she tells me oh come back tomorrow we are getting ready to close I let her know I can't come back weekdays I'll come on the weekend she said ok we will fix it for you so I went back it 2 days later on the weekend and they tell me there busy they can't fix it for me i show her my nails she said ohh that's horrible I'm telling her yes now you know How I feel. But she still told me to come back Monday I'm telling them I can't do weekdays only weekends and there telling me we are very busy we can't I told them I'll wait I don't mind This is your guys fault not mine they still told me they are to busy so as soon as I tell her give me back my money I paid to go somewhere else she said ok ok wait 30 min so now I'm sitting here waiting but never again I will not come back no way.. to Read Less

I've been coming here your 5 yrs & for the most part things run rather smoothly however if the owner isn't here you're guarantee to WAIT FOREVER even after making an appt., without fail. Or you call for a specific person, schedule the appt. then get here & that person is off ALL DAY, which is so irritating, that's why I call & don't just walk in so as to avoid this!!  It doesn't help that there's a language barrier either cause they just look at you when you're already furious as if they don't understand why you're furious!!  I understand she needs days off but she might want to consider who's left in charge!! I'm so disappointed in this place. I was making a quick stop on my lunch and I came to try this place. All I needed was a quick gel polish change. I'm going on vacation this Friday and I grew out my nails specifically for this trip! The lady that started my nails was nice and she soaked the gel for a very short while. Then she began using a cuticle tool to peel the gel off of my nails which is not the custom.As I told her it was hurting she ignored me. Then she began to file a buff my nails but the gel was still stuck on and should have been soaked maybe 5 minutes longer. As she filed I told her I wanted my length and she filled my nails unevenly and I lost all length. I got up from the chair and another women asked if she could try and fix this. As she then proceeded she noticed that this gel take off was done completely wrong and she tried to fix it but the damage was done. I ended up leaving and not continuing on. My nails are horrible and I'm so sad that I had to experience this. I will NEVER go there again. Read Less

Worst pedicure ever and my technician didn't speak English so I couldn't explain what I didn't like about it. So frustrating. She basically went through the pedicure motions without paying any attention to actually scrubbing or softening the calluses on my feet. Their service is absolutely horrible. I went to go get my nails done here for prom and they came out really bad. I asked for coffin shaped nails but they were very uneven. When I showed the lady doing my nails she completely denied they were uneven and it was just me. She continued to do my nails and more came out uneven as well. She missed many spots in my nail when she was painting them. Please do not come here. Customer service is bad and so is the service itself. Read Less

Let me first start off with saying that the service here is great. I was offered free lotion samples and water while I waited. The salon it self was seemed kind of cluttered but had an island type of feel (hence the name). As far as nail color selection, it wasn't that great unless you were doing gel nails. When it came down to the manicure, the nail technical took her time and even gave me a really nice massage afterwards. Now this is the huge fall of this place. The quality of work these ladies put In is absolute pathetic. The acrylic was extremely thick and uneven. Now the price was really cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. I like coming here when I take my car to Bubbles Car Wash because there is usually a long wait and the car wash has limited seating. The prices are awesome- $20 pedicures with parafin wax, $20 shellac manicures.They do a pretty good job here, but it's not my favorite. The massages are so-so and the place is a bit cramped. They are nice, but they don't really engage you.Also- No Credit Cards so bring cash! Read Less

I regretfully told myself last time I went here I wouldn't go back but I was in a bind and forced myself to go in here.  Big mistake.  Ever get so frustrated that you either feel like beating the person that caused the frustration or just crying and getting it out.  Safe to say- I didn't need bail money but cry I did.   My nails looked horrible.  There was Polish everywhere and the nails were filed horribly. I went in and asked if they would be able to do my hands and feet and get me out of there by a certain time.  I was reassured yes though I had my doubts.   The woman that started my feet kept stopping to check new people walking in and no one started my hands.   By the time someone started my hands I was told that Polish wouldn't dry by when I wanted to leave and there would be no design.   I told her fine I just wanted to be done at this point so just paint a French tip so it at least looked nice.   I guess that was too much to ask.   I had Polish everywhere and the woman left it.   I will never go back to this place again even if someone else is paying.   Horrible customer service. Came here for a gel manicure and pedicure. The old lady painted all over my skin and still failed to paint the tips of my nails. The paint job was so horrible my nails are all lumpy. Could've saved myself the time and money and did it myself.  So dissatisfied! Ruined my day. Read Less

Came around 6pm to get a pedicure. Was a 30 minute wait. Got into the pedi chair around 6:30... I understand they close at 7pm, but c'mon put some effort into your work because you will not get tipped at all. $20 for a pedicure is definitely something you cannot pass up but the lady that was doing my pedicure was young, she look like she was about 20 y/o maybe younger (Idk, you know these Asian girls never age unless they wear ton of make up) She did a horrible foot massage, it was just all rubbing like she was hella lazy. I'm paying $20 to get my foot rub (not even a massage) I wear heels to work M-F so my feet need some scrub and love. When she scrubbed it, it wasn't even hard to where the dry skin fall off/smooth out. Did a lazy work, and on top of that she made me sit there for 25 minutes for it to dry, it usually dry in 10 minutes and the hot wax treatment that leaves your feet smooth, well she left some wax on my feet when she peeled it off. So I didn't tip at all, usually I tip $5 or $7 if they did a good job, guess she was just lazy and couldn't wait to get off work. Read Less

I got a manicure and pedicure or there yesterday on Valentine's Day. I think the owner was the one who finished up my manicure and she did a horrible job she was really shaky because she was rushing because it was Valentine's Day and there was a lot of people there but the thing that I'm most mad about is I got it done yesterday and today which is the 15th they are all chipped so I think that they use really cheap nail polishes they didn't even have any OPI brands, their colors look old I wouldn't recommend to go there ever.
