My sister and I found this little gem a few months ago and we both agreed we will never get our mails done anywhere else ever again! This is the best nail salon I have EVER been to, period. The staff is incredibly friendly, the shop is clean, beautifully designed, and there are no chemical smells. The owners have taken care to design the shop from the inside out and it really shows. They even serve water and tea to you while you are being serviced. If they are busy, they are still accommodating and caring. We have had a reflexologist give us massages with our pedicures... High expectations but low delivery. Don't visit on a Sunday as they are super busy and the team do a rush job.. which is not good. I have been there at least a dozen times and sometimes its good and some times its not. After my last visit where it was so rushed the nail polish was a mess within 5 mins of leaving, I will not be visiting again even though I live in the village! I came here with my future sis in law and 2.5 yo a couple days before her wedding. We had an amazing experience! The place is absolutely beautiful, equipped with a gorgeous bar inside where you can order drinks. The owner was very gracious and popped a bottle of bubbly to toast the new bride!As for the service, I can't say enough how pampered we felt. I'm usually on edge when I bring my daughter to salons because you never know if they're going to throw a tantrum. Well, the owner helped my daughter pick out her nail color and even brought out a box of nail decals for her to choose! The employees were definitely skilled at their job and made sure to listen to our needs.My pedi was fantastic! I was able to add a 10 min foot reflexology to my pedi and I nearly melted into my seat. The salon also offers facials, waxing and microblading. I was really surprised that my hair cut at this place was $75. I'm from SF and that's what I pay at a nice salon with experienced stylists. This place is not that. I always thought Isabella was a really nice nail salon, the bar and the pedi stations are amazing! Unfortunately, I worked there at the front desk for only two days. I learned that all the problems with this place come from the top, it felt like the owner just worked the girls, they worked none stop with client after client. Everyone that came in we had to tell them that there was time even though we knew there wasn't and that all the techs were busy. I felt really bad because people with appointments would end up waiting for their service and walkins would be seen right away. On top of all that it seemed like the owner was just watching everything thru the cameras, because if I told someone that we were all booked she would immediately call to complain. Also people give horrible tips for such hard working women, their already been exploited by the owner, don't be a bad tipper. I was not expecting much, as some of the other reviews were not great.  The place was empty when I arrived, also not a good sign.  And it was raining, which would mean (for me, at least) that if my hair isn't perfectly dried, I would end up a frizz ball 15 minutes after leaving.  End result?  Might be one of the best blowouts ever.  Fantastic.  And it managed to last all day and the next looking perfect, and would likely have lasted longer if I'd given it a chance.  Great! So please don't be turned off by the bad reviews folks. Long story short, Iris left Isabella, went to the Blow Dry bar on Lakeshore (where I found her) and then came back here so the salon is running smoothly now. I loveeeeee Iris and April. I stalked them to find out where they went after the Blow Dry bar on Lakeshore refused to tell me.  I even bought a package at the place I used to go but just never used it cuz Iris and April aren't there anymore.  Anyways, I stalked them to find out where they were and I'm so happy I did. Iris is the Dominican blow out Queen hunty. And April will having you feeling like Beyoncé. They never disappoint. She's so nice and fun to chat with, especially as I'm a Holy Names High School alum and her daughter is currently a Holy Names student. This was my first time here only because I have to follow ALEX to whatever salon he is at. That's how much I love what he does to my hair. The place is really cute!!! And as always I was not disappointed with my hair. He is the best when it comes to styling, dyeing hair, and extensions. My extensions came out looking so natural and awesome!!! I moved further away from my hairstylist of 12 years, so I was looking for a new stylist. I tried Isabella's since I love their Nail Bar down the street. They were able to schedule on short notice, which is a plus for me since my and my 3 kids' schedules keep me very busy. I was not disappointed! I have curly thick Asian hair and was always afraid to try someone new. Raeden was just the stylist for me. He listened to what I wanted and was mindful of the health of my hair. Now in my 40s, I'm always worried about my hair ever thinning or breaking. He did just enough highlighting without damaging my hair and I loved it!! This review is for Bertha. I came here with a Groupon to get a hair cut and color. Bertha did the most unprofessional job on my hair. For starters, she started by cutting my hair first on DRY hair (never have I had a professional cut my hair dry.) The haircut ended up being horrible. The worst I've ever had. I told her to cut off 1.5 to 2 inches off - she ended up cutting 4 inches. She didn't even tell me how much she was cutting before she went into the hack job to let me feel comfortable with what she was taking off. She just did whatever she wanted.Then, it was time for the color. Another sign of her unprofessionalism - she used a bottle instead of a brush and bowl. I'm guessing just because she is lazy and doesn't want to spend the extra time to do a good job. I dye my own hair platinum blonde (I do it myself because of cases like this - I hate going to have someone else do my hair, pay lots of money, and then have them fuck it up). I told her it was a bit too cool/ashy for my liking and I want her to warm it up a shade. I even brought my hair extensions to tell her which shade to match it to to make it easy. This shouldn't be that hard. She ended up picking a TONER TO WARM MY HAIRCOLOR?!!! WTF? Who does that? After watching out the color, the toner didn't do anything. I wish I never came here. I had an awesome blowout by Iris! She thoroughly washed my hair and transformed my curls into beautiful straight hair. She has mastered the blow out!! I love that she didn't use a lot of heat to straighten my hair and she's super quick! She was also fun to talk to while getting my hair done. I came home and got an immediate compliment from husband who rarely notices when I do something different to my hair. I am very particular. Bertha was very personable and went right to work making suggestions and working  well with my curly hair . Jessica and Iris are friendly and fast and really really good. I went in for the first time last year and now I go every week!  Jessica does the blowout for me which lasts me all week (as long as I am careful with the shower cap) and she also colors and cuts my hair.  I get lots of compliments and she is much more reasonable than my San Francisco colorist.   Twice, when I had special occasions, Jessica made an appointment for me outside normal hours. the customer service is nice and the technicians are great.. the only problem in this place is about tips for technicians..im a royal customer in this nails salon, every time i went there i always leave tip in credit card because i use credit card to pay, i always give the technician a big tip, but the next time i go there and ask the technician " did u receive my tip" they always say they dont know..it's not just happen once or twice..that's why i strongly recommend customers give technicians tips in cash and give to them in person, never go through anyone, no matter they're owner or manager this shop, because you never know what they r going to do with your tip.
