I really like this Spa. They've moved to a new location and it's quite large. It has its own parking lot and it's pretty easy to get there. I enjoyed my services and they were reasonably priced. This is a nice place to go to get away from everything. They do the hair and makeup for the Rose Court for the Rose Parade so that's kind of fun to see those pictures when you go in. Bought three of the $59 Travelzoo facials for my mom, my sister, and me.  The three of us independently thought that it was the WORST facial we've ever had.  The estheticians were nice, but the facials themselves were horrible.  Way too few extractions, poor pressure on the facial massage, no post-facial glow. Can't believe anyone would pay full price for these.  Had to book facials elsewhere to make up for this!! Plus 1 star because the staff and receptionist were professional and accommodating, but that still can't make up for lack of expertise. Read Less

I really wanted to like Spa Sante because I was a loyal client of Amadeus.  We went for massages having high expectations.  For the prices the spa is lackluster and isn't in the same category as other spas who charge the same.  The technicians were ok, not great, definitely had better.  The relaxing area also needs an upgrade to have clients feel the price they paid is worth it.  They served us beverages and chocolates that they advertised would come after the massage.  The chocolate they served were Hershey kisses - which was disappointing. I had high hopes for this spa as it's so close to my house - but unfortunately will have to drive further to get my hard earned monies worth.  Spa Sante, please raise the bar of your services and facilities to match your prices! I was looking for a Spa to de-stress at and needed a new haircut. I decided to come to Spa Sante after hearing it from a family friend. After my amazing experience here, I am definitely coming back and will be recommending this spa to my friends!LOCATION AND PARKING I had no trouble finding the spa and finding parking. The spa was easy to find being right off the 210 freeway and across from Hastings Village. Instead of parking at the plaza or along the street, there is plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the spa. STAFF AND EXPERIENCEI couldn't be more pleased with the staff. As I walked into the door, I was welcomed with a warm greeting and was attended to right away. I told them I came for the internet special and wanted a haircut. The staff overall was professional and extremely friendly. They showed me around and the dressing rooms, restrooms, lockers, and showers were extremely clean. In a few minutes, I had my massage first. My masseuse was Rose and she was definitely an experienced masseuse that relieved all my knots and applied pressure to all the right points on my body. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep during the massage! It was a much needed massage and afterwards I felt so rejuvenated. Finally, I got my haircut. My stylist was Tina and I am already planning to have my next haircut appointment with her. She was very personable, listened to my instructions, offered advice, and most importantly gave me an amazing haircut! I was having trouble finding the hairstyle that fit me and after showing her some pictures of hairstyles I was interested in, we had a conversation on what haircut I was looking for and talked about what would look good with my face structure. Tina was very knowledgeable and definitely knew how to give an amazing haircut. It was apparent that Tina took her time with my haircut and really wanted me to be satisfied with my cut. I was really happy with the cut that Tina gave me because dang did she make me like good. CONCLUSION After the massage, facial, and a haircut I felt like a brand new man. This was something I really needed and Spa Sante exceeded my expectations.I highly highly recommend this Spa to anyone! I am looking forward to coming here again. What an incredible experience at this warm and friendly salon! Everyone on staff is incredibly personable and the quality of care is outstanding- from massages to hair cuts and color. I was looking for a stylist and colorist to give my hair a great layered cut and to add shine and natural color to my blonde hair. The staff, formerly of Amadeus, is professional, honest, and great at what they do. I booked appointments with Tina and Denise for the next year and have referred my family and close friends for their upcoming appointments. I look forward to coming for many years to come. Trish did an amazing job with my pedicure. Very professional and took the time to make me feel relaxed and happy  she does a very detailed job I love that, this place is very clean. I don't go to the cheap hole in the walls anymore because you never know if they are sanitizing properly. My experience was not a pleasant one for such an expensive spa. First when trying to book an appointment (for a gift certificate I had that was about to expire in a few weeks) I left TWO messages and no one called me back. I finally sent an email and I then received a call back. The receptionist was less than pleasant and when I told her I had a gift certificate she said "we donated that certificate" as if it had less value. My husband paid A LOT of money for it at a silent auction for a high school fundraiser . (It would have been cheaper for us to go directly to the spa to purchase services, but it was a fundraiser) I didn't appreciate her attitude. Once I was finally scheduled and I arrived I was not offered a robe ( I was getting a gel manicure, facial, and a massage) so I didn't get the full spa feeling. My "gel manicure" started chipping on the THIRD day! I do want to say that Prima ( I think was her name) who did my facial was amazing!!! She really listened to my concerns and took her time. Joia for Massage.  Kimberly for facial.  These two ladies did exceptional work.  Kimberly was gentle but thorough.  Joia's massage was superb - finally I have found someone who can give a thorough deep tissue massage that still leaves you feeling relaxed and peaceful instead of beat up.  Joia is incredibly gifted and a lovely person as well.  The spa had easy parking, a sweet staff, and very comfortable treatment rooms.  A great find! I just found out that the best massage therapist in the nation has found a new home at The Spa Sante and Salon. Her name is Joia.  I just moved back in town and I am super duper excited!!!! I don't know how long she has been there but I CAN tell you that she is definitely a top notch therapist, OMG I can't wait to get an appointment. I must add that she has the kind of hands that can heal the sick. Truly God gifted hands to say the least. I have a women's group and we have been searching for a spa home in Pasadena. The thing I've always loved about Joia is that she's flexible with home and office visits and now that she has a new spa home, this makes it even more convenient. I can't wait to book my appointment. I was torn between giving this place 3 or 4 stars. This is my first actually affordable spa experience in LA since moving here in 2013. They have daily specials so I decided to try it. I booked their same day Signature Massage. In the description on the email, it made it look like I get a 75 minute massage, and I get to choose between hot stones, aromatherapy, and a foot scrub. But NO... You get all three! For $90!!! Amazing. And complimentary parking to boot. The layout of the facility is just okay. The woman who checked me in brought me to the locker room and in her instructions to get to the resting room, she actually said I would have to take three rights to get there. I wandered around a bit in my robe and ended up in the main salon waiting room. Having no idea I just sat down, but was kindly escorted to the real resting area. Upon later inspection I found that there was really only one sign within the three right turns I had to take. The locker room was clean and had most of the supplies included with other spas with one notable exception: no body lotion anywhere. I could have missed it though. The locking mechanism on the lockers felt antiquated and complicated, but they had instructions posted to help. The resting area was nice and relaxing. Some women in there had tea and water, but I couldn't figure out where they got it from. The massage itself was amazing! Like I said I was surprised when I got aromatherapy, hot stones, and a scrub. I will definitely be back. My spa habit is expensive, but this place won't break my bank. Read Less

My friend heard about the daily internet special from her friend and for the day I went, it was for a 60 minute massage and 45 minute facial for $99!  What a deal!  Surprisingly for a Saturday, we had no problems calling in the morning for a 2PM appointment.  Plenty of parking in the back.  We arrived just in time and quickly checked in.  The staff was really friendly and showed us around.  The dressing room and restroom areas were clean.  They had a couple showers.  The locks on the lockers were confusing that I ended up having to get it opened so make sure you read the instructions properly.I had my massage first and the therapist that I had was really good.  I want to give her a shoutout, but I don't recall her name. :(  I have to say she was the best I've had though!  She was a petite lady with small hands, but knew how and where to apply pressure that she relieved all my knots.  Felt so good afterwards that I felt really relaxed.  Facial was also good.  The esthetician was friendly and personable, while still remaining professional.  I enjoyed the spa day.  Hope to go back again some time. I have been going to this spa since I was 12 years old when it was still Amadeus.  I moved with them because of my love for their employees... unfortunately a few of my favorites have since left.FIVE stars for both Prema and Carmen.  If these two ever left I wouldn't drive all the way from San Marino to this location.  -Prema is an amazing esthetician.  I go to her for my brows/facials and I will never trust another human with my eyebrows as long as she still works here! She is amazing.-Carmen is probably one of the best masseuses I have ever had.  She is strong and knows exactly how to fix my sore muscles without it being overly painful.The only reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the location and the building.  The location is pretty inconvenient compared to their old one on Green Street where it was centrally located to everything in Pasadena.  Also, the windows and walls seem to be pretty thin because I can hear traffic etc. when I am getting a massage.  Their daily email deals make all of things worth it. Had a Deep Tissue Sports Massage by Kathleen. Sooooo great. She had the perfect tone of voice and touch for a thoroughly relaxing experience. Facility is very nice, too, but not overdone, very conducive to relaxation. Lots of overstuffed leather furniture, which I like. Nice locker room so all your valuables can stay locked up subject to your own personalized combination lock.
