I've gone here multiple times and never had a problem. I have gone other places and had my acrylics removed PROPERLY and ETHICALLY and removed them myself at home and never had an issue. However, two months ago I went in to remove my acrylics to get gels to better work at my new job and the wife of Tony clipped them down with cuticle cutters and then shoved an acrylic nail into my nail to remove my acrylics. This resulted in ripping off the entire lower half of MY real nail! I was bleeding and she continued to try to work on my hands. I immediately went to the urgent care where I waited for 5 hours to be given an antibiotic cream so I would not get an infection or fungus or anything. This made me livid and I will never be returning here nor will my family who had been going to them or friends. I do not recommend going here for services. I always hated getting my nails done because I used to think it was a waste of money since they wouldn't last long. I started coming here since beginning of the year and I am so happy I did. The acrylics I get always last, the gel always stays shiny and smooth, I looooooove this place and Skinny guy and Vee are super sweet and funny. People that complain that they speak in their native language are low key racists who feel uncomfortable because they don't understand and feel like they owe them shit, if you don't like it go to an English speaking nail technician. Amazing! I think I've found my new go to salon. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I am so pleased. The staff is friendly, service efficient but incredibly detail oriented - I've never had such clean cuticles! -, and the price is had to beat. I noticed a review saying the salon does not have many color options but that is not true at all! This salon had hundreds of both regular and gel polishes. I love this place! V always hooks my nails up! She's the BEST! I've known her since I was 15. She always knows exactly what I want! Skinny is fantastic as well one of my very great best friends went there with me and doesn't go anywhere else anymore. Even though she travels all the way from Carson she will wait to see skinny for her nails. Absolutely a PLUS about their products they use is that every time I get my nails done they last for months even when I've needed a fill for 2 months they will still be perfectly intact! Skinny hooked me up!!! Skinny's acrylics are done so well. He can do any size or shape exactly to your specifications. I requested a longer almond shape with a pointier tip and thin but strong nails. I found my go-to place for acrylic fills and pedicures. I can walk here from my home and the owner does a great job with acrylic.  The only downside is they are cash only and charge $1 to use a debit card.  But, since they do a great job, I am a return customer...mostly with cash :-) Read Less

I got a full set of acrylic nails for $20 + $1 fee (since I paid with my debit card)  Here's why I'm giving this place 4 stars:- She gave me the short length I asked for- The nails aren't bumpy or curvy- I love the color combination she picked out (I wanted something natural)- I came in 5 mins prior to my appointment and was seen right awayI will definitely be back and I hope to receive the same service *fingers crossed*. I've been going here to Vi and Skinny for a long time and I haven't gotten around to giving them the praise they deserve.First off let me say I've tried many places before but for me I get the best here in terms of color selection as well as customer service.I now only do gel nails and I will tell you that I've never had them chip here but rather my nails grow out with the gel color. $20 Acrylic nails? Yes please. I walked in on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't terribly busy, and I was greeted by skinny guy. He's very honest and tells you the prices up front, which I loved. Although Exotic Nails isn't your typical lavish nail salon, it gets the job done in a quick amount of time for a great price. If you want to come with multiple friends, I wouldn't say this is the best place because there's not a lot of chairs. BUT, the work is fast, hygienic, and good quality. Do NOT go here for SNS manicure! They don't use the actual SNS brand powder or polishes. When I went in to get the service itself, I had a good experience. They were nice and she did good cuticle work. I went in for an SNS manicure. She showed me the colors and I chose mine. She the came back with the powder, which was an off brand, so I asked her about it not being SNS. She said they were just the competition and just as good dipping powder as SNS. She also said she buys big bottles of SNS polishes and then pours them into smaller polish bottles, which was why it looked like she wasn't using SNS polishes either. I can tell you they were not all SNS polishes for sure because you don't have to seal SNS with a UV light. Mind you I normally get SNS and it lasts me two weeks at least before cracking. The "SNS" manicure I got here cracked the same day, chipped on day two, and is totally messed up now on day 3. I paid for a SNS manicure and would have been better off with just straight nail polish. Regular mani pedi for $25. Take walk-ins. Good, cheap and quick. The younger girl is a bit rough on the edges. The older guy appears to do most of the fake nails and gels. I heard him say $35 to the lady. Overall, not too shabby if you're looking for a quick fix. Read Less

***Meticulous service, Cheap, Accommodating without reservation***Without a reservation, you may have to wait a bit but it's worth it. They have private parking (huge plus!), the nail salon itself is small (about 4 pedicure chairs and 4 nail stations). Gel manicure is $25 and any designs is $1 a nail. The staff is very meticulous and they take forever to do your  nails (which is a good thing in my opinion especially with how cheap it is). I highly recommend trying this place out. Read Less

I have been a customer of Exotic Nails for about 4-months now. I love the way my nails come out every time which is I why end up coming back. However, I recently had a terrible experience. The service was unsatisfactory! I was in a hurry to get my nails done on a Saturday afternoon and I rushed out of my house with only my Discover card in my purse. I went to exotic nails, got a gel manicure and it had came time for me to pay. I handed them my discover card and they said they didnt take discover. I was so embarrassed because I had no other forms of money on me! I decided to let the worker know that I would have to go home to grab another source of $$ and I would be right back. I left her an personal item that was about the same value as a gel manicure to assure her that I would be back and she started to make a scene! She wanted me to leave my $700 iphone with her and I kept trying to calm her down and tell her that didn't make any sense and I would do no such thing. After 10 minutes of being yelled at and humiliated by the worker I got in my car and proceeded to go home (of course the lady got a picture of my drivers license and my license plates which I was not to thrilled about). I came back about 30 min later with my tab in cash plus a 20% tip for the inconvenience. I was very upset that the worker did not recognize that I was a frequent customer and understood that I had always paid and tipped her every time. It was extremely upsetting that she made the situation worse by making a scene when she shouldn't have. Just because of the customer service I will NOT be returning to Exotic Nails. *And to think she made such a big deal for 25$ with a frequent customer.
