I came here on a week night with my bestie.  We did not have an appointment. They weren't too busy so I was able to pick my nail color and sit down right away. I came for a pedicure. I usually go with a glossy pink or coral but I decided to go for a metallic color this time. The service was great. I felt that they spent a good amount of time on the pedicure. The water temperature was perfect and staff was friendly. My friend ended up getting gel polish on her finger nails. She also enjoyed her experience but just didn't like that they filed the tops of her nails. My pedicure came out great but lasted slightly shorter than other pedicures I've had but that could be due to the metallic nail polish I chose. The location of this salon is great and right next door to a Starbucks I believe. Parking isn't a problem.I would recommend coming here for an affordable pedicure. Read Less

Thankful that this nail salon is nearby, everyone is nice and they do a good job.  I went with my daughter for a fill and she wanted a manicure and was very surprised that the original girl that helped me was no longer there, so Moon did my nails and they came out good, my only complaint is that she used the nail filing drill and she nicked me, so just maybe a little more careful with that. I've been coming here to Cosmo Nail salon for over a year. I've taken family and friends here and we love it. The staff are friendly and they do a great job! They do a wonderful job on gel nails also! Today, I adventured out of my normal visit and tried a full set, and Moon did an amazing job! She was so precise and took her time with every detail to match the picture I showed her. If I could give it a minus values I would. My wife had the displeasure of suffering through a mani/pedi here and trust me, she will not go back. Not only was the polish applied poorly, her toe nails were clipped extremely short. So short she ended up with an ingrown toenail. Read Less

I came into this nail salon knowing I was only going to get a regular manicure/pedicure. No fake nails; no gel. You instantly feel like the enemy for not being willing spend extra money. I also bite my nails. I asked the nail artist, Anne, to help shape my cuticles. She cut them so quickly, she made a few of my fingers bleed. She then proceeded to not tell me and not clean it. She didn't file my baby nails or clean under them. She painted over the blood and left me. I understand I don't have the prettiest nails. I also understand I don't have a lot of money and still wanted my nails done. I am willing to pay and leave a decent tip. I started going to this nail place when it opened but stop because of rude staff. I decided to go back because I heard there's was a group of new people. I went in for a French tip pedicure, was not satisfied. First the lady cuts the skin below my toe nail and tries to say that I had A NAIL on my skin ! Really ? The manager/owner tries to find out what's going on and while I'm trying to explain she's speaking over me in their language, unprofessional. Stop by to get my nails done. As I walked in I was asked what services I needed and let them know. I sat down on one of their chairs in the front. After a minute I was told to sit in one of the back chairs. I waited 36 minutes yes I was keeping track of the minutes. Andy came and started on my nails. He was great. I went in to get my acrylics filled and they were all different lengths and shapes. I told the guy who was doing them to fix it multiple times and he ended up making my pinky nail smaller, thinner, and more narrow compared to my other nails! He said he was going to charge me to fix it so I left it. My mom then went in for a pedicure and the guy who was doing it rushed it. Her polish was not smooth at all and her toenails were different shapes as well. She asked if someone could fix them and the manager gave her the same guy. This place is horrible the customer service is so bad. I went in for a pedi and full set. I will be completely honest my pedi came out great (like it should). My nails on the other hand are horrible. My sister and I both had a lady named Cindy. Although she was decent, she is horrible at nails. I paid $50 for "ombre" style nails and it came out soooo terrible. She cut me 3 times (all on different fingers) and she was so rushed at the end. I was her last costumer and before we started I asked her if she has ever done ombré nails and what she thought of them. She said yes and it was "very easy". You can be the judge from the pictures. This place was awful! I don't write reviews but I had to! They double dipped when I was getting my eyebrows waxed which is nasty, people go get their lady parts waxed!! Also I asked for my lip to get waxed and she waxed my lip along with my cheeks! I expected my face to be a little red but not like this! I'd rather spend more money knowing I'm getting it done right! My experience was blah... I got to the salon around 6:40pm Friday. The gal that did my pedicure rushed through it. Never spoke to me nor made eye contact. She didn't do well when it came to scrubbing off my calluses, I had to ask her twice to slow down and go over my feet. She then polished me, cleaned up her station, did her cleaning around the salon and left? So of course she got NO TIP. The gal that did my mani was very nice and took her time however a day or so later I've notice that my gel nails are discolored? Like stained?? Was here over Memorial Day weekend and they were slammed packed. I waited a little more than I normally would but that was to be expected especially considering the time I came. When I was getting worked on the gentleman took his time and I didn't feel rushed at all even though there were more people coming in. This nail salon used to be my favorite place in the entire  Antelope Valley. They always took their time and I was always happy with the result of my nails and toes when they were done. But recently they have been doing horrible work . Even when it is completely empty in there they will still rush through your nails to get done quicker for some reason ?  I showed my nail tech A picture of these nails I liked online and the color , but I couldn't find a color close to it so I asked for his help or suggestion , he huffed and puffed with all kinds of attitude and finally said to me "mam can u please just pick a color". To make a long story short , my nails looked like crap and I just wanted to get outta there. 3 DAYS later the gel color on my nail was already starting to discolor and come off , so I went In and they would not give me a refund , or a certificate towards another service. He only wanted me to sit down and get my nails RE done RIGHT then .... ummmm no , and I didn't have time. Let's just say I will NOT be coming back. Read Less

They always rush on my pedicures or manicures no matter what package I get. My manicure is already chipping off and it's only been a day. They never cover your WHOLE nail in polish and leave crooked lines. They need to be more attentive, my manicure looks like it's already a week grown out and it's only been 24 hrs ! Read Less

This place is so close to where I live and my mom wanted to try it so we went. So upset with the service here. I distinctly told the lady that I did not want my nails super short. Not only did she cut them shorter than I wanted she thought that it was okay to leave them looking like the AT&T signal bar all slanted and not straight. I was so upset I couldn't even be there anymore. All of my toe nails are now shaped differently and make me not even want to wear sandals. This place is horrible and it was the worst 40 dollars and pedicure EVER! Never going back- even if it was the last nail salon in the antelope valley. Went in for a full set yesterday. I didn't like the way the nail tech left my nails and it seemed as if he was serious and rushed. Didn't make any type of conversation so I just sat there awkwardly watching tv. His work was a bit sloppy and didn't pay much attention to detail which is what I was truly looking for coming into a facility like this one that looks posh. I just left this salon and I just have to say I am so happy I will not go anywhere else again. Scott did my full set with gel color and he was amazing! The staff was so friendly and fast.
