Nothing relaxing about the room, bed was uncomfortable, dust on my fingers from the facial steamer and esthetician couldn’t get the steamer to work. I thought I had an okay experience until my feet started getting itchy days after I got my pedicure. I ignored it up until I decided to take off my nail polish today(3 weeks in) because my toenails started hurting and was going to paint my toenails myself anyways. I had my nails done here today, and I'm  so disappointed. I just wanted a full set. I had asked if doing an ombré nail is something that I could have done... he said yes. They didn't have the colors that I asked for, and the application was terrible. It looked like clumps of acrylic on my nails. The nail tech cut me several times trying to file down the mess he created. I wish the nail tech would have just told me he couldn't do what I asked, and I would have went another route. I had been there for almost an hour an a half now watching and flinching as he's filing , then I just asked him  if he could just go over the acrylic with a solid gel color. My Fiancé and her friend came in here to get their nails done and she received the worst customer service they have ever experienced from the MANAGER. They were pointed to and told to stand in line very rudely by him and the quality of the job they received was horrible. First time came in at 3pm to get told they were closed when clearly the sign said 5pm and there was a room full of people. I've been here twice with two complete different experiences. One time was a one star experience, the other a five star experience. The five star was a super quick fill appointment. Lady was super nice and quick. Second time was a cut down and an overall mess. I told her I needed them to look as natural as possible because I was starting a new job. She said no problem. Nails came out super thick and unappealing. I noticed this before the polish but she said they'd look different once the polish was on.This wasn't the case so she tried to fixed them the best she could. We have gone several times and enjoy it. We go for simple Mani/Pedi. Sometimes there is a wait, but it's a small shop and can get really busy. Never had any issues. Staff is friendly. I spent quite a bit of money on a gel manicure and pedicure. Within 24 hours, my toenail polish lost a huge chunk to it. Within three days two separate gel nails are now chipped and look horrible. My gel polish is also lumpy and uneven on several nails. Not the quality I expect when spending that kind of money. Andy was really great. My issue was with the lady that showed me the prices, because I was told a certain price for a pedicure & a full set. I wasn't told about all the extra "fees for pink & white" salts in the water, and lighting to dry nails. I would of just gotten a reg nail color, no salts ( which she added before I even began my pedicure) nobody told me about $10 extra!! When I called to talk to her about my $75 charge she made it seem like it was my misunderstanding! I won't be coming back here!! I will be sending a letter to the better business bureau. Every experience I ever had with this place was completely terrible. One time they made me wait two hours before they even would do my manicure. Another time they made me wait after my pedicure to tell me that the guy who was doing the diamond nails was leaving and wouldn't be back until two hours later. I had to get my nails done then and had no time to wait. I then told them I might be back when he arrived and would call. I managed to go get my nails done somewhere else and... called cane bay spa to let them know that I wouldn't be coming in....only to be informed that I owed them $25 more dollars for my gel pedicure because they didn't charge me enough, which I paid $35 for!!! Are you serious?! They then called me a liar saying I didn't tell them I had gel polish on, which I did! The person that checked me out wasn't even the person that did my pedicure, so to prevent confusion they need to have the person check out the customer that they provided the service for. Shop is nice but application for gel nail polish is awful. I came in for a replacement nail on my pinky and a polish change. This isn't my usual nail salon, I was a first timer. I was impressed by the decor in shop . But by the time I started getting my nails done , I soon became unimpressed. The nail tech used the drill so much it ripped my skin off and made my nails sore. However I enjoyed the service I received from Katherine the most.  She did a wonderful job. It was the best gel mani-pedi I have ever received. Shop was nice, staff is friendly but I'm really surprised the prices were so high here. 35 for a full set (short) and the job was definitely less than perfect. Small  details like acrylic all over my fingertips is annoying to me especially because I do nails. Let's see how well they stay on. They look nice but lots of little mistakes like dents and acrylic under the nails too. Few more steps to perfect the job would have made a big difference. Most manicurist focus too much on getting another person in their chair instead of doing an immaculate job which is what will land me as your client. I was planning on getting a gel mani/pedi, as I was looking at the bottles of nail polish the guy wouldn't leave me alone about looking at the nail swatches instead. I told him I didn't need to, I was picking between several colors that I had gotten in the past.... He wouldn't stop rudely harassing me about it, then he scolded me for ope...ning a bottle to see the color, lol "It will dry out" he said. I've been here three times, each time with one or more of my sisters / friends to get acrylics. Our first visit wasn't entirely awful, however they did cut me up a bit. The second time was for my sister's birthday and they seemed to be happily attentive to us. My sister loved her gel nails, while I was pretty okay with my acrylics (once again, there were several cuts).The third time visiting here was by far the worst and is why I'm leaving this review. My first two visits should have warned me given the atmosphere. They never really seemed very caring about their work (save for the gentleman who worked on my sister's gel nails the second time) and were always rough, but being less knowledgeable about nail services I wasn't fully aware of how to find the best place. This DEFINITELY isn't it.My best friend and I went in to get some pre-vacation acrylics done. We made the mistake of saying "manicures" instead of acrylics at the front desk. Each time I'd previously been there, the techniques had varied so when they did things a bit differently I wasn't surprised. While we sat there getting prepped, my lady asked me about my bitten nails and asked if I ever get acrylics. I told her I don't normally but was going to for my upcoming trip, and the conversation ended there.A few minutes later my friend turns and says, "we're getting acrylics, right?" Both ladies working on our hands stop and start speaking rapidly at us that we said we didn't want acrylics and that this is why they asked us beforehand. I said that I did say we wanted acrylics, but apologized profusely that there was a misunderstanding. As they did not speak English very well, I completely understood where there could have been a mix-up and felt terrible about it.The following treatment was OUTRAGEOUS. I was moved to a new table at the very back corner, a few seats up from my friend. The woman working on my nails was now VERY rough and brisk, and did not take the time and care that I had previously been treated with before this mix-up had occurred. More than five times she repeated to me that this is why she had asked me about acrylics and that I was in the wrong, so I just kept apologizing. I felt that this was rude because I had already apologized and did feel bad for the mistake made.Both women working on our nails and around the salon started speaking in Vietnamese to one another and gesturing to my friend and I as they spoke. They were very clearly angry, which was incredibly disrespectful. At one point a woman working on pedicures came over and was laughing at me, said something to the woman still roughly working on my hands, and my lady rolled her eyes and gestured to me as she said something. The whole atmosphere was extremely negative.She hardly paid attention to the nail process and cut me several times. In the end, when it came to actually painting my nails she did so few coats that it was SUPER see-through and as she went she kept bumping into my freshly painted nails, leaving bumps, indentations, and completely clear bits of nail. She did not clean these up and was finished with me well before my friend was done. As soon as she was done, she quickly left the establishment as it was close to closing time.My friend and I were both overcharged $5 for the start of the manicure, which consisted of rubbing our arms with lotion for all of twenty seconds each. Given that I paid for all of these services, I am highly disappointed in my nails and the work ethic displayed here. Between cut up cuticles, talking negatively about my friend and I with us sitting right there, and intentionally doing a half-a**ed job - I do NOT recommend this nail salon and will never be going back.In addition to all of this, as I was putting my polish back on the display, the woman who had came and laughed at me rudely barked at me to ask if I was going to pay "or what"...I'm leaving this detailed review in hopes of warning others. While a very select few workers here seem to care about a job well done, it's really a HUGE hit and miss. Apparently they seem to think that being incredibly rude and executing poorly done acrylics is okay for a simple mix-up. Proceed with caution and if this happens to you - stand up to them. Moving to the Acton,  it is hard to find a decent nail salon in Palmdale.  Every place I visited can not do gel nails to save their lives.   Bellissima atmosphere is so relaxing.    It looks like you are walking into a real spa.    Their service is nice.  Bringing me a bottle of water doesn't sound like much but none of the other places do this for their customers.   They are a little pricey for the gel mani and pedi however they did it right without bubbles or peeling after a couple of days.     I had Henry and Mary take care of me.  I will use this place again. If there was 2 & 1/2 stars, I will give them that.  First of all the name of place is Bellissima but operated by a bunch of Vietnamese people.  That's like oxymoron.  Second, they openly speak Vietnamese in front of clients.  Very rude.  Price Pedicure $25 & gel $35.  Jackie was good for my pedicure but the other girl did gel manicure was very lousy and unprofessional.  My nails look uneven because that girl with short hair was not paying attention.  I also had to tell that girl to fix my cuticle five times.  They offered white people water but they did not offer me anything.  I will only come here for Jackie, not for other girls.  Very rude & unprofessional, I will not recommend it.  And they tell everyone 10 minutes wait but actually more than that.  Also the lady who sat next to me was getting her gel nail removed, instead of soaking her fingers in chemical, they were clipping and yanking them off her fingers, those broken gel hit me twice.  You are supposed to soak those fingers in chemical before using the file... I was trying to get to another nail salon, but I couldn't find it, which I thought was ridiculous.  So I drove around a bit and found this place.  I'm sorry to read the horrible reviews, but when I first walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall ambiance.  I didn't smell nail salon smell (you know, the sanding of acrylics), which I greatly appreciated.  The staff was courteous as well.  There were no random televisions on or odd music, so it was very peaceful.  The staff also didn't talk to each other a whole lot while working, which makes a difference on the service.I really enjoyed my pedicure today with Jackie.  She spent about 30 minutes on my feet, which I greatly appreciated.  The pedicure was $25, plus $5 for callus removal (which I desperately needed, and Jackie scrubbed my feet really well for a long time) and $5 for a hot stone leg massage (which really helped my legs and feet).  I thought it was a good price, especially given how much time and attention she gave me.  And no, she didn't cut me or paint my toes in a sloppy way.  I also didn't feel rushed to leave right away--she told me to relax, and I sure did!I do wish, however, that I had been told the prices of the add-on services beforehand; I still would have gotten them, but it's nice for me to know going into it.  That's the only reason why this rating is not a 5.I will definitely come back.  Like anything, you have to find a good technician and stick with him/her. Please do NOT go here!! For some reason my mom comes here all the time because she just got used to going here. I went with her for the first time and decided to just get a pedicure. The man who helped me was Not very friendly to begin with but I was trying to make the best of it. As he was clipping my nails he pulled and a piece of my skin snagged and instead of stopping he pulled and ripped my big toe skin (which is now soooo swollen and looks like it's getting infected) After all of this I didn't pick out my nail color yet so I walked over to pick one out. When I came back to my chair the man who was helping be (Andrew) was sitting there CLIPPING his own nails with the SAME nail clipper he used on me!! I was disgusted as he finally put the nail color on me while I was surrounded by HIS nail clippings. I asked to speak to a manager after and he told me there wasn't a manager. So I wasn't even able to express how horrible my experience was. I feel so bad because my mom is such a loyal customer here and I was treated so bad. DO NOT go to this place. i dont live in the area but my sister does and we decided to get a mani/pedi. First off my sister asked for a nail repair and the lady used her natural nail to try and pop off almost a full nail of acrylic. My sister pretty much jumped out of her seat causing water to splash everywhere. She did not even soak the acrylic and then try to remove the nail. My sister only wanted a color change so she just asked the lady to paint her nails, she did not know how to paint nails. The nails were streaky. so my sister decided nevermind she doesnt need any services. Then with my manicure i decided to go with a more soft pink and asked the gentleman to get one for me, and my sister tried to assist him in the right direction but he did not want to listen to her. He turned around and rolled his eyes. So my sister went and got the polish and gave it to him and said this is not baby pink this is candy color. WTH! Obviously he is color blind because it def was the soft pink i was looking for. The next day i noticed my finger starting to hurt and as the days went by the pain got worse. Turns out i received a cuticle infection. I called the salon to let them know and they said this is the first time this had happened. But little did they know my sister is a hair stylist in the area and she just so happened to have someone in her chair whose friend had a similar situation from the same salon a couple weeks prior. I went into the VIP room got my nails done with three other girls. when i got home i already noticed that my nails were chipped or they used watered down polish.. .i called back that day and told them . they told me to come back in. i couldnt make it. so then by monday i noticed that 4 of my toes were chipped. i called back and the lady told me that she would have to see if it was them or something i did to them because they dont know what i did to my feet. this place was horrible i do not recommened this place to anyone.
