So I just moved to Palm Springs a few days before Dec. 29th 2017. I walked in and they took me. Which at that point I was happy. They said they were busy when I first sat down all 4 lady’s were doing nails but finished within minutes of me sitting down. I asked for a pedicure and a full set. They told me that pedicures were completely booked. But only 1 person was getting a pedicure when I walked in. That lady then got her nails done after the pedicure. After about 10 minutes of sitting there while that lady was getting things ready 2 lady’s were done. 1 went for lunch the other was just walking around either on the phone or looking for something to do. I then showed The lady doing my nails what I wanted. She says ok like that exact picture I say yes! It was a ombré pink and white with my ring finger with chrome! Then A slight ballerina shape. Instead of telling me up front she couldn’t do it, She started. I am going to school for my license in cosmetology. So for it to be better for the customer it’s good to put a clear acrylic layer on the bottom before putting color acrylic on. So I figured that’s what she was doing! Boy was I wrong! She didn’t do the shape I wanted, didn’t do the ombré I asked for, and didn’t do chrome! She also did them way shorter than what I wanted! I walked out of there pissed! She did NOTHING I asked for! She couldn’t even file properly! They were not smooth at all and looked like I had at least 2 mountains on each finger! She said she did nails for 25+ years! I will never go there again! And I will make sure my friends don’t waist there money or time here!! So not only did she do a bad job but she didn’t build The nail properly. So my stress point cracked before the two weeks. And nails are to last at least 2 weeks! A nail snapped at the pressure point on Tuesday 9th 2018 in the morning! 4 days before even reaching my exact 2 week point! I was also charged way to much! Nikki is a skin magician! I came in for a facial with concerns on hyper pigmentation at 47 that was aging me. I had one spot that she helped me remove. I later came back for a full chemical peel. At this time she also set me up with a simple skin protocol and products which I could easily follow and keep to. Three months later my skin isn’t recognisable. I finally had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Scot (after a mutual friend's recommendation)... He is an amazing stylist who really knows his hair and he was super cool! I have 3 1/2 half foot long hair, which is not the easiest to cut, & I hadn't cut it in 27 years -I haven't trusted anyone enough to work on it, so of course I was very nervous at first... but my worries in chopping off the hairstyle I've had for so long quickly faded as he made me feel comfortable & c...alm throughout the process -I totally trusted in him to make the perfect cut for my kind of hair. Scot did exactly what I wanted!!! He made me 20 lbs lighter while still keeping my hair long, and he's a pro at layering. I was so excited to see the final result & let me tell you, I'm a very happy customer & will come back again...I wouldn't trust anyone else. The salon is very nice and the staff was so nice and professional. Christine is the BEST!!! She takes her time and has such an attention to detail. She really wants her clients to leave feeling pleased and happy. The consideration she has is rare. I used Salon 119 for my wedding day hair, and Aide was amazing! We did a trial run about 3 months prior to the wedding. On the actual wedding day it was me, my mom, and my mother in-law. We all had appointments, but time was tight, and we all needed to get beautiful!! I was stressed out (big shocker!) but Aide and Lori totally calmed me down, and my mom and my mother in law got pampered!! My hair can be challenging -- it's super curly!! Wow! I can not say enough great things about this spa. I'm visiting from Texas, in Indio on a family vacation. Myself and 3 other gals of my family wanted to have a day to ourselves for some relaxation. We called several "spas" in Palm Springs, Indio and the surrounding areas and none were able to accommodate all of us. I found Salon 119 on the Mind, Body, Connect app that I use to book my Spin classes through back home. From the moment I spoke to Lori on the phone, she help...ed me as best and as quickly as she could on VERY short notice. She was able to get our entire party in for 3 massages, 2 pedicures and a facial. Simon was my massage therapist and did an excellent job and I felt like a new, relaxed woman when I walked out of his room. Sabrina was my esthetician and gave me lots of helpful information for my oily, acne prone skin while making me feel comfortable and relaxed. My grandmother also enjoyed her massage from Simon and said he took great care of a problem area on her hip. Athena gave my aunt a wonderful massage and pedicure as well. Anyway, if you are from the area or just visiting, I would recommend this salon to anyone! You could truly get pampered all in one place here. If I am ever in the area again, I will be back!!! While on vacation, two of my nails started to chip earlier than expected and I had a party to go to so why not treat myself to a nice spot in Palm Springs, right? I get my nails done every 2 weeks, 3 tops. I don't mind paying more for a clean, high quality salon. $45 for a mani came with some great expectations. Results: total disappointment! The lady was very nice and sweet. We talked and, as usual for me, I paid little attention to the quality of the work. I noticed she was using quality products so I assumed quality work. So wrong. I paid & walked out. As I got to the car, I looked at my nails in horror! There was paint all over my skin! The color didn't completely cover my nails at the edges and to make it worse, the red color I previously had was still showing on the edges! Thinking back, she didn't even clean my cuticle. I politely walked back in and asked for another coat to cover the edges. She agreed and explained the color I previously had was hard to take off. Really? I mean, a quick nail file would have done the trick, but whatever. One more coat later and I was still disappointed. Color still didn't cover the sides, I can still see the red in many places and now I had cheap, uneven looking color. Nothing short of completely starting all over would fix this. I can't wait to get back home and run to my regular salon to fix this. Until then, I'm picking at the edges to break off the color that is on my skin and grossly over my cuticles. Worst pedicure ever . Like other of the reviews wrote They  escorted me to the back and the lady  She started with my pedi and I notice right away this isn't going to be a good pedicure . She barely touched  my nail, didnt cut the cuticles , or scrubbed the bottom of my feet.  she didn't even clean under my nail or try to clip the ingrowns or even my nails .I posted pictures of how my toes look after leaving this place . The manager Lori apologies and offer to get my toes repaint my toes for free  ! Seriously   , repaint  only ? and she mentioned that Joyce the lady who help me is very good and experienced in what she does .
