I went in for a manicure/pedicure, the pedicure was ok but the manicure was the worse I have ever had. I ask for a gel manicure and it took forever and when she finished it was thick and uneven.  The next day I went to Sally's and bought the necessary products to remove all of the gel.  I will never return to this nail pro salon, and I will tell all of my friends about this manicure. Don't waste your time and/or money here!Recently moved from the Los Angeles area to the desert and was looking for a gel mani and pedicure close to home. First the women argued with me about doing a French manicure saying she had 20+ years of experience (in providing a horrible gel mani obviously.)I waited a week to see just how bad it was after leaving with lumpy, irregular French tips. The gel tips are peeling off in large pieces after first turning yellow. It's  the worst job I've ever experienced. Don't ever go there. My pedicure was far from relaxing and so unprofessionally done- also polish chipping. Cheap quality and clearly not knowing what they are doing.A waste of money and time. To be fair, I think this place is very popular for pedicures for both men & women, always seems busy in those chairs. I went here on Yelp recommendations for nails and had seriously the worst fill/manicure I have experienced. I told the nail tech my nailbeds were very thin; nonetheless, she sanded them with a drill and it actually still hurt hours later. She was uncommunicative and answered her cell phone twice (there's a no cell phones rule posted). The new acrylic nails fell off in two weeks and left me with fungus in 3 nails, which has never happened to me in 20 years. Read Less

First time going to this nail salon today to get a full set , came in and the seated us right away. As I was getting situated the nail tech Duy Nguyen  was hurrying me up. I had my son with me and I was getting him seated so he wouldn't be running around the shop and talking everyone's ear off. Duy and another manager looking lady told me twice, "can you hurry up he has an appointment" which is very rude and unprofessional.  He started clipping and filing my nails down. He filed them so much that when he put the primer on before the acrylic my fingers were one fire. It stung so badly and kept saying ouch and oh the hurts but he didn't seem to care. I asked why it hurt and he said because my nals were too thin. I asked Well if my nails were so thin why did you file them down so much? And he ignored my question and just kept working. He also did not remove my cuticles. All in all he did a very poor job, color was uneven, lumpy all around. WILL NOT BE BACK EVER!  $35 for a short set with regular color. What a joke. Read Less

This is the best nail salon in Palm Springs. The salon is clean and well maintained. The owner and staff are all attentive and do a great job. I've been going to this salon since it opened and I return every 2 weeks religiously. I have a regular girl for my gel manicure but I take whoever is available for my pedicures because all the staff is great. Read Less

I was a customer at Nail Pro for 8 years. It was convenient and clean. I did have two fungal infections on my big toe over the years, but cleared them up with drug store remedies. I was into my routine there and didn't want to look further.Now, as I write this, I have a rather serious staph infection between my fourth and fifth toe. My usual girl left the salon and the new one does not speak English. I am reporting this salon to the Health Department and hope they will do an inspection. A word of advice: Don't be like me, if the warning signs are there don't continuie to use an unprofessional salon. It could be dangerous to your health. Read Less

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I came in to get my pedicure and the lady manicurist in there burned my feet with the callous solution. After telling her that she seem to be more mad at me than I'm at her. And when I complained to the manager, not one apology was offer. Overall, it was a bad and rude experience. Read Less

I come here every winter and only see Sonny or Katie. They are super good to me and their work are super. I would give the shop five stars if the owners/managers are like Sonny and Katie, but they are just rude and mean. Unfortunately I called to set my appointment,  but Sonny and Katie are not there anymore. So anyone on here know if they are still working around, please let me know. I just moved to the desert 7 months ago and found this location very near my home and I have got to say I've never had a bad experience, their treatments are very reasonably priced. This review is based on the nail tech: Christine,  and the type of service I received: Gel Pedicure.Reviews of nail salons really need to be tailored to the nail tech that you ultimately get "stuck" with, not the salon itself.   Most of the time,  its a "free-for-all", and hopefully, with any luck, you get a good nail tech who gives quality service.  As far as receiving a friendly outgoing welcome at the door (?).... don't think that should be a part of the review.  But that's my opinion obviously.Yesterday, Saturday, June 20th, it was 117 degreeeeees outside!  I was HOTTT and bothered.  I knew that I was uncomfortable but that had nothing to do with the salon or its staff.  In fact, I have never been to this place before.  I call myself lucky to have been matched with Christine who was very aloof at first but over an hour she and I finally warmed up to each other.  I know.... that without a doubt that I came across friendly but demanding.  It was HOT outside and I was not a happy camper.  But we finally got into "tune" with each other and I discovered that she has many years of experience doing nails and she is very good at what she does.My toe nails were so badly chipped due to some negligence on my part that both of my toenails on the big toe's.... they were ripped down to the core....painful!  Usually I get gel as the nail polish of choice even on my toes and at this point I need to get nail extensions in order to get a full and proper pedicure look.  She did an immaculate job and now my feet look like I have every toenail in place, all straight and perfect.  This is something new for me to have to get a nail tip on my toes!?!As strange as this experience was, it was a very tolerable nail session and I would go back and see Christine as my permanent nail tech at this particular nail boutique in the Palm Springs area. I went in to nail pro today and was pleased with the job the did.  I'm on my feet 8-19 hours a day and have rough feet.  I wish he would have spent more time removing the dead skin.  I am happy with the gel polish and he did match it to the non gel polish on my toes perfectly.  Added bonus I didn't have an appointment and was seated as soon as I walked in.  It's not the best place I've been to but it is clean and friendly. This has got to be the worst nail salons I have ever spent money on. I called to make an appointment and showed up 10 mins early only to sit around and wait for 20 extra minutes until I was sat down. Then my feet sat in water for 15 mins before a lady came to do my pedicure. There was about 3 lady's who came in and get serviced right away. With 2/3 other workers sitting around reading magazines. I have been a customer of Nail Pro whenever we are in the Desert. The wait is usually a little longer than I appreciate, but it's a salon in a mini-mall, for Pete's sake, so I have lowered my expectations and don't expect high end salon service.I am giving Nail Pro one star because the customer service has become non-existent. I have had to return to this establishment on a few occasions to have them "fix" their work. This is unacceptable for a service business. Then I get attitude from the staff when I request that they perform the service I have already paid for.Nail Pro may be inexpensive and convenient, but the attitude of the staff is really lacking. Don't go here if you want any service, let alone good! It was terrible! They only worked on us for 15/20 minutes, were cold, rude & hurt me several times! I asked numerous times about callous remover & got no respond. She rushed us out to get to here next appointment! Then she didn't fix any mistakes and it looked like crap!
