It was a first visit to Lilacque's & I chose this place mainly for the elite 5 star reviews including my best friend's opinion on this location. I am sad to say I did not receive the 4-5 star review the clients received on here.* NAIL ETIQUETTE:The manicurist I had was a gentleman who was in a rush right after he saw many walk ins after I came in. Beforehand, I called if it was possible to make an appointment & he said I could walk in. I didn't wait, but it so happened several others walked in right after me & had to wait at least 30-45 minutes. This manicurist was so in a rush that he had scratched one of my toes & it stung after he put all the other liquids to clean after the polish. On top of that, he scratched one of my fingers with one of the tools & I didn't see it was slightly bleeding after he had finished. * CLEANLINESS: The cleanliness of the place was okay. I did not see any of the tools come out of a plastic & just straight out of their drawers.* Did I come out of here satisfied with my nails? - My pedi was good, the only downfall was the scratch.- My mani was okay. I should have stuck with all white & I just let him choose a gold print on a single finger.- I wanted a certain design & he said he wasn't able to do it. There is only one person who can & wasn't working that day. Overall, I want to give this place another try, but then not with the guy who did this particular session. Do not get your nails done here. I got a full set and pedicure a few weeks ago and had the time to review just now. They rushed the whole process, two women worked on me. My pedicure was hardly a pedicure, at most a polish change. My full set was horribly done. The acrylic was slathered on really thick, and the nails were poorly shaped. The gel nail polish job was really bad too. I used to like this place but will never go back after this last time. I was charged $80 not including tip for a really rushed bad looking job. I will never return. Called to make an appt for manicure and pedicure. Got to appt and they obviously do not honor appts, if someone shows up they will take them and make you wait. Time for pedicure and the water was cold. I told them and they squirted drops of hot water, no difference. 25 min later they wanted to start my manicure and I refused. There was a child in a back room screaming for most of my appt. The lady who did my pedicure started rushing through it and was EXTREMELY ROUGH, almost made my toes bleed, that has never happened to me. I think she was upset because I refused manicure so she took it out on my feet!! Read Less

I am giving one star only because the first few times I came here it was amazing. I first started coming for pedicures and they were great. I went today for a manicure and it will most likely be the last time. Not one of my nails is painted properly. Every single nail has a gap between the polish and my skin all around the nail. The girl that did my manicure (My or Mai which has another bad review) placed two thick coats that have still not dried. I was rushed out of my seat because more people arrived to get there nails done. She told me they were dry, but when I went to sign my bill I smudged one with the pen. I should have asked to have it fixed but I was already upset. Right before i paid my nails were sprayed with what I assume was hair spray to help them dry faster. It didn't. Now I have air bubbles on every nail. On top of everything the guy that took my payment told me that I couldn't come back if my nails chip because manicures don't last and that gel is better. I understand that money is made by the more people they can take in, but every customer deserves time and to not be rushed. Read Less

i gave it only 2 stars and those are for Paul, When i first started going here it was amazing. but over time they started getting sloppy. My mother came in one night and one of the older gentlemen did her nails, he was going rapid speed on the nail drill. my mom was so afraid he would cut her. she didn't like her nails at all. another person in there that i will never go to is Mai, or My. I don't remember. but she's done mine and my girl friends nails. both experiences with her were awful. she didn't listen to how i wanted my nails, and my girl friend is walking around with chipping nails and she just got them done on Monday. the only redeeming person at the nail place is Paul, He is amazing! hes done an amazing job and I wish he was there all the time. He does beautiful work and if he worked in a different nail salon i would go to him more often. That is all. Read Less

Supposed to get lashes done. Told to come at 1130- waited for 40min.. Other then that I tried to stay positive and the lady was nice and offered to do a touch up a week later when one side half of my lashes came off. Glad cus 250$ is not cheap for lashes.. I also loved how she offered to play whatever type of music I liked while doing my lashes! Especially when u lay there for 2 hours. Bitter sweet. Read Less

I'm not one to get my nails on the regular (last time I got acrylics was my high school prom and last time I got a gel mani was last year - but it was my first gel mani haha) but yesterday, I decided to treat myself to acrylics with a gel mani :DI met up with my Tory coworkers here who were also getting manis/pedis. I've seen this new nail salon open a good while ago and glad I got to check it out. My ideal nail design were almond shaped white-ivory nails with a hint of light pink and a gold design on the ring fingers. The mother (I believe) of the family business took care of me by removing my residual red nail polish from my nails, shaping them, painting them and delivered exactly what I wanted.For $45 + $1 charge for credit card purchases), it was totally worth it to look and feel classy and fancy haha :) Love that they have a loyalty program card so definitely want to come back!
