Highly recommend Harbor Nail and Salon!!   I was in the Ventura area and I needed to have my nails done for my big wedding day the next day.  I had my nails done by another salon and my nails did not even last 4 hours before they were chipped and scuffed.  I was in a panic, but I found Harbor Nails in Yelp.  I am so very glad I did.Hue is such a nice person and very customer service orientated.  I felt right at home with her.  Being a newbie to polish, she explain the difference between the regular nail polish and gel and she recommended gel.  My nails looked great and they still do 5 days later!!!  If my travels ever bring me back to the Ventura/Oxnard area, I will most definitely stop in and have Hue do my nails again.Hue, you are a life saver!!! HUE IS AMAZING. She is on an appointment only schedule and works alone from her cute little salon. She managed to get me in last minute which is very rare she explained, as she is always booked. She specializes in gel manicures and pedicures only nothing artificial and she is absolutely amazing, quick, and efficient at her work making sure your nails look perfect. Not to mention how reasonably priced she is. I love how I can have a full on conversation with her, she is the sweetest. I live 3 hours away and I plan on coming back to her when in town. As I step in, they welcome me with a smile, I only waited like less than a minute to be attended (without appointment) then got my wax done quickly and was a great job, the staff is very friendly, got interested in another kind of job they do here (extension eye lashes) once the girl showed me some pic of jobs done by them. I was in Oxnard last month and went to Harbor Nail and Salon for a gel manicure.  It was the best gel manicure I've ever gotten. Seriously. It lasted for over 3 weeks with no chipping at all. Hue is the business owner and the only manicurist in the shop and she's awesome. She's very welcoming and really takes her time in shaping your nails and making sure the polish is smooth.She also guarantees the gel manicure for 2 weeks, meaning if it chips within 2 weeks you can come back and she will fix it for free. Her prices are reasonable also. I live in San Fernando Valley which is about an hour away. It sucks that Harbor Nail and Salon is so far away, otherwise this would be my go-to nail salon. Read Less

Hue saved me!! It was the day before my wedding and I couldn't get a nail appointment in because I got so busy that morning by the time I got a spare moment it was time for the rehearsal. I was freaking out cause my last manicure was over a month before. I called Hue because she was the closest to the hotel myself and my wedding party was staying at. I begged to see if she could take me first thing in the morning and she did!! She met me at 6:45am to do a gel mani pedi for me and they were beautiful!! She was so sweet and professional. Hue (pronouned "Wei") is not only very talented at what she does, she is also an absolute sweetheart!  She is a one-woman shop, so be patient ... she does her best to fit you in ... she is very busy, but not too busy to get you in a reasonable time frame.  She's very accomodating, and does her best, even been willing to meet you at the shop sooner than anyone else would, and stays later than most, also, if need be.  She's in a very nice location, close to the harbor (hence the name).  I've been there three times to get my pedi's done and have always been extremely pleased!  Her other customers, who are very nice and fun to speak with, just adore her also.  Oh, and did I mention she she is quite reasonably priced, on top of all this? She's very welcoming, truly loves her job and is a perfectionist...always leaving my nails looking better than I ever thought possible. Other than my nails growing out, they have NEVER chipped and still look shiny and as if I just had them done for a solid month (and sometimes longer which I've noticed when I have dropped the ball and waited too long between appointments).She's always very accommodating when it comes to scheduling and has a work ethic that is hard to find these days. I don't get pedicures often, so I tried Blossom based off a friend's recommendation - I was not disappointed! Loved the sofa-like seats, everything was very clean, the "menu" of services was easy to understand (and reasonable, too!), and I walked in and was almost immediately at a foot basin even without an appointment. If you've never had a manicure from Hue at Harbor Nails, you've never had a manicure. I first had a plain manicure and then upgraded to gel. Even on my toes. She is one of the few (if not the only) people who do fills on gel, which saves time, money and your nails! She always gives extra service... and she's smart and personable. I'm hooked. Read Less
