Went there today for the third time to get a gel fill, I asked the guy if he could make my nails a little thicker because they were starting to break easily, he just looked at me gave me the strange look did not say a word so I asked if he had another idea and he just looked at me and I said you're just looking at me strangely is there another way of doing this he gets up walks to his co-worker and starts talking to him in his language and I thought maybe didn't understand English then I realize he was mad and the other guy said Miss I'll do your nails in a few minutes, i said okay but I'm not sure what's really going on here.. so I started looking through the colors a moment later the same guy comes back and said do you want me to do your nails or not or you can just go somewhere else I got up and left they were extremely rude and unprofessional Read Less

Second time coming here because I know first impressions aren't always correct. My first time in, I needed a fill and came with my sister. One of my acrylics had started to peel off at a corner. Instead of easing it off or giving any sort of warning, the tech ripped off the acrylic, which was excruciating. She was also extremely rough pushing my cuticles back and I ended up bleeding a bit. Decided to give them another chance, came in for a full set, and the tech used his own infected looking thumb nail to push my skin down. My nails also look like garbage. Learned my lesson, though. This place is terrible!! My poor mother got her nails done for the very first time and wanted the pink and white acrylic... what they gave her is what is pictured. Her natural nail tip is clearly showing! When we asked them to fix it, they offered to put a silver line across them so they wouldn't have to file it down and do at least some gel over it. Not a good experience. The manager came over to the woman who was working on my feet and started arguing with her over something on a logsheet. He spent 10 minutes arguing with her and obviously berating her (I don't speak their language but he was obviously unhappy with her). It was very uncomfortable. She did not file my nails probably because she was so shaken up after being confronted by her boss. There was a child who belonged to someone who worked there who had a very loud video game on, so the whole hour of my "spa" experience was not very relaxing. Made an appointment for 9:00am, the time it opens!  The employee didn't show up  until 9:10. Three people, including myself, were waiting out front. The two other women did not have an appointment. We all came in and the employee started with one of the other women.   I explained I had an appointment... she said someone will be here in 5 minutes... 9:30, two other employees show up and are more worried about how they can't turn on the TV.   As I was leaving,  the two employees got in o a huge verbal argument (in Vietnamese). Very rude workers. Their English isn't too well and when you say excuse me they get mad and just ignore you. They talk to Eachother and ignore you like you aren't there. Came in Evphoria Nails & Spa based on the previous reviews. Fair prices and high quality products. I was seated and got quickly prompted with what I would like to drink. The salon had so many colors collection to choose from. It's very good for shape! No overwhelming harsh chemicals. I'm very happy! Definitely will come back. Read Less

The man I got was very nice and asked what i wanted throughout the entire visit but the women who worked there there were beyond rude to the other customers especially the Spanish speaking ones. Also told my friend she could not do coffin shape with her nails even though I've done it every time I've came. Told the Spanish speaking women they don't do ingrown toe nails even though I've also have gotten it every time I've came. I've been here once a long time ago so I thought why not go back right ? Worst experience ever. Idk if I will ever get a pedicure again. The lady cut open the cuticle on my big toes and it was so painful I could barely sit still !! I thought oh maybe I just had ingrown nails and she was trying to fix them. So I didn't say anything. Well here I am the next day and my toes are red, swollen, cut open, and green puss is coming out of them. Not sure if she even used clean utensils at this point. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention. I've had many pedicures before so I didn't think I had anything to worry about. Well I was wrong I am highly disappointed and now stuck with infected toes. Sucks I paid for this and even tipped her well because I know it's a tough job but c'mon this should not be an issue. Update on my review!!! I went to the doctors today and was diagnosed with cellulitis after getting a pedicure here! If you do not want staph infection then DO NOT go here. If I could give this place a negative 3 stars I would. My nails are too wide and are different sizes on each hand. The right side ones are wider than the left hand. I asked the lady doing my toes for two colors and she ended up doing only one right color and another that I didn't even ask for. The place is fancy and all but the service sucks. Normally I always have a good experience but today was far the worst, I went today for a manicure and I was going to get the acrylic powder nails, and the lady who did mine was Lau. My nails were long when I got them and I just wanted them a little shorter, she was hardly taking off any cuticles until I told her, and she cut and filed my nails way too short, she didn't even ask me how much length I wanted to cut off even though I had said it when I was seated down. I've I my been to this place twice and both times they've made my cuticle bleed. I got my nails done here for my 15 because someone got me a certificate got a full set and almost all of my cuticles were cut open. Then years go by and I go back to get ONE nail fixed thinking they have gotten better. I was wrong, my one finger was bleeding and the job was horrible (guessing cuz it was one nail and the nail tech didn't care) the one nail was lumpy and thick you can tell I got it done at a different place then the rest of the nails. We got here at 09:20 and one side of the room was already packed with men and women. They got to our pedicures quickly, did a decent job, and got us out in about an hour. I recommend an appointment and paying by cash. Color selection was decent, fairly priced. Large tvs on both sides of the room, quiet atmosphere. Read Less

I'm a Yoga instructor, so I'm barefoot a lot and try to keep my feet well groomed.  I happened to be in the area and had a long day, so I figured it might not be a bad idea to treat myself with a pedicure.  I walked in and was NOT greeted or acknowledged at all  After standing there a few minutes, I spoke up and said I wanted a pedicure.  They were not that busy, so someone pointed at the place I was to sit to get my feet done.I had my 2 kids with me, and they were well behaved.  My older son just wanted to stand and watch the fish in the tanks near the entrance, and I was told that was fine.  I noticed a little girl sitting with her Mom getting a pedicure and asked if my younger one could sit with me.  I was told that was okay, and then as soon as my son started climbing up into the chair with me, the person  who was going to do my pedicure started having a fit.I was treated in such an inhospitable way, I said "Forget it" and left without getting anything done.  The staff clearly didn't want my business because they all ignored me as I left. This place is beautiful inside and has wonderful furnishings with two huge tvs. The people try really hard to communicate and your nails will always come out nice. They even have special pink princess chairs with fairy wings for your little princess' pedicure. The only reason I am not rating it higher is because I feel like they always screw me on the pricing here. You order one thing but then the person gives you the more expensive version. This place is awful. I have 3 stars because the manager made up for the inadequate service. The pedicure was average. The "boy" that was starting my manicure clearly had no idea what he was doing. He cut my skin while cleaning my cuticles. Very disorganized and I will never return. But I do give credit to the manager for accommodating the issues. Love them! I've been coming here for a while now, but I recently came in to get gel polish over my nails. Over the weekend, my real nail broke, so i came in to get my nail repaired. The lady said she could do overlay over my real nail so I wouldn't have to cut it short. But long story short, she did a very good job!!! You can't even tell one of my nails even broke or has overlay and the best part is, she told me it was FREE when I got ready to pay! Great customer service! If I could give zero stars, I would. I went here two weeks ago as a friend recommended it. I was wary because of the Yelp reviews but she suggested I go at on "off time" when they weren't so busy for better service. Against my better judgement I went. It was around 7pm on President's Day (Monday). There were three ladies getting pedicures and they seemed to be enjoying their experience. Then an older man came in. He must've had an ingrown toenail and asked for the nail technician to remove it. The nail salon should've turned him away but did not. The man was biting down on a pencil and groaning in pain while she cut his assumedly ingrown nail. Next, the man that did my nails used the electric file to remove my gel polish, but in the tops of my fingers from the speed of the file. (It's a burning sensation because of the nerves in your fingers).  When I looked down, my nail technicians nails were filthy! Dirt and who knows what else caked underneath his nails. He continued to pick his nose while working on my nails. If this isn't enough, after less than a week all of the gel polish on my nails had cracked on the surface (I'm assuming it's from the cheap gel polish they use) so all of my nails chipped. Nail polish here is the best for me, I rarely take care of my nails at work, to the nails color comes out easily. I came here and got my nails and toe nails done many times with many different technicians, and they all friendly, they talked to me while doing their job, that kept me out of feeling bored.
