Best nail salon around! The first time I came in, I asked for white tips. However, the powder they use is very pink & comes out reddish, so I was unhappy with how they turned out. Although it was my fault because I had agreed to the powder, they let me come in right when they opened the next morning to have them fixed, free of charge. The second time I came in, I asked for ombré white tips with Allan. I was super stoked with how they came out! He did such a good job that everyone was complementing them, even when it was clear that I needed a fill. For my pedicure, I had James, who was also fantastic! I love this place from the ambiance to their excellent work. It's my third time getting my nails done here and I loved them every time. I just got my nails done yesterday and I got paired with Cici and I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails. They ( Cici and another lady whose name I don't remember) explained they might not look identical to the picture due to the picture having a filter. So I was super excited to try this place out initially because I read some amazing reviews and the photos of other people's nails looked amazing! So I went on a Tuesday night and only had to wait about 10 minutes without an appointment which was pretty fast. The receptionist was pretty nice and so was every employee we encountered. I do have to say that the ambience was stunning! The floor is made out of pennies and the chandeliers are beautiful. The experience going there was super pleasant, you get a complimentary drink, which was delicious, and obviously you get to choose the colors you want. One of the reasons I really wanted to try this place was because of pricing! $35 for a full set really made me want to try out the place! So I got a full set with just polish because I knew I would want to change the color pretty soon, I'm very indecisive when it comes to nail colors and I love changing them often. I went with my younger sister who got gels which were priced pretty well. So we got our nails done, all was well, we loved how our nails were looking. 3 days after my sister came home from the salon, she told me that her gels were falling off, which was super disappointing. My nails looked amazing for another 2 weeks, but I realized that the gels peeling off so soon was not worth coming back, especially if I wanted to stick to gel. So in conclusion, if you're coming in for polish and acrylics, this place is amazing! But as for gels, I would find another salon! Read Less

Polished Bar is the only place I go to get my nails done.  Everyone is super friendly and attentive.  Mary is my go to but I've had great experiences with Cindy, Angie, Eddie, & Titus. If I have the rare break, they're always more than happy to fix.  I generally come here around every 3 weeks and sometimes as long as 5 weeks to get a fill some nail art and a pedicure.  They have a huge selection of nail polish and stuff to give your nails some extra bling.  If you're looking for a clean and high quality nail bar this is your place.  I generally come in for a couple hours.  So be prepared.  I personally think it's worth the wait.   No jetted massage chairs which is a huge plus for me.  Those are a breeding grown for filth and bacteria. This was the first time I had been to this nail salon.  I had made appointments for myself and for a friend. My appointment was for a full set and pedi, while hers was for a regular mani/pedi and a brow wax. This salon has the most non-gel and gel selection I have seen in quite some time. The color range is amazing, and they even have chrome colors. I went with three different gel colors for my nails and a OPI pink for my pedi. I love how my nails came out! They look amazing. Cindy took a lot of time shaping and filing and they look great. My friends mani and pedi also came out great! Ask, her eyebrow shaping was amazing. They serve complimentary drinks and have varying levels of pedicures depending on what your needs may be. If you are looking for a place that is local and do a great job, this is the place for you. I have a hard time finding and recommending a place, but this one I would. My only complaint was the wait time. Took 2 hours from the start of my appointment to get theoigh everything, but that is most likely because they had been closed for a couple days before due to a floor renovation. Read Less

Ugh. I love this place.I have had such terrible experiences at nail places since I was a teenager. I probably only had 5 pedicures my whole life and the last time I got fake nails I was 18 years old.I had an engagement shoot and needed some nails to make my hands look amazing in pictures so I swung by here. I found Polished Bar through Yelp and I am so pleased with everything about this place!My nails came out great, the customer service was on point and the salon itself was very nice. I called to make a same day appointment and had no problems with that. Walked in, picked my colors and they sat me right away and handed me a drink menu along with different options for my pedicure. They were so kind the entire time and I love how my nails came out. I came here to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure on a day that my regular salon was closed. I called ahead to put my name in and fortunately, did not wait very long to be seated in one of their spa chairs. About 10 to 15 minutes after my pedicure had started, a second employee came to work on my hands. I explained to her the chrome nail color that I wanted and she immediately seemed confused--and ended up asking other employees in Vietnamese to help clarify what I wanted. When my pedicure was finished I was asked to get out of my spa chair and take a seat at their "bar" to have my chrome nails finished by a third employee (so that another customer could sit in the chair I was in and start their pedicure). What's up with that? I get that they're trying to make more money by getting another pedicure started, but I felt tossed around. I mean, I am a paying customer here (and they are not cheap, mind you)! After walking over to the bar to have this third employee finish my nails, I wasn't even greeted with a simple "hello." This woman didn't even so much as smile at me during the 15 minutes I sat in front of her. At one point when one of my hands was under the UV light, this same employee went to a different customer and started tending to her nail simultaneously. WHY IS THERE SO MUCH MULTI-TASKING DONE HERE?! Once I had dried my nails, she came over with the rubbing alcohol to "set" in the polish. After that, she spoke her first words: "OK, done!" Right before she was about to walk away, I asked her what about my massage (included as part of my manicure)? Without saying another word she proceeded to squirt some lotion on both my hands and essentially rub it in for about 60 seconds total for both hands. That sealed the deal for me. My bill? Almost $100 for mani & pedi ($10 extra for the chrome finish).I get it - this is a more upscale nail salon--they serve you booze, whatever. But sometimes the money isn't everything, guys. Treat your paying customers with respect--it goes a long way. And smile once in a while! Don't rush through everyone--we notice! Went in today with my gf for an appointment at 3pm. It was fairly easy to book the appointment same day. The decor was nice and they have a vast selection of color choices. The decor was very chic and the fact that they changed up the pedicure chair style to roll out pedi tubs was cute!I got an full set fill and a gel pedicure with the "polished" spa package. Acrylic fill 4/5Tom did my fill. He was very efficient and knew what he was doing. I told him i wanted a narrower shape for my previously done coffin shape and that is exactly what he gave me. He did an extremely good job with the gel coat which was the color p6, a grayish lavender. The nails turned out amazing and looks like a brand new set. The only complaint i have is when he was applying the gel, he used his finger nails to create an even edge but wiped the extra gel polish onto my hand. He didnt even bother to remove it afterwards! I thought that was weird considering there were towels everywhere. I ended up peeling that piece of gel off myself. Polished spa package with gel 4/5This package included paraffin wax, callous treatment and a 10 min massage. The gel application was great. There were no streaks and the coats covered every edge of the nail. I did not like the way she trimmed my toe nails short and filed it even shorter without asking me. I would have preferred to keep them a lil longer but she did great on reshaping them. I was a lil bit disappointed with the spa package itself. It didnt seem like she cared to be there or was trying too much, especially with the very lacking 10 min massage. Ive had better spa packages that were less pricey; however, my toes look amazing.  Overall, $38 for the fill and $60 for the spa package with gel. I'm still getting to know what's around my area and the places I've been going for my nails locally never met my full satisfaction..UNTIL THIS ONE! Tom did an BEAUTIFUL job on my nails. He's so detail in his work and loved that he didn't rush. I recommend asking for him!They accept walk-ins. Depending on the day, you'll get lucky enough with a wait time of 30 mins to an hour.
