I really love that I found a more nontoxic nail gel and environment to get my nails done. I also really like Michelle who does my nails. The reason the 4 stars is bc they polish doesn't always stay on for 2 weeks. Sometimes not even a week. It's a bummer bc I end up driving there once a week to either get them completely redone (reg appt) or to fix a chip. If not for that, it would be a solid 5 stars. I thoroughly enjoy everything else. As a lifelong nail biter with intermittent (and admittedly unsuccessful) breaks, I finally kicked the habit for good last year. Unfortunately this bad habit took its toll on the overall strength and health of my nails, and the only way to ensure they won't break is to get gel done regularly.I've known about Lollipop Nail Studio because of their Costa Mesa location, but couldn't justify the drive just to get my nails done (especially because of the difficult parking). I've lived in Orange for over a year, and only JUST realized that this location has been open for a year! With my natural nails being the longest they've ever been, Song was able to do a heart-tipped design, just in time for Valentine's. An alternative to turn-style style salons that get crowded and, dare I say, take in volumes they can't support (think hygiene). Lollipop is low key, small, quaint, and cute. All products are natural and their scrubs are amazing. Don't expect a chemical callous remover, they scrub. Don't expect acrylics, they avoid fumes and harsh chemicals. They do gel. I came here on NYE to get a quick gel manicure before the evening. I was able to snag the last appointment, luckily, because the receptionist said it was completely booked all day. Anyway, I was given a lot of different color options for gel, was seated right away and seen within 3 minutes of getting there. The manicurist was sweet, just talkative enough for me, and did a great job going over every detail of my manicure before she ended the appointment. My favorite nail place! I use to go to the one in Costa Mesa, however the parking at The Camp is awful! Someone up in nail heaven must have herd my cries, because they opened a Lollipop Nail just down the road from my house and office! YES the parking in Old Town Orange is still bad (not as bad as The Camp), but I am so glad it is now down in Orange. It is the exact same format as the one in the camp; cute, clean, and always diligent work. I always get nail art, and the woman that does it is amazing! My gels and nail art last for at least 3 weeks. And my pedicures are always great. Plus they use organic nail polishes, so the salon doesn't smell like your typical nail salon. I have had some bad luck lately with nails and came in with 2 broken nails and 2 horribly done acrylics that were super thick. Pam was able to perform magic on my nails. She took her time filling off the horrible nail job I was rocking and was meticulous about making sure my gel nails looked perfect. After jumping around from salon to salon, this is my new home base. Horrible! Took over an hour just to paint my nails in French. And the line was crooked and messy. I went back the next day to fix and the other lady who fixed the nails did  an even worse job and she also bad mouthed the company and said none of the girls are versed on French manicures. I then proceeded to call the owner and she was sweet as pie. She agreed to reimburse me and give me a full manicure experience for free. I gave her my info and waited but no call or contact back. So I called again, it's been 2 months and still haven't heard back. I wasn't looking for a freebie but I hate that I was given her word and it was and empty promises. Never again! Read Less

Susan and Pamela went above and beyond to make my day so special!The chairs are so comfortable and it smells lovely inside! I have always thought a nail place should be serene, simple and relaxing like a spa.  I have searched high and low for the right atmosphere, there's enough noise in my life already.  I just want pretty feet and someone who will do them good in a quiet environment.  I don't want to go to a nail salon nightclub with blaring dance music and people yelling over one another.Lollipop is the place that I have desperately searched for! Probably one of the cutest nail places I've been to! Song did my pedicure & was super sweet and did a great u h I've actually never even seen what this place looked like before coming in. I like how different they are when it comes to having natural polish. I also really like how the pedicures are done differently from most places . A cute little thing for your feet with milky water and cute little flower pieces in the water . My legs are still soft from the scrub that was used on them earlier ! I came here for the first time yesterday, and i had an average experience. i'd been wanting to try this place for a while since i live near the circle and i had wandered in there one day. Ok so pro tip you need to call and make an appointment, don't expect to just walk in and get seated. I had an appointment at 1:15 and i was seated. the woman who started doing my fingers didn't seem very experienced, i have multiple cuts around my cuticles and when i left i had gel all over my fingers. my pedicure however was top notch, they bring a soaking bowl over and use all organic products. on tuesdays they give a 10% discount and on wednesdays it's 15%. i'll give them one more shot before i make my final decision Read Less

Been wanting to try this place and now there's one in my hood! I visited on a Thursday evening and it was lovely. I got the hippie pedicure and manicure and thoroughly enjoyed the services, products and nail color choices. The staff and owner are friendly and professional but not at all stuffy. It was a relaxing environment. Also, I like that it doesn't smell like a typical nail salon. This is the only place I will ever get a mani and pedi at, and the only place I will treat my tween kiddo to. They have the highest and strictest sterilization protocol and they don't have the bacteria and virus infested jet tubs. They make their own scrubs and use almond oil. The polish line is free of harsh chemicals. I am super excited to now have a salon near home, as I was a faithful regular at their Costa Mesa location. It is definitely worth every penny! I love when awesome little gems move into my neighborhood!! Walking my dog this morning I walked right past Lollipop. I recognized their name from the Costa Mesa location, so I was excited to see a new studio right down the street from my house!! Called once they opened and came in later this afternoon for a manicure and pedicure. I love that everything they use is all natural and there are no harsh chemicals, so you don't get that typical nail salon smell. They use oils and scrubs that they make themselves and the oil was a delicious smelling almond oil with rose water and I'm sure other things, but it smelled heavenly!! The studio itself is so bright and airy and relaxing. Great color selection, and it felt more spa like than usual nail salons. Every once in awhile, I'll definitely pay to get pampered. Prices are a little higher than most places, but you pay for quality products! Parking can be tough in Old Town Orange, but thankfully I'm in walking distance! Great addition to my neighborhood!!!
