Do youself a favor and find another place to go. I had called to schedule time for my first full sew in-weave. At first everything started off great with the owner, she was very responsive, didnt make me drive from SF to Oakland for a consultation, she simply asked for a picture of my hair. (which I provided a pic from behind) She gave me the green light and guided me through what length hair I should chose to get the look I desired. She sent me an email confirmation through her booking station for Thursday (I was leaving for a big trip on Friday and she wanted to work with me on scheduling. This is where things went wrong. One hour before my appointment she calls and says "I need to cancel, your hair didnt get here in time, I think its because of Donald Trump" Umm what? Donald Trump had my hair held up, weird? I was disappointed, I had specifically asked if she could do my hair before my trip. Needless to say, I let it go and rescheduled (as I had already paid $400 for the hair) Fast forward to the day before my appointment. The owner of the shop called and asked if I could reschedule again, she had another client she wanted to take my time slot. WHAT!! I told her I couldnt and we were keeping my now two week later appointment that was booked on her calendar. Finally, its appointment time, I show up to her shop and guess what, SHES NOT THERE. I called and asked where she was she said "Oh im right around the corner getting a net for your hair (dont you think you would already have an endless supply of nets as you are a weave and extension specific salon) I said ok, Ill wait for you. 35 MINUTES LATER she shows up. After all of this, Im finally in the seat. At this point, I was upset but decided to let it go. We started chatting about her wonderful son and things were getting better. Midway through another client walks in and Tiffany says Ill be right with you. ( she wasnt even half way through my full weave so we knew that was a lie) SHe finally finishes my hair and turns me around to look at my leave out hair. She gasps and says "wow that is really long, and scrambles to try and fix the leave out, but she had another client in waiting room and said "just curl it when you get home sweetie", Being that this was my frist time getting a full weave, I accepted her explanation and went home. (mind you my hair is straight and the weave I got was a full curly 22 inch weave. For days I tried to figure out what to do, how to curl my straight leave out to match my curly weave, I tried curling it, geling it, braiding it over night, EVERYTHING. Finally, I had given up and needed her to fix the mess she had left out. I text her asking for help and her response was " I get a million calls a day, can you tell me who this is" Really? Why dont you just scroll up in your iMessages and see who youve been communicating with for over a month now. She says "well its not my fault, thats how leave outs are" . Dont you think you would have guided your client into getting a straight or less curly weave after the picture was sent? Dont you think you would have helped with the leave out, made it less noticeable? I could go on and on about this experience but Ill just leave the most important topics here. OH lastly, there is a coupon on Yelp that honors 15% which she will not honor because "She doesnt remember telling Yelp they could do that" This was an awful, expensive lesson! Dont make the same mistake I did. There are plenty of better options just a few miles away. Read Less
