I went here for the first time on a Sunday because MacArthur Nails and Bebe Nails were both closed. I wish I had just waited! Trying out a new nail shop can be a traumatic and painful experience if the shop sucks. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that Pro Nails absolutely falls into that category. My best friend and I both got gel manicures and pedicures and while her manicure was a lot better, mine was awful. The woman who was doing my manicure was sweet and friendly but clearly in a rush to get out of the door for the afternoon, because she ran through the regimen and bolted. When I looked down at my nails, they had been filed horribly and had snags of hardened polish along the top, making them jagged and just plain whooped. The woman had already left so I had little recourse except pointing out the crap job. My pedicure went a lot smoother! (Hence two stars instead of one.) They offer a hot stone massage free of charge and it's a nice addition. If I had just gotten a pedi I would've given them at least four stars, but the mani situation was unforgivable. This is a pretty long story, so I came here once or twice to get my nails done and they do an OK job. I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed and figured I'd just get them done here.Im not sure what the lady's name was, but she made my eyebrows very thin. I was really mad/upset, but I still payed them. I guess it was my fault for not being clear on how I wanted my eyebrows. After that I let my eyebrows grow out for months and decided to go again since I get my nails done here (worst decision ever). I let the one In charge do my eyebrows, and thought she'd do them nicely. Since I didn't want a repeat of last time I made myself clear on how I wanted my eyebrows. I clearly said I want them thick and I want to keep my arch. She then said ok, then I explained to her what had happened the previous time I had came here and she pretty much ignored me. Then she said "I'm not good with arch" I was confused so I told her,"ok then forget about the arch just follow my natural shape and keep them thick." When she was done I was very upset and felt myself on the verge of tears of how horrible they looked, she completely thinned them out and took my arch away. I told her straight up I didn't like them and she still insisted I pay even though she did my eyebrows her way and not mine. The older man who did my nails (white tips) was rude, arrogant, mean, and shouldn't be anywhere near customers. Good thing Dina was available to finish the job with kindness and professionalism.
