I came here under the impression that they still offered massages, but alas I was told that the therapist was no longer there. I was overdue for a pedicure and wanted to relax, so I just opted for that instead. My immediate impression of the shop was how clean it was! You could have probably performed open heart surgery right there in the main floor. There was only one other person in the salon aside from me, so the energy level was very mellow and quiet. The staff was talkative but they weren't loud or curt at all. The woman who did my deluxe pedi did a phenomenal job. I'm not usually a pedicure kind of girl, but ever since going into the beauty industry I have little to no time to take care of my own beauty needs (ironic huh?). Typically I don't find pedicures to be the most relaxing experience given the cutting and filing...but this experience was truly a magical one. The tech was meticulous, but gentle. The massage was divine, the perfect amount of pressure...and it was slow. Most nail techs will rub your legs a few times and call it a day, but she took her time. I love it when people in this field have good intentions, too often do I come across someone who wants to get a job done and move onto the next person. I really regret not getting her name, perhaps it was Hien? Someone said she is best known for how careful she is. The leg exfoliating treatment was standard, your typical tropical smelling scrub which I don't mind. The leg mask was next level fantastic; if you just got done working a long day or have sore feet make sure to get a deluxe pedi JUST for that. My legs were tingly for about an hour after (if you like that sort of feeling). At the end she even offered me disposable flip flops or regular ones for an extra $3. The entire staff was magical, even those not doing my nails were very kind and told me to come back to see them again. If you are just looking for a place to get pampered and don't want any sort of intricate nail art then consider Elegant Nails. I will definitely be back when the time is right. Betty, the new owner has really spiffed up the salon, which used to be cluttered and felt kind of dirty. Now it's sparkling and feels well cared for. I am a huge fan of Hien for manicures and pedicures. She is careful, fast, and expert. Her pedicures keep me from getting ingrown toenails, something that can plague senior citizens. Read Less

Relaxing, friendly people, consistently good quality, and recently renovated with new pedi chairs!  It's a bit small, but that makes it more cozy.  It's not super elegant, but I feel like it's a good value neighborhood salon and it's not that hard to make an appointment.  On weekends, call in advance or you might have to wait!  Good eyebrow waxing as well.  I've gone to this nail salon many times and I've never had a bad experience.  Recommend! Went here for the first time using a groupon and found the experience from the beginning to the end to be less than average. I understand that in many Asian cultures it is acceptable to be curt and direct, however, in making the appointment over the phone I could not help but feel belittled. The person on the other end (I suppose the owner) seemed rude and even said "Don't be late." Willing to forgive this considering phone conversations can be quite awkward, I show up for my mani/pedi. During my service, I was reprimanded by the owner for the way I held my fingers (?), which I would've let on had she been nicer in her tone of voice / request. I also left with bubbles in my polish. I've been to Elegant Nails twice, once with a mani-pedi groupon and once without for just a pedicure. On my second visit I also asked if I could have my nails cut/filed down but not get a full manicure, and my tech was super accommodating and barely charged me anything extra for that (like $8) and she still buffed them and did my cuticles, essentially giving me most of a manicure. They use sanitized tools and put liners in the pedi tubs, which is always a requirement for me, and both the women who have worked on my nails/toes were very gentle and precise. My manicure stayed put for a full week before it started to crack despite major abuse to my hands, and I think thats pretty impressive. My pedicures have both lasted the full three weeks that i wait before getting a new one, and I'm sure they would last longer if i left them. Overall this is a great little nail salon. Read Less

Holy shit this is probably the worst nail experience ever. First of all, it is impossible to book an appointment here if you have a groupon, so don't even try. Second, the lady badly injured me by cutting too deep into my big toe. I was bleeding in the salon and all she did was put a bit of alcohol and tell me that it would get better. NO IT DID NOT GET ANY BETTER. It's day 2, there's pus all over my big toe and it hurts to even walk. This means that they never sanitized their tools because how else would my wound have been THIS infected? This is so unprofessional, you get a pedicure to treat yourself, not to get hurt and end up going to the hospital. I have been trying to call them all weekend and NOBODY is picking up the phone. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. I'm hoping Groupon and Yelp will blacklist this business ASAP. THIS IS ABSURD, IF YOU HAVE ANY SANITY, PLEASE DON'T COME HERE. Read Less

I went here for the first time and loved it. I got a mani-pedi and found the service to be great. The manager was really friendly, I came half an hour before my appointment and they were really nice and took me early. They even helped me with the strap on the back of my sandals after my pedicure so I wouldn't mess up my manicureThey have these little heaters to dry nails, be careful not to put your fingers too close because it can make the nail polish bubble a little bitAll in all great place and I'll definitely be back! I have been coming to this nail shop for the past few years and since it has been under new ownership the quality has gone downhill. One of the worst mani pedis I have received and to top it off they would not except the groupon deal I had and told me to come back and use it next time?! I will not be back. I had a groupon for a mani and pedi. It was a great deal so I decided to get it. However I couldn't make the appointment to get my nails done the same time as my friend so I had to make it two hours after she made hers. When we got there we didn't expect the place to be so small. They literally only had about 3 pedi chairs. But the thing that made me a little upset was I had an appointment for 5:30 and didn't end up getting started until about 6:15. I realized the lady who decided to walk in was more important than me. So I was already annoyed I've been in this shop for now 3 hours!! And finally when they get to me they are rushing because they close at 7. It was not a pleasant experience and I wouldn't go back. Read Less

I took a chance on a new pedicure place as I am from out of town. I walked by and made eye contact with Betty. She welcomed me and was friendly and I asked for a pedicure of which I got with Hannah (I think that was her name)? My pedicurist was very careful and attentive to my needs as I don't get regular pedis as I am very picky of who I see and also have very sensitive feet. The equipment was all nice and clean. The jacuzzi for your feet had a liner. All in all the whole experience was very pleasant and relaxing. I walked out with pretty orange toes and a trinity of sparkling diamonds to accent. Too bad I don't live closer to get my toes done regularly from this place. My only suggestion would be to play some pretty soft music from Pandora in the background to set the ambiance. Read Less

Tickle fest, but so worth it. I'm particularly ticklish so the scraping of the soles was a fun time for sure ... For the shop lady! Everyone was laughing with me (or at me I'm not sure). New owners for 3 months, it's totally remodeled and clean smelling and feeling. I would run and get your mani pedi with eyebrows trimming and the works. Being a man doesn't matter. Hmmm. Why's it so hard to find a good nail place?! This place is among the most lousy I've visited recently. Woman hurt my feet cutting my cuticles, didn't bother to help me with my shoes. It wasn't that busy on an early Sat. evening. No bother. What really got me was the rudeness. I open my wallet to pay by credit card & she ogles into my wallet, "you got no cash?" No, not enough... I'll never understand these nail places quibbling with credit card users. I get the fees, but either accept credit cards & raise the prices accordingly or don't accept them at all. Don't argue with the customer about the choice of payment that the merchant accepts. Then I ask for change for a $5 (I was going to give the pedicurist a $2-3 pity tip, I wasn't impressed with the pedicure). She shoves the $5 bill to the pedicurist. I'm like "no, I need ones." Is it normal these days to give in excess of a 20% tip? The ped was $22. Woman comes back with a single dollar bill for me. Really. SMH. Won't ever be back. Read Less

This place is a nice little place to relax and enjoy a pedicure.I just left actually and I usually go on my lunch break. They only charged me $25.00 which is reasonable for the french tips I requested for my toes. The women are sweet and give an exceptional massage. I really like that today, my nail technician spent time shaping and cleaning up the cuticle. I would give another star or two if they offered a beverage and revamped the place. It's asking for a little update. A new coat of paint and a garbage truck to haul off the faux flowers and they'll be in the right track to 4-5 stardom in no time. Read Less

Wow this salon is awesome! This area can get pricey, but here you can get great service for an affordable price. The wait is never long, its super clean (I'm kinda anal when it comes to this), and the staff is soooo friendly. I got a lip wax and a fill, and my almond nails look great. What's even better- you can get an amazing massage as well! The masseuse is in the back in a separate room. He found all my problem areas on my back without me telling him, and went a little past the time limit to make sure he got rid of all my tension.
