I had to switch from my old nail salon and before  i came here i got them done somewhere else and he totally messed up my nails. So i wasnt thinking i could get the white and pink ombre like i wanted   because they were so messed up. But royal nails did AMAZING. there was a totally rude customer in there and they were so nice to her- i almost yelled at her. This is definitely my go to nail shop from now on. They look so perfect. I was visiting my parents for the holidays and I went here because it's close. On the back of their menu they have a student discount offered, however apparently it's only for high school students even though it doesn't specify that on there. It just seemed really shady that when I showed them my college ID, the gentleman kinda of stammered that oh it's only for high school, like he was caught off guard. It just seemed shady-what's 10% off to them. I didn't get gel polish because it takes me forever to repair the damage of it to my natural nails and they have a policy for free touch ups within three days- sure enough I went back and they gave me a hard time about it. The other man working there said that "regular nail polish only lasts one to two days." That just put me off that they have this policy but then make you feel bad for using it. We had a great experience at Royal nails today! I tried a sns manicure and it came out great! The nails feel so durable I'm hoping the finish lasts, it certainly feels like this manicure will last at least a few weeks. Tony was great, we had great conversation and lots of laughs! I have been looking for a nail spa in the high desert on and off, for years, that would consistently do a good job. Since this is my first pedicure I don't have anything to compare it to. Went with my old lady. It wasn't a bad experience. Came in and waited for a few minutes, not too long. Then we went to our chair. The lady was like, "Ok, you takey off you shoe now." I said "I did. She replied, "You do it now!" I said, "I don't have shoes on." I walked in for a fill at 4:18 and they closed at 5 and the said they couldn't take me because they wouldn't finish on time. So unprofessional! I went out on a whim & decided to try a new nail salon. I always stick with Star Nails on Bear Valley & Hesperia, but it's a ways away from where I live. I asked for something super simple, just white gel nails with a little design. Jessica did my nails & did an amazing job, I say that because she took her time & made sure there were no spots left without polish. She was also super nice which was a bonus! Awesome place! I recently moved to Oak Hills from Apple Valley and found this gem. I believe they are under new ownership. It's very clean, they make you feel welcome and very comfortable, and they do an amazing job. The husband/wife team can do pretty much anything. Stay far away from this place!! I was given a pedicure and left with a foot infection, they used a scraper on my foot to remove calluses, it caused bleeding and an infection, apparently this method/tool of removing calluses is not even supposed to be used in California any longer due to hygenic reasons. They have a sign in their window that states they accept VISA and MasterCard but when you attempt to pay that way it's high pressure to ask you to give them cash instead or write out a check payable to cash.
