Only giving 2 stars because I LOVED Henry and one of the other guys there. I've been going here for two years now and have always loved how my nails turn out. Usually there is a guy at the front and he the best! He always offers tea or water. Today when I had scheduled two appointments for a full set of acrylics, and called to confirm, they informed me they only had room for one. When I asked what happened to the other appointment the woman who was running the front today was extremely rude about it. She didn't give me any options except wait a HOUR for the second one. Instead of asking to see the appointment from the app and say sorry and try to shoot for some form of decent customer service, she kept telling me that I was wrong. I absolutely love Images! I've been to all of the locations they have and I like them all, but I go to the Newport Bluffs one because of Henry, even though it's the farthest from my house. Henry is amazing, he does my acrylics and gel and I am happy with it every time, and I'm very picky with my nails! Management is SO friendly and accommodating. Any time I've had any issue they have always fixed it with no questions asked. The salons are clean and nicely decorated. I make appointments and I never have to wait, I'm taken care of almost right away. They do an amazing job, I highly recommend them. Read Less

I love that I can find an Images location near me. I've been to the other locations in Irvine. Service was above par as usual. I had Henry and Danny and both were great! I also saw another technician doing designs on her clients nails and they were so cool, unique and intricate. I will definitely be back to get designs on my gel nails! Since I had such a good experience the first time, I wanted to go back to images to get my nails done. This time, I went to another location just to see how accurate their services were. I got the usual...basic pedi and gel mani, and again Images was right on point! They got me in quickly, had two technicians working on me and got that wonderful arm and leg massage :) I was paying more attention to the technician doing my nails because I can be pretty critical. It was like she read my mind when she checked the corners of my nails after every color layer to make sure there were no missing spots. I don't know about everyone else, but my biggest pet peeve is having missing polish on the sides of my nails, ugh! I didn't give my toes a good look until I got home, but man she did a great job. It looks like I have gel polish on my toes. I'm thoroughly impressed with both of my experiences so far and I'm definitely going to continue to come back! I came in to get my first set of acrylics on Friday, September 29th. My manicurist was very nice, which is why I'm not giving 1 star. The thumb nail wasn't completed which I didn't have time to fix immediately but when the chip occurred on Tuesday 2 hours before the event for which the nails were done, I had had my final straw with this set and requested merely that my thumb was fixed for my event. I was told no, only VIP clients get fixed same day, otherwise I'd have to make another appointment. I don't know about the rest of the world but my business is earned. If I'm going to spend $100 on my nails/toes every couple weeks, I expect that they will at least be done right the first time. Mistakes happen, but how you fix them is what builds you clients. This is location is only good for you if you want to spend beyond $100 to get decent service.Edited to include: I absolutely called before arriving, told them of the situation, and was told by ownership that I was making a scene by stating of my nail wasn't able to be completed, I expect compensation for having to have a whole new manicure done somewhere else. This nail salon experience was amazing! Walked-in and was seated within 5 minutes upon arrival. The decor was cute, bathroom was clean and the music (relaxing sounds really) was so perfect...I meditated in my chair while getting my service and it wasn't too loud or too upbeat and allowed me to almost even fall asleep it was so soothing! Ha ha.I received a mani and pedi cleaning with no color, just nail buffed and wow I couldn't believe how clean and shiny my nails came out ! The two technicians did a wonderful job and were nice and quiet while I shut my eyes pretty much the entire time. I'm in love with the results, thank you Images Nail Salon. This salon is great..  I have been to this place for a while now.. They're very welcoming and I have great relax times, enjoy the drinks with nice music..Best place ever To the customer TINA K... you're the one who is rude... I was there on the whole time. You walked in and just said 'I have appointment' then standing there even the girl asked you to sit to verify for you and went to get the technician. You're late for your appointment and the way you acted like your VIP or something... I think you're the one need to be FIRED if any company hired you, with that kind of attitude, you're the worst person!!!! Read Less

I give this place minus 1.. I had appointment today had to wait.. so I left.. the girl in the front was so RUDE. Commanding me to sit.. She should be fired. I'm a business owner. I have a standing appointment with Danny for my gel manicures! He is great and what he does! My nails always look fabulous! I have had multiple girls do my pedicure and have no complaints! They are all great. The best part about them is that they are actually on time with appointments. I have an appointment at 1015 and Danny is waiting for me! I never have to wait for him. That's such a plus since lots of places book appointments but aren't ready for you when you get there! I appreciate there customer service!! Also they now serve wine which is always a plus!!! From start to end I had a great experience here. When I arrived for my appointment, there was no waiting. Peter (the owner) was very nice and sat me right away. They have a ton of gel colors, and the place is really nice and clean. I got an acrylic fill with gel on top. I'm super particular because I hate the acrylic look and always have to ask techs a million times to file the acrylic thinner. I had Lauren as my tech and she was absolutely AWESOME! I just told her I liked them thin and natural looking, and the length, thickness and shape were perfect. She even checked in with me after each step to make sure they were coming out how I wanted. My favorite part was that a few of my acrylics were lifting, and instead of ripping them off with nail scissors like my old place did, she just gently filed down the part that was lifting - no pain at all! I also noticed that the other patrons who were just getting gel manicures had their fingers wrapped in foil, rather than just dunking their hands in acetone like some places do.Usually when I leave a nail salon I have to pick a little at the imperfections, but my nails were absolutely perfect. This place is great for acrylics! The salon is more high-end, and everyone is very professional.I've been coming here for several months for fills and acrylics, and I've consistently received quality services. The technicians are perfectionists, so I always leave with a great set of nails. The fills can last me 3 weeks without any lifting! Danny and Henry have been my favorite technicians.The pedicures here are on the pricier side and are pretty basic, so I tend to stick to just mani services. I've also seen many people get hand shoulder massages in addition to their mani-pedis. Looks super relaxing!I would recommend making an appointment. Read Less

Update:  The business contacted me right away to come in for a fix.  I would have been happy if they just fixed a few nails, but they insisted on re-doing all the nails, since it was possible that they just had a bad bottle of gel polish.  This visit was great.  Nancy did an amazing job and my nails are perfect.  ***Old review:  It has been exactly one week since I got a gel polish change here.  I already knew I'd never come back because every time I washed my hair, strands of hair get caught on my cuticles, or technically, the gel polish. Your supposed to clean up any polish on your cuticles so the polish doesn't lift. They don't do that here. Now the polish is also lifting on the center of the nail. See photos. Whenever I get gel polish done at other salons, they last over 3-4 weeks or whenever the nail growth gap starts bothering me. Here it seems like it would only last a week. Read Less

Big fan of this place, well at least I know it keeps my girl super happy. I drop here off here when she needs to get the nails done up and she is always in and out in a quick fashion with her nails looking spot on. I decided to check in here and give them the props that they deserve. Images works out well because it's by both of our work-places. I am in Newport and she is in Irvine. The staff here is super nice and as I mentioned she is able to get in and out quick. Also, the environment is well taken care of and kept clean. I'm not too familiar with nail style or variety but my girl says that they can do almost any style and any color, so that is another win in my book. I would recommend an appointment as they always seem to be pretty busy. Plenty of parking here as well which for Newport can be a challenge sometimes. CHEERS!!! Read Less
