I went for my first time and I am sure it's going to be the last. I got a pedicure then one of those lady's did my nails in a really bad way and she was rude to me, she hurt me so bad in my toenail I'm still in pain and also they don't higiene in the tools that they use . Now I'm worried about how my toe looks and I guess I have to go to the doctor because of this negligent place. And for sure I will file a complaint with health department about this place. Read Less

I have been getting acrylics for years now and I've been to so many different salons but this place is by far my favorite. They ALWAYS take their time & make sure your nails are exactly how you want them. I have  been getting my nails done here for a couple of months now and I always leave here so happy with how my acrylics turn out. I will definitely continue to come here. Read Less

Came here for the first time a couple days ago, and it's definitely the best nail salon in thousand oaks! Prices are affordable and workers are very nice and welcoming! I just got a regular gel manicure and I love it! I will definitely be coming here regularly from now on. Read Less

Ugh. I reallllllyyy wanted to like this place. Just moved back to this area and need a new nail place and I was hoping this would be it especially due to all the awesome reviews. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I went in to get my acrylic gels filled and was set up with a younger girl. After she filed them down and whatnot she went to put the powder on my finger and redid it 4 times while quietly mumbling to the technician behind her. Eventually he comes over and Is watching over her while doing it. I've had my nails done plenty of times to know that the powder looks exactly like anyyy other I've seen before, so at this point I'm wondering is she new? Does she have a license to do this? There's nothing on the wall to say so. He goes and sits back down she says something else he comes back over she abruptly leaves and he takes over and finishes within 2 minutes all the whole citing my finger as he does it. Nice. Can you let me know what happening? Eventually i wash my hands and see the other girl just walking around eating strawberries. Then she comes over to paint my nails???  Then they finally ask me what color I want and he says there's barely any more of that color‍. Okkkkkkk would have loved to known that earlier because now I have to rush to make a decision and then once I choose another you don't have it either.  So now I ended up with a color I'm not so crazy about.Listen I'm really not trying to hate on this place. But we all have our own experiences. My recommendation to you is that 1-just make sure they have the color you want before you start2- make sure you know whoever is doing your nails knows what they're doing and don't be afraid to ask what's going on lol. Might give this place another try later but probably I'll probably end up checking other places out before I do. Read Less

Okay, I've checked out about 4 different nail salons in the Thousand Oaks area and I always say the next one is my favorite. But I think this time, I've really found THE ONE ! Ann is a pure artist. I had a design in mind that pays particular attention to detail and lots of rhinestones. Ann painted on my nails like it was nothing! I was amazed by her work and how she made it look so easy. I left the place extremely happy and will be returning to her for a touch up. Total for acrylic and design came out to $75.Come here if you want beautiful designs on your nails! Read Less

The salon floor had debris and nail clippings, I had to take my shoes off to put my feet into the water and stepped on at least one nail clipping. The man performing my pedicure asked if I wanted a callous removal, I declined politely, and he looked at me with lowered eyes as if to say 'really?!' Dude... don't try and guilt me into more services!! No is no.The young lady performing my gel manicure knicked my cuticle with a very new and stiff nail file. Not five minutes before, I had told her how much it bugs me when others have over filed or clipped me with a cuticle clipper and tried to blame me for having 'thin skin' - I told her my skin isn't thin, and she looked at my fingers and agreed it wasn't. Then she started to say it was thin as soon as I started bleeding!!! I looked at her and said no way, and she backpedaled and admitted it was the Emory board. She was very rough on me. Even if my skin was thin, be gentle on your clients. If I come in to your salon with no blood, I'd like to leave with no blood.The good thing is my finger healed in a week, and the nails were ok. My right hand nails were longer than my left though. My toe nails are pretty good still. The color came out good as well. I think salons forget this is supposed to be a relaxing experience. Luxe Nails is absolutely the best nail salon I've been to in a very long time. Anne and her staff are very nice and accommodating! She always sends me off with my beautiful acrylic nails; making sure during my time there it is exactly what I want. I walked in for a mani/pedi. I have been going to this salon for about 6 years, visiting every 1 1/2 to 2 months. I always tip well and never complain. Today, I was put in a chair, lukewarm to cold water put in the foot spa. The chair had a big pit in the cushion. The chair started massage. I was very uncomfortable. In about 15 minutes I started t rise to get a pillow and someone brought me a cushion. OTHER THAN THAT NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. 30 minutes later and people coming in and being serviced I was over my much needed pedicure. I got up and told them I was leaving. I explained, I was NEVER told I needed to wait, I was put in cold water, I had been there for 30 minutes and I needed to get to a meeting. I ALSO TOLD THE MANAGER...I would not be back. At one point during this, they actually had 2 people working on 1 person. The person who came in 10 minutes after me and sat in the spa chair next to me. I do not recommend this nail salon to anyone. Absolutely wonderful experience. Anne did my nails and even though it was my first visit there she greeted me with a hug! She is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met and you can tell she really puts her customers first and has a lot of pride in what she does.
